  • Still Very Funny After All These Years!

by GoValGal on 2/7/15Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 4 out of 5

After an unexpected and unknown "man with a guitar" opening act, Paul Reiser took the stage and brought the audience to life. It was Mad About You goes stand-up and now it was about his real life family that includes two sons. Very funny, very spot-on and he was very respectful while making light of the ins and outs of couplehood and fatherhood. I found him to be incredibly funny, refreshingly honest, sweetly genuine and PG-13, which is really very clean in comparison to what most comedians feel they have to deliver to be funny. Paul can be hysterical with even the simplest of material because he is real, his timing is impeccable and well let's be honest girls, he's still hot, too! An aging Paul has lost nothing but maybe a bit of his hair. Other than that, he's still got it!

  • Thoroughly enjoyed it!

by LoisLaane on 2/3/15Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

I had no expectations set for this show other than reading the reviews on this site. I had nothing to do that night so I picked up a ticket to see Paul Reiser. I am glad I did! His set was funny and refreshingly clean. I already posted a positive recommendation to my social media friends to go see him if he is coming to a theatre near you. His wit was perfectly relatable to us 40/50ish "old people" as he put it.

  • An enjoyable evening with Paul Reiser

by RKees on 2/3/15Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 4 out of 5

Paul was very entertaining as well as personable. In his own unique style, he strung together a multitude topics, thoughts, and observations with the energetic pace of an ADHD-afflicted individual who has neglected his medication. It was like spending an evening with Paul Buchman himself from Mad About You. Very little discernible difference between the person and the character. Highly enjoyable.

  • Very happy we went

by Philboyd on 2/3/15Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

We loved the show. Paul was spot-on, with great energy, very funny. He was great with the crowd, especially those in the upper side boxes. Hard to believe that he was away from stand-up for 20 years. He's a natural.

Funny from the beginning to the end. And, not a bad word ever. It was all about us - the 45+ year old people. Our aches, our loves, and our changes. All told in such a humorous manner.

  • great standup comic

by Stansky on 3/18/14The Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino - MashantucketRating: 5 out of 5

He performed for 1.5 hours. Wonderful stage persona, very funny stories. Not really dirty, a few bad words. You can tell he has been doing standup for years. At the end he asked for questions from the audience and his responses very quick and clever. The warm up pianist was so-so. played 5 or 6 popular songs, but not that impressive.

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening with Paul Reiser. His humor is original yet universal so everyone can relate to it. We laughed for an entire hour and it was very healing. I think all comedians are great healers!

  • Paul Reiser has still got it

by NotEasilyOffended on 11/19/12Cobb's Comedy Club - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

It's a little sad to see a guy who once had a top-rated TV show and a bestselling book back working at a two-drink-minimum comedy club. But the sadness goes away quickly, replaced by side-splitting laughter. Just as he once was a keen observer of the stuff we all go through in our 20s and 30s -- dating, marriage, babies, etc. -- he is now a keen observer of the common travails of middle-age. And as always he has a great ear for language and a great eye for the absurdities of modern life. Definitely don't miss him if he's doing a show in your town.

  • Get Paul Reiser back on TV!

We have missed Paul Reiser the past decade. TV needs a great comedy actor who speaks to our generation. Hope to see you there soon!
