About

It isn’t often that one concert ticket allows you to witness two groundbreaking artists share the stage. That’s why when Paul Simon and Sting announced that they were embarking on a tour together, excitement for the event was sky high. Not only will the two living legends perform together, but they’ll also treat the crowd to separate solo sets of their classic tunes. Both artists and their immensely talented backing bands are famed for delivering masterful live performances utilizing multi-ethnic instrumentation and world rhythms inspired by music around the globe.  Paul Simon, of course first made his mark as an American songwriting legend as one half of the duo Simon and Garfunkle, yielding timeless classics like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Scarborough Fair” and “Sounds of Silence.” He embarked on a successful solo career and produced the critically acclaimed albums One Trick Pony and Graceland among others, as well as the hits “Slip Slidin’ Away,” “Still Crazy After All these Years” and “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” Sting first gained international attention as the lead singer, songwriter, and bass player of ‘80s rock band The Police—a groundbreaking act that produced a string of hit songs, including “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Message In a Bottle,” “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.” Like Paul Simon, Sting also enjoys a phenomenally successful solo career which has spanned decades, releasing acclaimed albums including Nothing Like the Sun, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, and Ten Summoner’s Tales, and topping the charts with hits like “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” “Fields of Gold” and “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You.” Needless to say, demand for Paul Simon and Sting tour tickets is high, as they’ll gain lucky fans access to what is sure to be an unforgettable concert experience.

sting & paul simon blended seemlessly (stimon ?)

by stellasblues on 3/24/14BB&T Center - Sunrise

this was a textbook example of 2 great musicians respecting each others craft & honoring it by letting the other sing some of their songs. additionally the bands for each were tight & superb musicians. a truly great all around collaboration that we were fortunate to see.

    Sting was amazing.

by Sillyvanma on 3/24/14Air Canada Centre - Toronto

The last time I saw Sting live in concert was almost 10 years ago. I have waited for Jim to come back and was so excited when I heard he was on tour again. When the tickets went on same in the day of my Bday I knew I was meant to watch the concert! I purchased 2 tickets before I even knew who I was taking! I was in awe the whole time he was in stage. A real dream come true for me. He is always in form and hearing that signature voice live, let's just say there aren't words to describe how I felt. I hope he comes back.

    Surprassed my highest expectations!

by rynoelway on 3/23/14Verizon Center - Washington

I saw Sting two years ago with his Symphonicity tour, and it was the best I had ever seen -- and I've seen a LOT of concerts in my life. So I had high expectations for this event. I like Paul Simon's music, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan per se. The show was over 2.5 hours nonstop of great classics (fantastic playlist) with positive energy. The way they played off each other, sometimes singing each other's songs too, was just wonderfully done. I want to buy the DVD if it ever comes out!

Sting and Paul Simon, Jacksonville, FL 16th March

by daviddodd on 3/23/14 Amway Center - Orlando

In a word “brilliant”… two words: "really brilliant”… I have not enjoyed a concert so much since the 60’s (perhaps with the exception of Pink Floyd at Red Rocks… perhaps…). The pairing of these two superstars was perfect. I was surprised that they spent much of the show on stage together, with just a few truly solo pieces thrown in… the work on their mutual songs was inspired - perfect harmonies and perfect blending of their voices and styles. Happily, the audience ranged from children to serious seniors… everybody on their feet dancing and singing along (some with moist eyes… guess who!!). It was also the first time I have seen my usually-reserved wife uninhibitedly ‘rocking-out’ at a performance… so it wasn’t just me - or the 70-year-old, rather plump, lady to our left who danced and sang the night away too... I shouldn’t forget to give top kudos to the combined musicians from both backing bands… each one of them were spectacularly talented… Truly amazing… Thank you Mr. Simon & Mr. Summers

    Sting & Simon...

by froggem on 3/22/14 Amway Center - Orlando

Everything we thought it would be and more! A mix of old and new songs that pleased us to no end. The stage energy was FANTASTIC...Sting's live version of Desert Rose was fantastic; Simon's Me & Julio was over the top.

Paul Simon & Sting - amazing times two

by patbscrooge on 3/22/14 Amway Center - Orlando

We saw the last concert in the series and it was simply amazing from start to finish. Both performers were in great voice and high spirits. The musicians were breathtaking - they filled the stage, playing multiple instruments. One even played a washboard at one point. Paul Simon and Sting performed separately and together on stage, singing each other's songs as well as their own. Lighting was perfection. This was a major event and if they tour together again, make all efforts to see them. Best.concert.ever.

    Sting and Simon were great!

by j45man on 3/22/14 Amway Center - Orlando

Great combination of two outstanding musicians. They worked through each others songs as though they were their own. The sound was huge......the complement of up to 15 musicians was an enormous sound and the sound quality in the stadium was better than I'd expected. A great venue.

This gig was turned up to 11!!

by Lamby180 on 3/22/14Madison Square Garden - New York

I had booked this for the last night of my trip to New York with my girlfriend and what a way to end the trip. It was an amazing gig in a great venue. There was no support acts needed. Paul Simon and Sting came out and played together, then Sting played, then both of them, then Paul Simon, then both of them, then Sting, then both of them, then Paul Simon, then both of them. I'd forgotton that these giants of the music industry had so many great songs over the years and made sure we got our moneys worth and much more. They were playing for about 3 hours with no breaks. I don't know if they have a tour of England planned, but I'd say if you are only going to one gig this year go to see these guys. It's a fantastic musical experience, a must for any music lover.

    Simon and Sting were phenominal!!!

by winna1 on 3/21/14 Amway Center - Orlando

The richness of the two artists and the beautiful paring and sharing of their compositions was a musical feast. "An embarrassment of riches" to have both of these legends together, graciously complementing each others styles and personalities. I want to add that the 2 constantly screaming and whistling women behind us they were totally unaware that the pleasure of having front floor seats was in hearing and experiencing the artists.

    1Stage + 2 Legends= One Amazing Performance

by UStadium2017 on 3/20/14 Amway Center - Orlando

The merging of Paul Simon and Sting was a night to remember. The format was a great way to present with their respective catalogs. The use of their bands added to the quality. Both performers showed a great deal of enthusiasm and had great vocal quality.

    Sting amazing

by cupcake1024 on 3/20/14 Amway Center - Orlando

The bands drowned out Sting & Paul Simon. Their voices sounded muffled. The show was set up poorly. They sang a few songs then Sting sang. Paul Simon joined, sang a few songs together then Paul Simon was on. They did this a few times. They should have sang one or two songs together then devoted a bulk amount of time to each performer then closed the show singing one or two songs together. Sting was incredible singing Bridge Over Troubled Water. Paul Simon seemed to rush through each song.

    Loved Paul Simon & Sting!

by Donnasenior on 3/20/14BB&T Center - Sunrise

Was so happy to see Paul Simon - he still has his powerful voice and played to please the audience. Sting was also very lively - he put on a great show and seemed to be enjoying himself in the process. The two of them did a great job harmonizing. My only disappointment with the show was the God-awful lighting. We were up in the higher seats and throughout the night white lights glared in our faces. Several members of the audience were doing the same thing - holding their hands in front of their eyes to shield themselves from the annoyance. Wish they would have corrected it during the show.
