PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue on Tour

Since its debut in 2013, the animated TV series PAW Patrol has captured kids' imagination and tickled their fancy in equal amounts by basing every episode around the can't-miss combination of cute dogs and exciting adventures.

Ryder is the young boy in charge of the canine crew, sending them off on a different mission to aid someone in trouble on each episode. Firefighting dalmatian Marshall, construction expert and English bulldog Rubble, German shepherd spy Chase, recycling mutt Rocky, aquatic rescue Labrador Zuma, and aviator cockapoo Skye are the charter members of the PAW Patrol.

They've been a staple of children's television fare for several seasons now, becoming a phenomenon in the process, with everything from a line of toys to Halloween costumes. Considering the amount of love kids have shown for the series season after season, it would have been a shame not to bring those characters to the stage and offer the show's most passionate fans an opportunity to connect with their heroes in a whole new way.

PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue takes everybody's favorite rescue pups and all their familiar friends and places them in a live onstage adventure, taking the squad off the screen and putting them right in front of your eyes.

The action revolves around the Great Adventure Bay Race. When key participant Mayor Goodway disappears before the event, Ryder calls upon his furry pals to find her and to take her place in the race if the situation demands.

Along the way, a whole bunch of the other colorful characters that inhabit the PAW Patrol universe pop up, including Farmer Yumi, Mayor Humdinger, Cap'n Turbot, Chickaletta, and more. It all adds up to an exciting, unique experience for kids accustomed to encountering the PAW Patrol crew only in their living rooms until now.

    Good, not great

by Rathika on 11/27/19Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

The show itself seemed wonderful. My toddler loves Paw Patrol and for her birthday I bought these tickets. I splurged and bought front row floor seats and expected a fantastic experience. However, the seats had a partially obstructed view and we couldn’t see half of what was happening on stage. The play area and the visit/photos woth Ryder and the pups was wonderful.

    Not worth the money

by Angie on 11/27/19Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

Was good for kids under 3 years old, but it was pretty boring for kids 5 and up. The show was ok, but too short. Not worth the money, tickets were too expensive.

    Disappointment

by K. B. on 11/27/19Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

Took 3 grandchildren - the show started just after 6:00 finished At 7:15 with a 15 minute break. Total cost around 450.00. The show itself was less than captivating. I would not recommend attending.

    Poor

by Sylvia on 11/27/19Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

The sound was so awful. We couldn’t hear anything they were singing. To top it off we couldn’t even see the full stage. I wouldn’t recommend this event to anyone.

    Great show for the family

by Mel b on 11/27/19Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

We took our 2.5 year old and as his first show it was perfect. Very family friendly event for kids of all ages and interactive! There is an intermission which allowed for washroom breaks with the little ones. Very thoughtful and great venue location...not a bad seat in the house.

    So Much Fun

by B Baker on 11/26/19Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

Exceeded expectations! Was cleverly written and a lively event start to finish. 45 minutes of show time (after 15 min intermission) was perfect for my 3 year olds attention span. He loved it, and Mom and Dad had fun too! Great for ages 2-5!

    It was alright

by Liana on 11/26/19Paramount Fine Foods Centre - Mississauga

If I had forward facing seats it would have been better we were on the side and we couldn’t get the full experience . Seems only the floor seats got interaction. Items were so expensive popcorn 15 dollars rip off . But it was ok.

    Upsetting

    by H. on 11/23/19Leon's Centre - Kingston

The show was very short for my opinion for the price that we had to pay for tickets and I will never buy a presale ticket for a show like that again since our seats were not very good or close

    Amazing

by Jilly on 11/22/19Leon's Centre - Kingston

My granddaughter has a visual impairment and they moved us closer to the stage to help her see better. It was a fantastic show and both toddlers thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

    Community theater quality, professional prices

    by Rick on 11/20/19

First, the show began 10 minutes late and had a 20 minute intermission, so the 90 minute show is probably a bit less than an hour and is significantly overpriced. Production quality is poor, dancing and acting were substandard as well. Even by the low standards of live entertainment for a preschool audience, this was a poor quality show.

    Great!

    by L. C. on 11/5/19Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Rasy to get to. Right off highway. Well marked inside and out. Not a huge theater so good to take a 2 year old. Helpful, enthusiastic staff!

    My granddaughter loved it.

by debbie on 10/31/19Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

The performance was great. Disappointed in the fact that I bought front row seats and they had me sit 7 rows back because of requirements of the show, however people were sitting in 4 of the rows in from of me. They should have just made everybody move back the two rows that were required and then I still would not have had anyone in front of us. Very poor management on Hippodromes part and the "show" not letting them know before tickets were sold. The VIP was not worth the extra money especially when the adult has to pay that price as well and I expected alot more for the extra 160.00 (2).

    Great show!

by A. on 10/30/19Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

This was my three year old grandson's first theater experience and it was so successful! He was absolutely mesmerized and did not want to leave when the show was over. It was full of great songs and encouraged audience participation. As an adult, I appreciated the clever way the pups were portrayed.
