Pensacola Ice Flyers Background
The Pensacola Ice Flyers were founded in 2009, following the Ice Pilots who had been part of the ECHL since 1996. The team began playing at the Pensacola Bay Center in the 2009-10 season as a member of the SPHL. Since then, the Ice Flyers have become one of the top teams in the league, winning multiple championships and making a significant impact on the community. The team is owned by Greg Harris, who took over in 2012. With four President's Cup championships, they are tied for most in league history. Their attendance numbers consistently rank in the top three in the league. The Ice Flyers will celebrate their 15th anniversary during the 2023-24 season.

I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did! This was my first hockey game. So much fun.
Good game. There needs to be more high energy music to keep the fans pumped up, as well as the players.
We were on Spring Break in Pensacola Beach, looking for a fun night out. We live in an NHL city (outside of Fla.) and are huge hockey fans. Thought a night at minor league hockey game would be just the ticket. Had a blast...!
Ice Flyers do an excellent job on their promotions and fan interaction. My Grandkids and I had a fun night plus a come from behind win.
I recently attended the Sunday game and was disappointed that there were no game programs. I would have been interested in seeing the players backgrounds and other info on the teams. I did enjoy the game other than that.
Tons of fun, can’t beat the value and it’s always a good show. Win or lose
I love going to an Ice Flyers game. There is always something going on. Weiner dog races, theme nights, or kids activities and not to mention Hockey! It's a fun family experience.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the game. The venue was great except the sound system needs improvement as it was difficult to hear the announcer (I've noticed this at several events we've attended there). The vendor we went to for snacks was good, they were efficient and kept the line moving as quickly as possible. The only disappointment was that they ran out of the adult jerseys, and we were not able to get one. Jersey night was one of the reasons we picked that date was to be able to get the souvenir jerseys.
That was the second game I have been to it was a great night. I’m hooked on Hockey now will definitely be back to support The Ice Flyers. Loved the Mardi Gras Theme Night. The crowd is always amazing and up to beat.
I have been to Ice Flyers games in the past and this was a great experience. We happened to go on Mardi Gras night and that was fun for the kiddos. Also, over the years, the upgrades to the venue have been amazing to see.
A wonderful game and atmosphere. Love every minute of it.
I had previously left a very unhappy review after my ticjets were ossued for the wring game date. I made multiple contacts to ticketmaster with no willingness to correct the issue. It wasnt just the 'no refund policy', it was the non personable, worse than AI interactions i had with the staff- even on phone calls that made me just write them off and decide to use another service for anything in the future. But Ashley(from fan support) reached out to me personally and corrected the issue. I was extremly happy for that it being an anniversary present. However it was the empathy and communication that made the difference, that made me almost not care about the bad previous 5 or 6 interactions. It wasn't just a standard email, it was personable and that's uncommon with everything being digital. She checked in multiple times and made me feel like my issue was important to even a huge company. Truly a kind woman! Great communication from start to finish and thats what undid the bad. Thank you again Ashley. True kindness does still make an impact!
The game was so fun and entertaining. They had events between periods and the game itself was great. Can’t wait to go back!
We just had so much fun! Great plays, exciting fights, a variety of enjoyable music!
Great event! Easy to park and get inside the venue also easy to find our seats. Great environment for anyone and very engaging.
Our first time at hockey game and Pensacola ice flyers were fast! Lights , music , food and laughter as the fans cheer on the team, this was a great experience from start to finish with some cold beer and watching the team was captivating as well as thrilling such a great experience we will be back!
My family enjoys going to the Pensacola Ice Flyers games. Great family friendly atmosphere. We've been to several of the games and we all thoroughly enjoy the experience.
I had a good time watching the Ice Flyers game. My low rating is because the Pensacola Bay Center needs a total refurbishment. Long lines to get into the facility. Longer lines for refreshments. Parking can easily bottleneck so arrive early . The venue is wonderful when hardly anyone is in attendance. barely tolerable when half full.
Row V section 101 seats 1&2- don't bother to purchase. You can only see half the ice due to the film area is next to you and their equipment and such block the view. Of course you would assume that $35/ea seat would have had a decent view. Also the staff still lets people walk to seats when puck is in play.
