About

It isn’t often that one concert ticket allows you to witness two groundbreaking artists share the stage. That’s why when Paul Simon and Sting announced that they were embarking on a tour together, excitement for the event was sky high. Not only will the two living legends perform together, but they’ll also treat the crowd to separate solo sets of their classic tunes. Both artists and their immensely talented backing bands are famed for delivering masterful live performances utilizing multi-ethnic instrumentation and world rhythms inspired by music around the globe.  Paul Simon, of course first made his mark as an American songwriting legend as one half of the duo Simon and Garfunkle, yielding timeless classics like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Scarborough Fair” and “Sounds of Silence.” He embarked on a successful solo career and produced the critically acclaimed albums One Trick Pony and Graceland among others, as well as the hits “Slip Slidin’ Away,” “Still Crazy After All these Years” and “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” Sting first gained international attention as the lead singer, songwriter, and bass player of ‘80s rock band The Police—a groundbreaking act that produced a string of hit songs, including “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Message In a Bottle,” “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.” Like Paul Simon, Sting also enjoys a phenomenally successful solo career which has spanned decades, releasing acclaimed albums including Nothing Like the Sun, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, and Ten Summoner’s Tales, and topping the charts with hits like “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” “Fields of Gold” and “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You.” Needless to say, demand for Paul Simon and Sting tour tickets is high, as they’ll gain lucky fans access to what is sure to be an unforgettable concert experience.

Sting and Paul Simon were wonderful together. Having both their bands on stage created an energy that was electric! So much more than when they tour alone. I loved it!!!

    Sting/Simon top notch

by cynabarr on 3/20/14Madison Square Garden - New York

This concert was amazing. Sting and Simon have such pure voices they sound as good as they did when they first started. They moved seamlessly from one song to another and shared the stage beautifully. Singing together on some songs and separating for a set it was just glorious. I hope they put out a cd of this tour I would love to relive it.

Never been so bored at a concert in my life.

by Cathyb1955 on 3/20/14 Amway Center - Orlando

Most of this concert was a snooze fest. The most entertaining part was watching the drunk girl two rows in front of us trying to dance through the whole thing. Most of the songs were so slow and unknown it was hard to stay awake for the good songs. When they finally hit a song that the crowd actually knew and wanted to hear it was too little too late. Both performers sounded good but song choice was awful. Paul Simon changed the tune of most of his songs to the point that some (you, me and Julio for example) were unrecognizable. Overall it was just boring. Maybe because it was the last show of the tour they seemed tired and just going through the motions, maybe they are just too old for touring...

Concert was alot of bang for the buck!

by RAR12 on 3/19/14 Amway Center - Orlando

Sting and Paul Simon were an unlikely but friendly pair. The concert began a bit delayed, however they made up for it with an over 2.5 hr constant string of music fav's from both artists.

Simon and String were both awesome!!!!

by Anonymous on 3/19/14 Amway Center - Orlando

For these two to join forces was such a great idea. I adore both of these artist so I did not want to miss the chance to see them together. The stage was packed with instruments for each of their respective bands. At one point I counted 14 musicians on stage. I loved how they would sing together, then one would slip away as the other sang alone and vice versa. It made for a seamless night of excellent music.!!!!!!

    Sting & Paul Simon

by jerseyblitz on 3/19/14 Amway Center - Orlando

first of all the musicians in these two bands were unbelievable. I bought my two 20 something year old kids....and they thought it was great. I let them know that hearing Paul Simon at 72 years of age was a chance in a lifetime and historic. my favorite part was the three song medley that started with sting singing "bridge over troubled water" and included "late in the evening". just a real memorable night. As a musician, I was impressed with the musicality of all the instrumentalist and singers.

    A spectacular show!

by Leeloo11 on 3/19/14 Amway Center - Orlando

Had no idea what to expect. The show was about 2-3/4 hours, with no intermission. Simon and Sting started out together, with musicians from both of their bands on stage. They sang some of each other's songs - beautifully. Then they took turns going offstage. Whoever was left did a handful of their own songs, then the other performer came back, etc. The musicians/backup vocals were terrific. The whole show was so good. I've seen Sting before, but always had trouble getting tickets to see Paul Simon/Simon and Garfunkle. If you have the opportunity to see either or both of these performers take it.

    What a show!

by BMac1966 on 3/19/14 Amway Center - Orlando

It was two of the all time greats for three hours straight playing all of their best songs, what else can you say? Sting absolutely killed it on Bridge Over Troubled Waters!! Best song of the night in a night full of great ones!

Sting & Paul Simon was amazing!

by Hun50 on 3/19/14 Amway Center - Orlando

No opening act, Sting and Paul walked out on the stage and just started singing. They sang duets and Sting's solos were unbelievable! Paul still has a good voice and performed numerous hits. This was the last show of this tour and we traveled from TN to Orlando to see it. Well worth our time!

Good concert, starting 30 mins later than it should, but both Sting and Paul were apologetic. Both Sting and Paul had tremendous energy and song well.

    Legends

by sachasistah on 3/19/14 Amway Center - Orlando

To see two poetic legends perform together was thrilling - their songs moved me through my lifetime one note at a time. Beautiful choices of favorites, wonderful combination pieces and awesome tributes to other influences. A night that is at the tippy top of my list of pleasures. Two pieces of feedback - why not have bigger screens in such a large venue? and the first 3-4 songs weren't balanced - the music and bass over powered their voices.
