PBR: Professional Bull Riders on Tour
For a rodeo rider, trying to master a feisty horse is tough enough, a task not to be taken lightly, but bearing down on a big bull increases the scariness quotient considerably. That's one of the things that makes watching a pro bull rider so compelling — it's thrilling and frightening in equal measure as you marvel at the riders' skills while praying that they make it out unscathed.
These days, when it comes to bull riding, it's all about PBR: Professional Bull Riders. The organization started back in 1992 as a grassroots effort spearheaded by a handful of riders with a vision for what the sport could offer to fans. PBR grew by leaps and bounds over the decades, and by the 2010s they were sponsoring three major tours every year, adding up to hundreds of events with millions of dollars in prizes being awarded annually.
Needless to say, attending a PBR event means watching the best bull riders in the business strutting their stuff. Over the years, champs like J.B. Mauney, Kody Lostroh, Justin McBride, Adriano Moraes, Chris Shivers, and Tuff Hedeman have all distinguished themselves as decorated heroes of the PBR, giving all the rest a high standard to which they could aspire. And each of their tours offer fans the opportunity to catch some bull riding history in the making, be it the Unleash the Beast Series that ends with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, The Velocity Tour that showcases the rising stars of the PBR, or the Touring Pro Division split into Western, Central, and Eastern regions.
Whichever PBR competition you end up catching, there's one common thread. You're guaranteed to see some world-class athletes reaching deep inside themselves to tap into the best of their talents and give rodeo lovers an unforgettable experience.
Wonderful American experience for Me, my son and Grandson. Length, just right, gifts to audience good idea. Should show a photo of the Bull and rating. Then award the winning Bull at the End. More competition is good . Get the crowd pulling for the Bull Too!
I reached out several times via email and by phone regarding the transfer of our tickets due to illness. No one ever responded to my emails and I was unable to transfer the tickets I had paid top dollar for. I am sure the event was wonderful but Ticketmaster failed in customer service!!
From the seats, location, music choice, staff helping me on the ticket error situation and to the whole rodeo crew at all levels (including the bull riders, bulls, announcers, rodeo clown, bullfighters, chute rope pullers, and border patrol staff, as well as the men who serve our country to protect USA and the people) as it was an OUTSTANDING performance for a great first life time experience!
It was exhilarating from beginning to end. This is a must see!!

The fire, smoke and music really enhanced the event. We loved seeing the competition back in San Antonio. It was nostalgic as we took my son to the PBR event that occurred a few years back and he remembered, loved it.

PBR Whisky Velocity was phenomenal! So glad that we can get at least one rodeo in the area! Now we just need to drag the PRCA down here for the circuit.
Well planned event. So nice to come out and support the bull riders. These guys are amazing. Everyone from the announcers to the event staff people were wonderful. We haven't been to one of these in a long time. So going again and supporting the riders was a real joy. The bulls were athletes and gave the riders a run for their money. Looks like everyone managed to leave all in one piece LOL LOL Just loads of fun. The young children watching the event loved it. Thank you so much for a wonderful night!!!
Best event ever. My mom is 84 and she had the time.of her life! Can't wait for the next Rodeo event!!!

I was in the first row and so close to the "stalls" for the bulls. Up close and personal. However, sitting in the foldable chairs was too close to each other. I was disappointed that the riders didn't line up to sign my hat. Otherwise, great show!
We actually purchased our tickets when we arrived at the att center. We were unsure if there were any tickets left but it took about 5 minutes to purchase the tickets because i had to reset my password but it was worth going to the rodeo. Amazing show. The staff were nice.
I’m a big fan of the PBR and was so excited when I heard they were coming to San Antonio Hats of to the guys that ride these massive bulls this is definitely one of the toughest sports out there you guys are amazing!!!
Everything was so awesome! The cool fire design the put on the ground at the beginning was really cool. Then the Bull riding was amazing! This was my first time to a PBR event and I absolutely loved it! Keep up the good work everyone!

It's always a good time at a PBR event. Lots of action and excitement. If you've never been to a PBR event I highly recommend going.

My husband and I moved to VA from CO. We used to go to this type of event all the time. We miss going to them. This brought so many good memories back. Can't wait to go to another one.
The production is a world-class event. The riders are amazing, music is motivational, and the bulls are awesome to see live; great fun for the family.
