Didn't stop laughing the entire night, and he took the time after to meet everyone. Already planning on going to see him again when he's back in town.

by Tank72 on 3/7/11Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

Pauly was great, and he had some good acts with him too. Well worth it. Pauly signed autographs and took pictures with fans. You could tell he was tired, but he stayed until everyone there was accomidated.

  • Pauly Shore has lost a fan!!!

by Lola84 on 1/14/11Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

Pauly Shores "Oyster" show @ the Palms was HORRIBLE and UNORGANIZED! If I could have gotten my money back, I would have left sometime during the hour of it supposedly was suppose to start. Yes, that's right the show was suppose to start @ 8 and didn't start until 9 pm. And only then it was an unknown guy that was still trying to hold up the actual show and then this other guy that supposedly won a contest to open up for the show. When Pauly Shore did come onto the stage, he announced that this show was going to be taped for an upcoming date on Showtime. Which was never told to us before hand, not even when picking up my tickets at will call. So in return, every time they made a mistake someone would come from backstage or the actual comedian would yell out cut. In return we listened to some of the scenes over and over again. There were suppose to be 10 famous comedians during the show and a few of them didn't even show. Such as Carrot Top which was one of the main reasons why I wanted to see the show. Another comedian Tom Green in the beginning was on a projector saying that he was not going to be there because of his gf being sick. Ended up being in the show, which was exciting when he came out but only was on stage for less then a minute to sing a song that seemed made up on the spot about sausage?!?! And when leaving the stage, we thought he would be back during the show. The only person that was actually good was April Macie that appeared on Howard Stern. We were in the theatre for over 4 hours (8 to 12:20 am) and I would say probably a hour of it, was there a comedian on stage. During each comedian there was @ least 10 minutes of nothing.

  • call it a show that happens to have pauly shore

by mollyb116 on 1/14/11Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

It was not a Pauly Shore performance but a long drawn out method of producing a Showtime special. Long boring periods of forcing audience reactions, setting up bits and people running on and off stage. Went to see him, not this circus! Went so long missed a client function and still left before it was over. 3 hours of our lives gone.

  • Funny!

Semi Precious Weapons rocked!!!! And the comedians were really fun!

  • Pauly Shore Vegas is my Oyster Disappointing

by dabadger on 1/11/11Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

I went to see Pauly Shore's Vegas is my Oyster show at the Palms on Sunday 1/9/11. At the very best all I can say is disappointing. There were moments of funny stand up but beginning with the fact that this was a taping for a Showtime special, that was not disclosed in the description of the show, to the total lack of professionalism throughout the production I was left with feeling taken advantage of and wishing I could get my money back. With a compilation of performers you can expect to have some that don't meet your particular taste so I was expecting that. However the audience was subjected to numerous delays and periods of not knowing what the heck was going on. Numerous technical issues and what I thought would be at most a 2 hour show turned into 4 total hours half of which was waiting for something to happen. If you weren't paying a premium price or the show was free (as it should have been for what it actually was) you don't mind waiting because that is what you signed up for in the beginning. Overall I think Pauly and the Palms should be more forthcoming in their advertising of the show so attendee's knew what they were getting into.

  • Great Show!!

by judy777 on 1/11/11Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed this show. I couldn't believe what a bargain it was as well. I paid $50 for my ticket and felt like I saw a show that should have been at least double the ticket price. Yes, it was being filmed for Showtime which always causes a few snafus but, everything always quickly got back on track. The unexpected cherry on top was the music. The Electrolightz and Semi-Precious Weapons were both amazing. Thanks Pauly for a great show!

  • Weird, funny, weirder and funnier

by TheFrisco on 1/11/11Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

The show started late, the MC was fun, then Pauly Shores was funny but it took a bunch of weird turns when they redid certain takes what seemed for the TV recording ... not sure if they were real retakes or if this was part of the script. Towards the end, or what seemed the end, suddenly the stage was empty, Pauly and his guests were gone and nobody knew what was up ... real weird. In any case, it was a fun show, laughed a lot and had a good time ... just expect some weirdness but hey it's Pauly Shore and Andy Dick, so why was I surprised. Did see Andy Dick in the bar at 5:30am when I went for the airport ;-) ... back for more or still there?

  • Pauly Shore is Hilarious!

by Coffy on 9/27/10The Rapids Theatre - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Pauly was on his game at this show!!! We had a blast and the crowd was way into it, which made it that much more fun! Even his warm-up guy, Sandy Danto (hope I spelled that right!) was batting 1000---check this show out if it comes to your town, you won't be sorry!!!

  • Good if you are a Pauly Shore Fan

by SouthieThomas on 2/15/10Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

That's about it. For a regular comedy show I'd say it was okay.

  • High school humor.

    by Rap11 on 2/14/10Hu Ke Lau - ChicopeeRating: 2 out of 5

For an experienced comedian, Pauly degraded his act by using high school humor. The F word was used ineffectively in many areas of the act. He has a very funny act, but messed it all up by using this language in places that it didn't even make sense. He had us laughing from the humor but it was hard at times because the jokes sometimes almost fell apart when he threw in the language.

  • Blast From the Past

by Jyrm on 2/13/10Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

I thought seeing Pauly Shore after so many years would be cool. I wondered if he still had it or would he be another old school dude just trying to hang on. Well, the man has still got. He was very funny with some interesting takes on things. The only things that took me aback was a portion of the skit about President Obama. As an African American male, I just didn't find it funny. Maybe I'm just too close to it or maybe he was just pandering to a Boston crowd. Also, he used the N-word a few times and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Nonetheless, overall, I enjoyed the show and would not discourage anyone from attending.

no wonder hollywood stopped giving him movie parts, he has too much "sex" in his head. Everything was sex talk or sexual inuendos.........

  • Pauly ollie

by tkotkotko on 2/13/10Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

It was great to see this comedian live and get past the weasel character that has made him famous. He has a the stage presence of a seasoned comic and he delivered the laughs. I'm looking forward to his future shows and movies that he has lined up. And honestly, everybody loves the weasel.

  • PAULY SHORE HAS MATURED AND BETTER WITH AGE.

by COMICVETERAN on 2/13/10Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Pauly Shore forty-two now? Hard to believe but yes and he's matured nicely. Sober and back from a long streak of being out of the showbiz loop, he was on stage for 44 minutes with a blend of current events, self depravation, quick idol chit chat and one, audience member mockery toward a well endowed front row female which was hysterical. Unique about Pauly was he was just himself, reminiscing briefly about his early movies and making fun of his popularity, or lack of, at one point asking the audience how many of us told people we had tickets to see Pauly Shore who then asked "why would you go see that loser?"

  • Pauly

Loved it. And met Pauly's dad! And the acts beforehand are hilarious. Definitely worth it.
