Penn State Lady Lions at Bryce Jordan Center

The Lady Lions play in the Bryce Jordan Center, a 15,261-seat multipurpose arena in University Park, Pennsylvania. The venue opened in 1996 under its current name, which honors former university president Bryce Jordan, who helped secure its construction funds during his tenure between 1983 and 1990. The student section is known as the Legion of Blue and cheers are buoyed by the Pride of the Lions pep band. Since 2007, the Lady Lions have hosted the annual “Pink Zone at Penn State” game in which players and fans wear pink in support of organizations fighting breast cancer.

  • Good game, great entertainment, I will do it again!

by Julius Ceasar on 2/18/24Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the experience! My parents worked long hours when I was an adolescent, and, teenager, so I think I only went to maybe 2 sporting events with my parents. As a former high school athlete, and, someone who got to play professional amateur soccer when I was 18 years old for one year, I know what it takes just to play, and practice for an athletic team. That is why I enjoy it, I understand sports, and, am able to sit down as a fan at these events, and enjoy the competition, at whatever level it is. Especially when it is Penn State! We are! I recommend it for anyone that is new to the sport or is already a fan. Penn State trains at a high level. I reccomend coming early and staying until the end of the game to get the true experience, and, leave the game feeling good about it. Unlike myself, i showed up when the game was in the third quarter. Regardless, I enjoyed it.

  • Great Atmosphere

Although the outcome of the game was not what I had hope, the tribute to all the breast cancer survivors and the Pink Zone atmosphere was great!

  • First event ever

by Heather on 3/9/23Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first event at the Bryce Jordan center and the first women’s basketball game we have ever been to. My daughter and I had so much fun. One of the best experiences we both have had and we will be going to another one in the future. I have also booked another event at the Bryce Jordan Center since then and looking forward to it.

  • Lady lions

by Happy father on 3/2/23Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Took my daughter to see the woman’s PSU basketball game and had a great time. My daughter had been asking to go and probably the best part was when the ladies came out after the game and took pics, signed autographs. Could not ask for a better day for her.

  • PA system is too loud

by gnfindl83 on 1/22/23Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 3 out of 5

The PA, stadium announcer and music is too loud. We took our 3 year great niece to a women's basketball game and the sound system is too loud for young ears. The PA system seems to want to compensate for the few fans in the stands with extra loud music and announcing by the stadium announcers. You can barely hear people seated next to you in between game action because of the piped in music and announcements.

  • Simple and Easy

by Matt on 1/2/23Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Tickets came instantly to my phone. They were easily saved to Apple Wallet. Getting into the BJC was as simple and easy. Kids loved being on the video board. Game was outstanding. Would like to see a better concessions/apparel vendor area.

  • First Lady Lion Game

by Ali on 12/14/22Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 5 out of 5

My 14 year old daughter and the basketball team was invited to attend the Lady Lion Basketball game. So my family purchased court side seats for their first Lady Lion Basketball game. It was a lot of fun. My youngest loved the kids corner. She made a sign "Free Good Luck Fist Bumps" and was excited when she received some from the people helping with the team! Even though our house was divided (husband is from WV), it was a fun time.

  • Average atmosphere and over the top announcers are too loud

by gnfindl83 on 11/13/22Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 3 out of 5

The announcers and PA at the BJC are too loud. The in game games and promotions are lame at best and don't gather any attention.

  • Would not purchase again

by Andy on 1/19/22Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 1 out of 5

Purchased the tickets in advance for a Christmas present. Snow storm made it impossible to attend. PSU refused to let us transfer to another game even though the arena never sells out for these games. Will not make this mistake again. Just buy at the ticket window or go to a Pitt game. They have given me replacement tickets for similar issues.

  • Awesome seats and great experience for my squad!

by TheMayor05 on 2/19/20Bryce Jordan Center - University ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Easy to find parking outside of the venue, great seats and easy access on my smart phone for hassle free ticket use.
