About

Iconic musician, producer, director, and performance artist, Peaches first catapulted to stardom with her 2000 debut, The Teaches of Peaches, which introduced the world to her sexually transgressive, fiercely assertive, and utterly captivating persona. Since then, Peaches has released four more trailblazing albums, won the prestigious Polaris Heritage Prize, collaborated with everyone from Iggy Pop and Daft Punk to Christina Aguilera and Yoko Ono, landed songs in cultural watermarks like Lost in Translation and The Handmaid's Tale, and seen her work studied at universities around the world.

In addition to her musical output, Peaches has directed over 20 videos, co-curated a photo book of her life, created a host of immersive installations and performative works, and penned the electro-rock opera Peaches Does Herself, which was adapted into a film shown at over 70 festivals. The subject of two acclaimed documentaries, Peaches has also played the title role in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo and Brecht's The Seven Deadly Sins and continues to perform her widely lauded one-woman show, Peaches Christ Superstar.

Peaches' first album in 10+ years entitled No Lube So Rude is set for release in 2026. Peaches says of the new music "When the world is friction, lube isn't a luxury. It's a necessity. It's how you turn that friction into pleasure, into power, into pride. I want people to understand that they can still have a voice no matter who they are or what the world says about them. Now more than ever, there are so many forces that just want you to give up and be quiet. If this album can help you resist that, then that's what it's for."

  • Best show I've seen in a long time

Peaches and her supporting performers delivered an amazing, high energy performance. She gave the sold out venue more than our money's worth with a full two hour performance that showcased her outstanding vocal range with several wardrobe changes. Highly recommend seeing this true pioneer.

  • Such a great show!

by The Great Mandingo on 8/29/229:30 CLUB - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Peaches puts on such a great and entertaining show. I found her music a few years ago watching Letterkenny and had no idea what to expect, so it was a total surprise. It is refreshing to see an artist like Peaches because she doesn’t follow trends and she does whatever she wants. Looking forward to the next show.

  • An unexpected treat

    by Crash K. on 8/27/229:30 CLUB - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

You may ask yourself; What would a 66-year-old, conservative mainstream suburban male, be doing at a Peaches show. This was not a concert, it was a show with all the pageantry, theatrics, dance and dialog of a Broadway show. The talent and music was very well produced and from the opening to the encore this was truly entertaining. Peaches also incorporates the audience in her show interfacing by coming out into the crowd. Peaches is truly an icon towards empowering talented women to achieve success with hard work and an attitude that one can do what they want and achieve success without having to answer to the corporate paradigm. I understand she and her music producer do everything without a label, manager, road manager and tour without a production company. Peaches is also truely a person who loves her fans enough to communicate with them directly through social media. When you hear her music for the first time you can't help to think that this is uniquely different, but to see it performed live is a real treat.

Peaches in your face! The Summit is a great, intimate venue where you can see your favorite artist up close and personal. As for Peaches, well they never disappoint. I was schooled in the Teaches of Peaches and won't soon forget what I learned.
