About

Pearl Jam is an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band's lineup consists of bassist Jeff Ament, rhythm guitarist Stone Gossard, lead guitarist Mike McCready, lead singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder and drummer Matt Cameron. Thirty-plus years of live performances, twelve studio albums and hundreds of official live concert bootleg releases later, Pearl Jam continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Pearl Jam's new album, Dark Matter, is out April 19, 2024. Since the earliest days, Pearl Jam has used its platform to elevate people and causes that often go unnoticed or underserved. Much of the band’s philanthropic work is accomplished through its Vitalogy Foundation which to date has raised more than $50 million for organizations supporting issues such as abortion access, climate change and homelessness, and drawing attention to the fight against diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). In addition to the money Vitalogy donates, the band also donates signed instruments, posters and merchandise to organizations to use for their own fundraising purposes. Compounding the impact of Vitalogy Foundation, the band has supported Jeff Ament’s Montana Pool Service in building skate parks in Montana and South Dakota. Pearl Jam also lends its voice to notable causes like the West Memphis 3, voting rights and fair ticketing practices. Over the past three decades, the band has a long history of standing up for what it believes in and putting its resources behind those beliefs. Through its innovative Ten Club and fan engagement, community building, coveted poster designs, and longstanding activism and philanthropy, Pearl Jam continues to have a lasting impact on generations of music lovers.

Pearl Jam was great but venue and set up not so much

by Susan on 5/19/24MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las Vegas

Merchandise lines were ridiculous. We stood in line for an hour just for the one line to expand into 10 lines. With a venue that constantly hosts bands, you would think they would have a better set up to allow people to buy what they want quickly and easily. When the show started there was a spotlight on stage to light up the drums area but the spotlight also blinded our area so much that we couldn’t even make out individual members of the band. Thank goodness that lasted for about 4 songs and then they changed it. I couldn’t believe lighting was so poor. The bands was so great!! And they sounded great. They played most of Dark Matters and some older fan favorites. They have such a large discography, it is impossible for them to play the favorites of everyone. But they sure did try. They sounded great from beginning to end and their show went for about 2 hours. Loved it!!!

    Pearl Jam

by Pearl Jam - Las Vegas on 5/19/24MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las Vegas

Made the trip out to Las Vegas to see Pearl Jam. It did not disappoint. It’s been a few years since we’ve gotten the chance to see them. They played all the hits and the new album. Highly recommend catching them if they are in your town. Can’t wait to see them again.

    They still got it!

by Mikey Mac on 5/19/24MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las Vegas

Pearl Jam CRUSHED It. Everyone was in point. The only thing I'd chance was the lighting. We were 200 section, front row, left of the stage. Could barely see them as the lighting was too dark

    😞😞😞😞

by April on 5/19/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

I was so disappointed with Pearl Jam. I wish they had used the jumbo Tran so I could see the stage, I was in section 212 so the seats would have been great but I didn’t see the band. The sound system didn’t help it was off and didn’t hear vocals, so couldn’t see the band or hear them. I see a lot of concerts so I guess I just expected the Seattle band.

    Immortality

by Bev on 5/18/24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Words cannot describe the energy felt during a Pearl Jam concert. It's intense, it's electrifying, the way a packed venue sings in unison to the PJ catalog. A minimum 2 hour setlist each night does not disappoint. A mix of classics paired with the brand new album. There's something for everyone to enjoy. Pearl Jam is definitely a band you cannot miss.

It's Pearl Jam. OF COURSE, IT WAS AMAZING!

    by S. Hall on 5/17/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Pearl Jam is one of the best rock bands to ever exist. They are the consummate professionals. Even though they performed Dark Matter (which I didn't know as well) and not much of the older stuff, it didn't matter. They are that good. I love Vedder, and Vedder's voice, and Vedder's passion, and Vedder's humanity, and Vedder's authenticity! And Mike McCready... I don't have words; he played the guitar while holding it behind his head and gave one of the most epic guitar solos I've ever heard; and that, alone, was worth the ticket price! The only thing that would have made my night more complete is if they had performed Yello Ledbetter. I needed that guitar riff, so I pulled it up on Spotify and played it on my way home, LOL! I enjoyed the venue, Golden 1 Center; it's clean, it has great parking and great local shops. Given the opportunity to go there, again, I would not sit in the nose bleeds because there is not enough leg room. It's quite steep up there, too. All in, the concert was a wonderful experience :-)

They played some of their older music

by Whitey on 5/17/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

The show was OK they didn’t play enough for their older stuff. Waited a long time for the show but I understand they had a new album come out but we had tickets. They didn’t have a new album yet thank you.

    Awesome Conert….but…..

    by C21 on 5/16/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

The concert was amazing!! However, I was unable to access my tickets via Ticketmaster App or on the website. I had to go to will call and have the agent send me a link. She was so nice and helpful, it was just inconvenient and made us late for the concert. Otherwise, it was a great!

    PJ in Sactown

by Josh on 5/16/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Bad Ass! Just like going back to the future. College days were never complete without Pearl Jam. The band is sooo good; instruments are so tight and Ed’s voice seems to grow every year. Super bad ass.

Just as good as they were in 1992

by Lee on 5/16/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Be careful when choosing seats at the Golden 1 Arena in the 200s rows A and B. Excellent view but zero leg room. I’m only 5’5” and my knees were up against the rail. The guys next to me couldn’t even sit down.

    AMAZING

by Krazy on 5/16/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Best show ever! And I saw Led Zep in 76. Perfect mix of new and old, musicianship amazing, Mike McCready is the most under rated guitar player on the planet. Eddies voice sounded as good if not better than in the 90's. Hard to believe these guys are all approaching or in there 60's. Unlike others who should have stopped touring years ago, I would pay any price to see them again.

    Electric from start to finish.

by T From Sacramento on 5/16/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Pearl Jam like a fine wine only gets better with age. Saw them in 1995 and was blown away with the energy and enthusiasm to entertain. The Sacramento show was my 24th time seeing them live. Already looking forward to their next album and tour.
