Pensacola Ice Flyers at Pensacola Bay Center
The Pensacola Ice Flyers are the sole professional hockey team on Florida's Emerald Coast. Their downtown location and family-friendly on-ice entertainment offers a unique experience that is enjoyable for all ages. With 28 home games scheduled throughout the season, attendees can stop by the Pensacola Bay Center beginning each October to watch the exhilarating action. The Ice Flyers host theme nights including Dog Race Nights, Star Wars Night, Mardi Gras Night, Bushwackers Night, and multiple Military Appreciation Nights. Single-Game Tickets start at an affordable $17, while a range of Season Ticket plans are available to cater to every budget and schedule.
Pensacola Ice Flyers Background
The Pensacola Ice Flyers were founded in 2009, following the Ice Pilots who had been part of the ECHL since 1996. The team began playing at the Pensacola Bay Center in the 2009-10 season as a member of the SPHL. Since then, the Ice Flyers have become one of the top teams in the league, winning multiple championships and making a significant impact on the community. The team is owned by Greg Harris, who took over in 2012. With four President's Cup championships, they are tied for most in league history. Their attendance numbers consistently rank in the top three in the league. The Ice Flyers will celebrate their 15th anniversary during the 2023-24 season.
Exciting OT game but Pensacola lost. These seats are right next to the visitors bench. This blocks the view of over half the ice. We moved to other seats. THESE SEATS SHOULD COME WITH A DISCLAIMER. Do NOT buy them!

Plenty of parking. Comfortable seats, exciting game! The IceFlyers seem to put their heart and soul in the game and this makes the fan base loyal! Fun and exciting night out! The time went by fast! Made you want to stay until the very end!
My son and I have never been to a hockey game before. It was so much fun and we'll definitely be going again. My only complaint is the parking. I did get a little confused, but i'll know better next time!

I'm not a hockey aficionado but I really enjoy the event live. This was a great game with an overtime period and a shoot out. Free hockey!!!
The Ice Flyers game was a fantastic and fun event. I took my son to his first ever hockey game, and the atmosphere really got him excited and charged up. We sat next to the visitor bench, and got some authentic souvenirs from the visitors' equipment manager. So, overall a FANtastic time.
First hockey game for my 7 year old grandson - he loved it!
Fans were not respectful of the game. They were enthused but shouted insults at full voice.
Excellent parking, excellent seats, and a very exciting game. Everything was very well organized and I would/will easily be doing this again.

Pensacola Civic Center is easy to find, parking is close by, and entry and exit are a snap. Seating is comfortable. And ticket prices are quite affordable. The quality of play is above expectations. There's a nice family atmosphere. This was the first sporting event I've ever attended where there was a PA announcement asking folks to refrain from profanity out of respect for the children in attendance. The Ice Flyers provide a nice ice hockey "fix" for northern transplants like myself who have attended numerous NHL games. And you can't beat sitting on the glass for $25!
The Flyers continue to deliver, especially on their promotions, which for this event was "Guaranteed Fight Night". The game was thrilling to watch, a well rounded affair which was up for grabs most of the evening. The Flyers are a must see in Pensacola.
The seats were great.... the game, not so much. Disappointing would be the word I would use. Yes, the Ice Flyers lost but with the way they played, they deserved it! Each period was full of sloppy play, lack of follow through and unnecessary turn overs. I had higher hopes that they would change their game after each period but... no. They were better last year, And to top it off, the officials would not let them fight. One fight occurred and many more were squashed before it happened. At least let them fight if they are losing miserably. I know the fans would have enjoyed the game more for this reason alone. Let 'em fight, that's what minor league hockey is about!
Felt like I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out. Enjoyed the Ice Flyers/Cottonmouth Dec. 30 game immensely. Will make this a regular outing with my husband. The crowd was enthusiastic and focused. The entertainment events were fun and totally family-oriented. Great date night fun and good value for the dollars spent.
We attended the flyers and riverhawks game Sat. Nov. 13th, It was awsome, my kids loved the experience. We will try to go and see more of these events in the future.
lots of fun! don't pay for high dollar tickets. croud is usually small so you can buy cheap and find a good seat when the event starts.
Game was awesome, the only problem was the e ticket didn't work for me or the person next to me. I'll use will call next time.
This was the first hockey game that my husband and I have ever been to. We were thrilled with our seats (second row from the ice) and the game was amazing!!! We loved every minute of it and we will definitely be going again.
