PBR: Professional Bull Riders on Tour
For a rodeo rider, trying to master a feisty horse is tough enough, a task not to be taken lightly, but bearing down on a big bull increases the scariness quotient considerably. That's one of the things that makes watching a pro bull rider so compelling — it's thrilling and frightening in equal measure as you marvel at the riders' skills while praying that they make it out unscathed.
These days, when it comes to bull riding, it's all about PBR: Professional Bull Riders. The organization started back in 1992 as a grassroots effort spearheaded by a handful of riders with a vision for what the sport could offer to fans. PBR grew by leaps and bounds over the decades, and by the 2010s they were sponsoring three major tours every year, adding up to hundreds of events with millions of dollars in prizes being awarded annually.
Needless to say, attending a PBR event means watching the best bull riders in the business strutting their stuff. Over the years, champs like J.B. Mauney, Kody Lostroh, Justin McBride, Adriano Moraes, Chris Shivers, and Tuff Hedeman have all distinguished themselves as decorated heroes of the PBR, giving all the rest a high standard to which they could aspire. And each of their tours offer fans the opportunity to catch some bull riding history in the making, be it the Unleash the Beast Series that ends with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, The Velocity Tour that showcases the rising stars of the PBR, or the Touring Pro Division split into Western, Central, and Eastern regions.
Whichever PBR competition you end up catching, there's one common thread. You're guaranteed to see some world-class athletes reaching deep inside themselves to tap into the best of their talents and give rodeo lovers an unforgettable experience.
Loved everything about the rodeo. Loved the background stories on the riders too. My son, his girlfriend and his best friend are all bull riders and the Loved it.
It was a very exciting experience. I will be going to another show in the future.
Bull riding is officially the new favorite sport for my 14 year old grandson and me. The entertainment value, the faith, freedom, family nature, the bulls, and the amazing riders and bull fighters made this experience worth the trip. Can’t wait until next year! Ps- now he wants to be a bull fighter. ;)

It was very exciting! The dj was great. The bulls and riders were fantastic!
The announcers, bull riders and entire staff acted as if they were having a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the evening out. We also hope that any bull rider that was injured heals quickly and “thank you”!
Would rather be 0 stars!! Stopped selling alcohol an hour into the event! The Nutter Center will never get any of our money again!!! Pathetic!!
I took my boyfriend, his dad and son to watch the bull riding. It was the first for us all and we had a great time. We are planning on doing it again. Loved the music and the bull riding.
WE HAD A BLAST! I TOOK MY BOYFRIEND AS A SURPRISE AS HE LOVES BULL RIDING, AND THEN A COUPLE OF FRIENDS ALSO JOINED US AS A DOUBLE DATE. WE ALL LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. THE MUSIC, THE SHOW ITSELF, THE COMMENTATORS. IT WAS THE PERFECT, 'ALL AMERICAN' EVENT! WE LOVED THE PRAYER AT THE BEGINNING AND THE SINGING OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM, TOO. IN A WORLD WHERE THESE THINGS HAVE BECOME A LOST ART, WE LOVED EXPERIENCING IT!
Took my wife for her first PBR, she really enjoyed it. Had a wonderful time.
PBR’s Bull riding was an exciting event. Participants were all very good and I know the set up for this was not easy. Nice event !!’
We bought the PBR Experience Package and it was worth every penny. Meet and Greet Q& A with a rider, stock contractor, and bull fighter was awesome. Been a fan for over 15 years and learned new inside info. Went behind the shoots and met the bulls in person. We had the added treat of being there to see the second highest score in PBR history! Ticketmaster made it so easy to download all tickets including parking into my Apple Wallet and just scan and go. No internet needed.
I don't know where to start. The venue was perfect, seating well designed, and very well ran. The event itself was on the top of my "best events." and prompted me to purchase other events. We will definitely be back next year with new season!
My friends and I were excited to participate in a very Texas event, namely watching talented bull riders expertly ride bulls. However, what we actually got was 75% propaganda lauding the merits of the US Border Patrol. We wanted to see bull riders and bulls, not be convinced that the Border Patrol is somehow this wonderful protector of freedom when as recently as a week ago, they were lassoing literal people.
Great experience at PBR. Top notch event. Love how they prayed for the riders and our country and leaders before the event. Will go again
The AT&T center was the perfect place for the PBR Event. We were thrilled to go. So exciting to watch the professional bull riders. The staff the center were great and used all safety precautions. It was a good night in Texas!!
Great rodeo. These guys are the best. Non-stop action. Highly recommended for anyone who likes rodeo!
We made it a family day at the PBR and we all LOVED it. We were not expecting all the pyrotechnics but it made it that much more exciting! Congrats Dalton on one hell of a ride!
Everyone at the event was spectacular except for security. We had a bag that was too big and I understand that but two other people had bags just as big and they were allowed to take it. I tried going back out to help my mom who had the bag but was told no because I could be trying to get drunk and come back. Other than that the people inside the venue were great.
The event started exactly on time and finished exactly 2 hours later. We wished and it would’ve gone on for longer because we were having so much fun. The writers were amazing their athletic ability to get thrown off and get back up was so impressive. The guys in red distracting the bowls so they wouldn’t hurt to throne riders were quick the entertainment wasn’t Thesy Astec it was an all in all out fun event appropriate for all ages and all walks of life. This was my first PBR event and it definitely won’t be my last
