This is the second time I took the family to see the Peking acrobats, and we loved them just as much this time around. At least half the show was all new, which was a nice surprise--I didn't expect things to be very different. Can't wait for next year!
great family show. Crowd was on their feet by end. The show is non stop great acrobatic feats that blows your mind away. very pretty music in background played by small group on mandolins. Anyone of any age would be overwhelmed by the skill of the acrobats!
My family (mom, dad, 2 sons 8 & 10) thoroughly enjoyed the performance! We are very glad we went. Something you must see! My sons' favorite act was the single acrobat on top of the stacked chairs - on top of 4 bottles!
The Peking Acrobats put on an incredible demonstration of skill and talent. They are a very disciplined team driven to perform for their audience. The choreography was good, but if looking for the glam of a cirque show this is not it.
I don't review anything, but I had to review these young people. I found them amazing and talented. My daughters and I sat, awestruck, for two hours while they did the most unimaginable things with their limber, strong, well-controlled bodies. They were even funny in various parts as well. The music they played throughout was live and played with traditional Chinese instruments. All in all, we were so enlightened and intrigued with their talent, their remaining so close to their traditional music and dress and yet being able to have so much fun at what they were doing. It was very obvious when they performed that they were all having such fun. There isn't one aspect of the performance that we could complain about, not one!
there is no doubt they performed some remarkable feats, however, for the money paid, I expected to be wowed and they should have had a more elegant setting. The props and costumes appeared cheap.
We saw this show on News Years Eve! It was really unbelievable!! So many talented people. They performed many acts, each one different, and as the show went on the degree of difficulty also progressed. A great show for a date, or to take the entire family to. The acrobats were very receptive, professional, and grateful. They earned their standing ovation!!
Great entertainment for the entire family. The entire cast of the Peking Acrobats put an amazing amount of time and energy into the show. I never felt like they were just going through the motions. Highly recommended. Oh yeah...the DSSO was pretty darn good too.
Excellent show keeping you on the edge of your seat
My first chance to see the Peking Acrobats -- they are fantastic and we were overwhelmed by the entire event.
The performers in this show are amazing. There were a couple mistakes made where things didn't go exactly as planned, but in a way it made it more exciting as one was always cheering for the performers to accomplish their incredible feats. The highlight of the show was a chair stack that had just about everyone in the arena out of breath. The flexibility, balance, body control, and professionalism of these performers is extreme. I highly recommend this to anyone.
What a great event to see! I couldn't believe my eyes for what the Peking Acrobats could do! Amazing!!!
This was our second year to see a DSSO concert at the Amzoil Arena, and the improvements in the setting were very good. Last year the concert was set at the long end of the arena to alow for the skating, but the viewing was not good. This year with the stage on the long side, the view was much better. The sound was improved also, I am sure that with each additional experience more is learned how to use the facility.
I felt the show was OK. It is not the type of show that I would say "I would love to see it again." There were times that the only thing going on was the symphony playing. We went to see the show, not listen to the symphony. I felt it was not a very classy show.
A great show, a must see if you have the opportunity!
Great Evening. The only problem was the ticket we purchased was not available. We were given other seats. We still then do not understand why ticket master recommend to take the insurance (around 7 dollars per ticket!!!) The evening was great; however we feel hesitant to re-use Ticket Master service because of the problem mentioned above.
Peking Acrobats are Incredible!! If we hadn't seen it with our own eyes, we wouldn't have believed what they could do.
I didn't know the human body could be put in those positions and when the little guy went 40' up on a stack of chairs and did a hand stand I was in awe.
I expected it to be good from the previews I had seen. It was way beter than I ever imagined. I took my girlfriend & her granddaughter. We had very excellent seats. Non stop action/ entertainment from beginning to end. The granddaughter was on the edge of her seat the whole time. I ould deffinately go again.
LOVED THE SHOW BEAUTIFUL CASION JUST AN OVERALL AMAZING EXPERIENCE WILL GO TO ANOTHER SHOW IN A HEART BEAT
