About

Iconic musician, producer, director, and performance artist, Peaches first catapulted to stardom with her 2000 debut, The Teaches of Peaches, which introduced the world to her sexually transgressive, fiercely assertive, and utterly captivating persona. Since then, Peaches has released four more trailblazing albums, won the prestigious Polaris Heritage Prize, collaborated with everyone from Iggy Pop and Daft Punk to Christina Aguilera and Yoko Ono, landed songs in cultural watermarks like Lost in Translation and The Handmaid's Tale, and seen her work studied at universities around the world.

In addition to her musical output, Peaches has directed over 20 videos, co-curated a photo book of her life, created a host of immersive installations and performative works, and penned the electro-rock opera Peaches Does Herself, which was adapted into a film shown at over 70 festivals. The subject of two acclaimed documentaries, Peaches has also played the title role in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo and Brecht's The Seven Deadly Sins and continues to perform her widely lauded one-woman show, Peaches Christ Superstar.

Peaches' first album in 10+ years entitled No Lube So Rude is set for release in 2026. Peaches says of the new music "When the world is friction, lube isn't a luxury. It's a necessity. It's how you turn that friction into pleasure, into power, into pride. I want people to understand that they can still have a voice no matter who they are or what the world says about them. Now more than ever, there are so many forces that just want you to give up and be quiet. If this album can help you resist that, then that's what it's for."

  • She’s a queen !

by Shay on 8/20/22Summit - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

She put out the best energy for a straight three hours…most performers can only dream of that. The venue was packed, but the way she interacted with the crowd made it feel so intimate! The band and dancers were amazing…they obviously love performing together! One of the best live shows we have ever been to! 🍑🔥❤️

  • Possibly the best show I've ever seen (been to a lot)

by shogoer on 8/20/22Summit - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Amazingly talented and professional dancers and musicians, stunning choreography, lights, costumes, props, production. Peaches surpassed my impression of her as a legend, and she kept going. There's no one like her. She made every Teaches of Peaches song sound even better than it did 20 yrs ago, then she played more. So much more than a show. Everyone needs this!

  • Peaches was one of the best performances I have ever seen.

by Ac on 8/20/22Summit - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Not only was it great music it also was performance art. Multiple costume changes. High energy. Even the crowd was pleasant and fun. I will make an effort to see her again when she comes back.

  • All-in entertainment

by Darren on 6/7/22House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

PEACHES and her crew put on a great show for us; she even stood on the crowd and performed one of the songs... before bringing out the giant inflatable... balloon... to dance some more. Full-energy and very creative.

by Stephen B on 5/25/22The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Peaches is everything you want her to be in her concert. Subversive, irreverent, funny, entertaining, provocative. This concert was so much fun and the crowd was all love for a cherished performer. She puts on a fun show. The dancers are great, the choreography is great, the band is phenomenal. She keeps the energy up the entire show and gives you everything you expect from such a badass. Definitely go see her.

  • One-of-a-kind Performance Artist

by Joe on 5/24/22The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Wearing a vag on her head & her Teaches on her chest, Peaches gave her all: non-stop wet sticky & beautifully nasty. Confessed at the end she was losing her voice, but it didn't fail until she blew it out on the final encore. Definitely recommended.

  • Uh-Mazing

by Jenny Johnson on 5/24/22The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve never seen anything like this in my whole life. What a show.

  • Unique concert experience

    by P. T. on 5/24/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Peaches is a unique kind of musician/performer. The concert was more then just music, it’s a semi art performance. Not of the regular kind either.

  • Everything I Was Expecting & WAY MORE!!!

by MLVCLVR on 5/23/22The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

From the moment she stepped on stage until the last note that she hit…I or I should say EVERYONE in that venue couldn’t take their eyes off the stage. Peaches and her insanely fabulous and amazing posse brought it over, and over, and over on that stage. #MYHEARTWILLGOONPEACHES

  • A Lovely Fun-Filled Evening!

by Jokie X on 5/23/22The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The show opened with a performance by Lil Mariko. I had not heard of her before and enjoyed my introduction. I recommend looking her up. Then Peaches came on with her band. Every moment was celebratory and fun as they jammed and danced! It was such a joy to watch everyone perform. They seemed to be having the time of their lives as they went through the entire Teaches of Peaches album and then sang a few more Peaches classics. The music was expertly performed and full of excitement. The concert was a great place to be with great people dancing and singing along. It was a lovely little piece of Heaven!

  • It was okay. Nothing special.

by Tanuki on 5/23/22The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 2 out of 5

Peaches didn't sing so much as a scream most of the Teaches of Peaches album. The stage set up was pretty minimalist, but the dancers gave it the old college try. With nothing new on offer, it actually looked rather tired and by the numbers. I'm glad we went to support her, but probably won't do it again.

  • Peaches in SF

by Coleo on 5/23/22The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

This is one of the best shows I've seen in years. Peaches is such a great performer! She did everything off of The Teaches of Peaches and many more songs from all her other albums. All her many costume changes were done on stage during the songs so as not to slow down the flow. At one point the sound completely cut out as she was crowd surfing but she just got back on stage and the music came back on and she continued on rocking out hard!

  • AWESOME 🤯

  • Concert Great, Audience Members Rowdy

by alyohman on 10/4/16Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The concert itself was awesome, there were just a few less than amicable concert attendees. However, there's not much that can be done about that!
