  • One of the best standups

by RustyZ on 5/17/16New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Paul Reiser took a 20 year break in doing stand up comedy but there was no rust in his performance this past Saturday. He had the audience laughing from start to finish. He's one of the funniest comedians going.

My husband knew Paul when they were students at Binghamton University so when I saw the tickets go on sale I knew we had to go. The evening was just fantastic! Paul was simply hilarious-- from the first line to the last. Judging by the audience reaction, we weren't the only ones who thought so. His humor appeals to everyone. Please have him back! In addition the venue was perfect-- we felt like we were in a club and he was talking to us.

Mr. Riser is a very talented comic however his performance on Saturday failed to reach the high level that I was expecting; he avoided commenting about the national political debates that are consuming our electorate; he came to a very politically oriented venue and his material was filled mainly with wife and family jokes which was more topical when he first entered the comic arena earlier in his career. That he doesn't need to be profane is a plus. But his material was stale and lacked present day issues of which there are a million. One needs only to view CNN or NBC for topics which demand comment by a talented performer.

If you are over 40 you simply have to see this show. Simple put, I think I was laughing at every thing he said. They say the best laughter is when there is truth behind it. Paul is up there with the best. I wish I had a way to personally thank him for an excellent show.

    by firsttimer1979 on 11/10/15Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Paul Reiser had my wife and I laughing almost the entire time. He is truly a gifted comedian. He is not extremely vulgar with his comedy, which is quite refreshing. If he is performing anywhere near you, I would most definitely recommend going to see him.

  • PAUL REISER - Back on top after all these years!

by NOVA2015 on 9/22/15The Event Center at Hollywood Casino - Charles TownRating: 4 out of 5

I truly enjoyed PAUL REISER's performance at Laugh for the Cure. He was witty, funny, and very entertaining. His material was up to date and fresh. His warm-up act was also very good. He had good, clean humor that was not abrasive in any way. Almost no foul language which is amazing in today's comedic environment. Paul engaged with the audience and was very personable. He had a question and answer session at the end. I also recommend his books - Babyhood, Couplehood, and Familyhood. He is an EXCELLENT writer and comedian. Great job Paul! Thanks for the laughs, and for a good cause too :)

If you were a fan of "Mad About You', this show is a "do not miss!". Paul Reiser is very funny and it turns out his comedy is pretty much what you saw on tv. He discussed life issues that concern all of us in a fairly "clean-mouthed" manner - there was some profanity, but it wasn't over the top and it wasn't vulgar. After his routine was finished, he actually took questions from the audience, and that led him to more hilarious stories of things that have happened to him, so he was on-stage for at least 20 minutes after his original routine was over.

Paul Reiser was great. A very good value compared to other acts. This reminded me of a Jerry Seinfeld show.

  • Fantastic!

by Daddy2BrandonAndKimi on 6/2/15Cobb's Comedy Club - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely a great show! Reiser is completely Reiser, just older. And it turns out, that makes the whole thing even Reiserer. Had the best seats in the house too (right at the stage). The "table upgrade" was WELL worth it!

I thought the show was hilarious! I haven't seen Paul Reiser in anything for a while, but I absolutely loved his stand up. I would go back again for sure. Great night!
