PEABO BRYSON came out singing and everyone stood up and it was Showtime. He looked awesome he sounds better than ever, I mean better than CDs and Videos. Fine wine with age just gets better with time and PEABO BRYSON was a FINE AGED WINE.
DENIECE WILLIAMS sounded great and looked even better because the both of them gave us a show. They had on STAGE CLOTHING (after five attire) not worthy of our ticket price and much, much more than our ticket price, that is the reason I go every year to at least one or two a shows every season.
The opening act (Framework) was a DC group of former members' of 70's groups, i.e. Heatwave and other bands. The female members were really good singers especially the female lead out front. The musicians of the group put the FUNK on every song that they played. From the beginning when they played songs from their new CD that is out now to their re-makes of Alicia Keys' current hit and a DC favorite “Ain’t Leavin’ without You” by Jaheim, where everyone there stood up and got their dance on. The female lead introduced all the members, mostly from the DC/Maryland area. They had very well played solos and were off. There was one thing I didn't like Peabo and Deniece sang a duet together and he left. She sang Amazing Grace with music, just her amazing voice. She then sang her songs, another duet and she left. I'm O'L SKOOL (opening act, 2 billed and then star of show). That's all I'm saying.
