    Incredible SOUND! + VIP caution

by JPO on 12/26/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

@ Moody Center, Austin Texas... The concert was *incredible* - a stunning 10/10 performance by the band, supported by the best sound production crew I've ever experienced live. Small caution about the VIP Experience: Food was sub-par (worse than many concourse vendors). Travel to the Q&A took 30m and the "Private Q&A with the band"would be better described as "Private session where the band will have time to answer a handful of questions."- We expected this and really enjoyed listening, but heard others complain, based on the way it had been promoted in the package. Would we do it again? Yes. But we'd eat on the concourse :)

    Excellent Christmas Show!

by Johnny on 12/26/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

I’m not a fan of Pentatonix (or wasn’t a fan), but that all changed with this Christmas concert. Fans of a cappella music probably already know how amazing they are and you don’t need much convincing, but to the people who are like the way I was, not a fan of it, never cared for it and preferred the sounds of live instruments, let me tell you, these guys (and lady) are the real deal. The VIP Meet and Greet was as advertised, they are a very nice group of artists, very humble and really interactive with their fans. Of course it’s all about the music though right? 5/5, vocals are some of the best I’ve ever heard live, the bass, the rhythm and beats, and of course all the others are just superb! I recommend this show to anyone, especially those who want a family friendly show!

    Awesome!!!

by 14kt on 12/25/23Legacy Arena at The BJCC - Birmingham

This is one of the BEST concerts I have ever been to! I was pleasantly surprised when the opening music started playing around 7:15, and even more excited to see that just a few minutes later The Pentatonix were actually onstage rather than an opening act. The show was amazing, sound was excellent, the interaction with the crowd was great, and the shirts being shot into the audience was an added perk, although it would have been nice if they shot some up into the sides. Two thumbs up! Highly recommend this concert. Only negative was the parking situation.

    Pentatonix

by Angi on 12/25/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

I was quite disappointed by the show. Why? The concert did not begin until 7:30. There was no opener for the group. The sound was also so loud that it distorted the pitch. My seat vibrated with the bass reverberations throughout the show. Two songs were so distorted you couldn't hear the melody. I will probably never attend another show at the Dickies Arena due to issues with the sound. Quite disappointing. I will stick to iTunes when I listen to Pentatonix in the future.

    Amazing show but...

by SME on 12/25/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

... the bass or drums on a few songs was SO LOUD (even with earplugs!) that I could physically feel it. I couldn't enjoy those songs because of the volume. Some of the acoustic set didn't seem very Christmas-y. Overall, though, it was a great show by AMAZING musicians!

    Disappointed

by LAM on 12/25/23Food City Center - Knoxville

I had such high expectations for this Christmas concert. Pentatonix is such a talented group and for the most part they sounded great! For the price I paid for tickets, I was expecting more. The audio, particularly at the beginning, was hard to hear their voices. They also had a few segments that were time wasters. I would have rather heard more songs, rather then the game playing and audition participation segments.

    Disappointing

by Bleweyez on 12/25/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

Too much “filler” and too little actual singing! And a 30min intermission during a short concert and after only a few songs performed??? I would have been better off just listening to their holiday music at home! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Great group - but not sounding their best

by DJ3 on 12/25/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

We love Pentatonix and have seen them multiple times in multiple venues in Austin. This concert was a mixed bags. Generally the sound was less than optimal. It was too loud and distorted most of the time. This is an accapella group...crisp clean sound is essential. We didn't get that. There were a few songs that were nice. But for some of them, I couldn't hear many of the words and the harmonies were lost. The show itself was good, but not great. The start was loud and impersonal - like they were trying to be rock stars. The second half was better with more interaction and stories. Overall, it did feel like the group was tired and going through the motions. Even some of the harmonies were off...maybe related to sound system issues

    Worth the price

    Excellent show and artists!

by Mando on 12/24/23Food City Center - Knoxville

The Pentatonix were excellent and the show exceeded my expectations! The songs they selected for the show were great and so was the audiotronics. The sound of their voices Carrie’s well throughout and even better was the connection with the audience. Loved the show!

    Really was Wonderful!

by Tab on 12/24/23Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

Had a great time, everything was wonderful. The people that worked at Dickies arena were very nice. The VIP experience was a lot of fun. The sound was great. There was a bit more walking than I expected.

    Great show

by Jerry on 12/24/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

My only complaint, PTX was almost 30 minutes late starting show. Everything else about their performance exceeded my expectations, and I had very high expectations. I haven’t been to very many concerts, but this was the best

Parking was ridiculous and the concert was too loud!

by Catscratch on 12/24/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

We were unable to enjoy the sound quality of the performers because they were blasting us with volume and it was distorted. Additionally, I arrived 30 minutes late because the Manor Parking Garage was blocked off where I purchased my $100 ticket. After being in line for parking for over 1 hour near the garage I bailed and got street parking and a rickshaw.

    Astounding!

by Group of 7 on 12/24/23Moody Center ATX - Austin

The energy and effects were highly impacting. The "B"stage was a tremendous surprise, as Pentatonix performed from the middle of the arena and right in front of non-floor attendees. Having an amazing, all ages, seasonal event with powerful messages and performances made the experience extra special!
