PBR: Professional Bull Riders on Tour
For a rodeo rider, trying to master a feisty horse is tough enough, a task not to be taken lightly, but bearing down on a big bull increases the scariness quotient considerably. That's one of the things that makes watching a pro bull rider so compelling — it's thrilling and frightening in equal measure as you marvel at the riders' skills while praying that they make it out unscathed.
These days, when it comes to bull riding, it's all about PBR: Professional Bull Riders. The organization started back in 1992 as a grassroots effort spearheaded by a handful of riders with a vision for what the sport could offer to fans. PBR grew by leaps and bounds over the decades, and by the 2010s they were sponsoring three major tours every year, adding up to hundreds of events with millions of dollars in prizes being awarded annually.
Needless to say, attending a PBR event means watching the best bull riders in the business strutting their stuff. Over the years, champs like J.B. Mauney, Kody Lostroh, Justin McBride, Adriano Moraes, Chris Shivers, and Tuff Hedeman have all distinguished themselves as decorated heroes of the PBR, giving all the rest a high standard to which they could aspire. And each of their tours offer fans the opportunity to catch some bull riding history in the making, be it the Unleash the Beast Series that ends with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, The Velocity Tour that showcases the rising stars of the PBR, or the Touring Pro Division split into Western, Central, and Eastern regions.
Whichever PBR competition you end up catching, there's one common thread. You're guaranteed to see some world-class athletes reaching deep inside themselves to tap into the best of their talents and give rodeo lovers an unforgettable experience.
If you have never watched professional bull riding, and even if you have, you will be blown away. Not a moment of boredom all night. It is extremely family friendly. The comedic element of the entertainers and announcers is another fun part. You will leave happy!
Lots of bull action. fast paced. some good riders. Lots of yelling and singing
It was such a good time my kids were so happy so excited there was a lot of energy and it was very intense will definitely be going back
1st thing noticed per venue. I use handicap parking... was able to park close to the building ..then made to walk from the back to the front of the Nutter Center !!!! Not sure what THAT was about :( 2nd noted thing was the very loud music. I'm somewhat deaf...and even "I" thought it was too loud. I told my son that I would have expected some country music.... maybe some Merle or George Straight and some of the COWBOY stuff. I enjoyed the pre show Patriotic recognition... the "we're all cowboys" segment was good as well. The action was pretty well non-stop. Seemed like a GREAT crew IN FRONT of and BEHIND the gates. The men protecting the riders were impressive !!!! There were times when the entertaining "clown" was a distraction. He was entertaining... but...... i.e. The emcees and the clown would be interacting near the emcee station and suddenly in the middle of their interaction they had to stop because there was riding action !! Overall... we had a great time and we loved the action and appreciate the athletic ability of the cowboys. Yes... we "would" and more than likely "will" attend again when PBR is close to our area again.
We went for our wedding anniversary and We had an absolutely amazing time!! We can’t wait to go back!!!!
The PBR event at the Nutter Center is something my family and I look forwarc to every year. The best atheletes in the world put on the best show in the world. I hope to never miss it.
Nothing I have ever done in my 50 years was as fun and exciting as this PBR rodeo. You felt as though you were riding with these amazing athletes! Then when it was all done they came over to the fans and sign our gear and took photos! What an experience for my whole family!
My wife’s and I go every year and it’s a blast. This was our third year going in a row. We sat in section 203 row 5 seats 10&11. This event never fails to amaze us we love it and look forward to it every year. Next year our oldest son will be old enough to enjoy it, so with that being said a new tradition will start in 2020. Thanks to the PBR and Ticketmaster for the great show and tickets.
It is an amazing experience. I recommend everyone to go and watch this at least once. I went last year for the first time and plan on attending whenever they come to Bangor, Maine. Tickets are reasonably priced as well.
I enjoyed watching the rides. The announcers keep it fun and when it is a serious situation they keep us informed. With the bog screen TV'S no one misses one single moment of the rides. I just think that it is very organized. They pay attention to safety at all times. That is so very important with such a dangerous sport. Love Watching The Show!!
The bull riding was exciting and entertaining. The ticket price is getting out of hand preventing families from affording the opportunity of attending. I had 3 families tell me that they could not afford the tickets for the entire family so they stayed home.
Exciting,tough bunch of cowboys our 4th year in a row wouldn't miss it
Ive always wanted to see PBR in person since I was little and watched it with my grandma. It did not disappoint!! I had an absolute blast! Can't wait to see it again!!!
Kids already talking about next year They want the floor thickets.

This was our first PBR rodeo and it was awesome we will definitely be going again next year. Could be sooner never know.
We had a great time! The check in and seating process were seamless. The sound system was great and we had a great time and hope to go again soon. We would have loved to have been closer to the action or even sat in the cage but do not know how to get information on that.
MY FAMILY LOOKS FORWARD TO THIS EVENT EVERY YEAR, EVEN MY 82 YEAR OLD MOTHER!!! ALWAYS SO MUCH FUN AND ENTERTAINING AND EXCITING. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR.
