About

Pentatonix are a three-time Grammy Award-winning a cappella group from Arlington, Texas. Their breakthrough came when they won the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off in 2011, and they gained further recognition by uploading videos(Opens in new tab) to their YouTube channel. The quintet has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200: Pentatonix (2015) and the platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas (2016). Consisting of singers Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kristin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee, Pentatonix have been invited to perform everywhere from The White House to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They’ve collaborated with artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Lindsey Stirling, and performed with Dolly Parton on her classic hit “Jolene,” which earned Pentatonix a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2017. The talented singers regularly perform in sold-out arenas worldwide, and have toured with acts like Kelly Clarkson, Rachel Platten and Echosmith.

    We loved every minute of the concert. They sang a variety of songs and were so entertaining. Because we were sitting a little farther back, we especially appreciated when they sang on the second stage. Have highly recommended the concert to everyone.

    Venue was helpful in getting us through security/tickets quickly. I did not know why the concert was stated to begin at 7:00pm - but did not start until 7:30 - and there was an intermission that I was unaware of. All seats are great! - Loved having the jumbo screens for close ups!

    Thoroughly enjoyed hearing Pentatonix. The seating however is very tight and cramped for most people. Allstate Arena needs to provide adequate room for patrons.

    The stage lighting was spectacular. The performances kept you on the edge of your seats. I enjoyed how they performed on the big stage in front and the small stage in the rear of the venue. The audience was engaged from the beginning to the end of the event. My first show and I will be back next year, God willing.

    We did a Grandmother, Daughter in law, and Grand daughter night out. It was the Grand Daughter's Christmas gift. It lived up to our expectations and it was a grand night of entertainment. She got High Fived by a one of the singer's and we got it on video! It made her night. We were thrilled. Than you for the best experience.

    This concert was fun and exciting and wasn't too "flashy"or overstimulating. It was fun to see the singers interact with each other. Everyone could feel the friendship and love between them. The set was relatively simple but the graphics were excellent. It was also a special bonus to see them perform in the back of the arena and walk through the crowd, greeting everyone.

    The singing and performance were 5 star. We paid extra to sit on the floor, but could not see anything. I know they were excited to sell out an arena, but it was also awkward when the stage was behind us. If I see them again it will be in a theater.
