I went with several friends to see a polished DJ do his stuff..well having my Buzz day's in the rear view I guess I should have expected a resident DJ who's spun around the world to go hard. He was totally in control and you took a ride from his perspective Huge Sounds, Crazy good lighting and non stop Dance. I guess I'm heading out when he returns.

  • Potential

by MillionFaces on 9/23/19Alien Research Center - HikoRating: 5 out of 5

Though the Event went through some growing pains coming into existance. I believe as a whole it has the potential to become a great yearly tradition. Also as always Paul Oakenfold knocked it outta the park with his performance.

  • 10/10

by Rachel on 1/22/19RYSE Nightclub - St. CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

Paul was awesome. I danced all night long. I love that he played a lot of original music, but when he didn't it was other EDM music and not top 40. 10/10 would recommend his show. I would go see his again.

  • Paul Oakenfold is old school cool!!!

by AmandaWinnick on 5/3/17Ryse Nightclub - St. CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

I'm so glad I went and checked out Paul Oakenfold at Ryse last weekend. He was everything I remember him being from back in the day and even has some new stuff that's pretty great too!! Had we been anywhere else (music festival type show)- he would have played for hours!! The crowd was loving it and the place was packed by the end of the show!!

  • Great Set by Paul Oakenfold!!

by saxy15 on 7/6/16The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 5 out of 5

As one of the pioneers of electronic dance music in general, I was expecting a great set, and Mr. Oakenfold delivered! He fused EDM and Trance together for an enjoyable set! I highly recommend following Paul Oakenfold, and attending his sets!

  • The Legend Delivers

by Romanista on 7/6/16The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 5 out of 5

What can I say, when it comes to DJ's, after legendary status, there's Oakenfold status! No matter how many times you see him, he does not disappoint. This was the first pool party with the legend for me, and I only wish I could do it again. TS is all about the pool and a lot of space to turn into a dance floor, along with a huge space in front of the stage that usually begins to fill up as the shadow from the resort cools the area as the main act takes over. Music was plenty loud on this occasion although TS sometimes has it turned down too much, especially for the headliner.

  • Oakenfold Brillant!!

by DMLady71 on 7/6/16The Pool at Talking Stick Resort - ScottsdaleRating: 4 out of 5

Oakenfold show was brilliant. With a little problem with nature, the sun's glare he continued to put on an outstanding show.

  • BLISS

by Gingerflave on 5/15/16WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Bliss was utterly fantastic. Can't quite go past that!!! Definitely would go again!

  • Bliss : The Awakening - Amazing

    by NeverEnough38 on 5/10/16WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly there was nothing at this show that wasn't perfect. USC went all out to cover every detail. The sound quality was better than any USC show I have ever been to. The production was insane, better than paradiso. The vibe in the crowd was excellent. The line up was absolutely unreal.

  • The best USC event to date!

by IIIThreat on 5/10/16WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better... USC's first ever all-trance massive included an international lineup that made even non-trance fans take a second listen. Everything from the lights and lasers, to the organization of the event, crowd control, and the after-event cleanup was done professionally, and kicked off without a hitch. This needs to happen again.

  • Paul Oakendfold Rocked it!!!!

by PuertoRicanNina on 7/3/11The Rave - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

Wow!!!!!!! He rocked it!!! There were 2 DJ's prior to Paul coming on who were good but Paul rocked it! The vibe was great! He interacted with the crowd! He started right at midnight and played until 2AM, no less! Needless to say, my husband and I danced the entire time!! The crowd was hyped, the sound system was great! It was an outsanding kick off to the July 4th weekend. If you like dance/electronic/techno- you'll love this show! By the way, someone else's review mentioned him coming on too late, my husband and I are both early birds also but we like his music so much-there was hardly a compromise- it was worth every minute!!! • Disapointing

    by Ashley906 on 5/29/11MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa - StatelineRating: 1 out of 5

The opening DJ was incredibly good and super fun. Oakenfold waited WAY too long to come on and then spun for about an hour and a half- he was so bad no one wad even there at the end!

  • this show sucked

by bigstyl on 12/2/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

Zen trainwrecked almost every transition...it was pathetic. No light show...I expected more from a children's school presentation of christmas. Paul was good...it's what he is known for...although no real light show here either...do they need more money to put on a real show or what?

  • by MariaAl on 11/10/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

I LOVE Paul Oakenfold. He def could've had a better DJ to start the nite off with but Paul, as usual, killed it!

  • Oakenfold was ELECTRIC

by DjBubblesBam on 11/9/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

Kickin beats from start to finish! Honestly we left after 3:30 and he was still going! The show was a leftover - overflow demand from a previous show is what we were told. The Ogden was an unbelievable venue and he made them have to repaint the place! We danced until I had blisters and I can still FEEL the music. Everytime I hear a car thumping by or a song with good beats - I flash back to POk now, it's crazy! Indoors is way different than out. I am a big fan! I and mine plan to attend any Oakenfold show we can get tickets for! Always good with bad... Zen didn't show up - so it was pretty lame until POk started. The staff at the Ogden is the BEST! Every single person I interacted with was way cool and respectful. Sometimes you don't get that even when paying the big bucks! Thanks to POk and Ogden (and TMaster) for making it a night we will NEVER forget!

  • Fun Night!

    by Lalala46and2 on 11/8/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

I loved Zen Freeman, I thought he really put on a good show. Then Paul came out and he def killed it! I've read a lot bout people saying he hides out by going to the back of stage, or doesn't play like he used to blah blah, but that was so not the case. He really communicated with the crowd and the energy was unfathomable. I had a really good time.

  • Okenfold

by RicheyD on 11/8/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 3 out of 5

I really like Paul's music & have never been to one of his shows. I thought the opener was good but played way too long! I know tech shows start later than usual but by the time Paul came out to play it was 12-12:30. So as a result i didnt feel satisfied with the amount of time he played. Good sound quality, and great people at the show. Overall i had a great time but wouldnt recomend buying tix for this show again because of the lack of play time. Peace!

  • Paul was very disappointing!!!

    by EmT31 on 11/8/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 3 out of 5

Doors opened at 8 pm, show was supposed to start at 9 pm. There was no music until almost 10:30 pm. When we asked what was going on, they said they were waiting for more people to show up. In my opinion, people aren't going to enter a silent venue to stand around and wait, especially when you are not allowed to leave and re-enter. Play the music and they will come!!! The opening act was great, he mixed some great music and I was impressed. However, Mr. Oakenfold did not come on stage until almost 12:30 am. He didn't play any of the songs he is known for or that most people are familiar with. He stood around and only did a little mixing. All in all, I was very disappointed with the concert. If Mr. Oakenfold wants a bigger crowd, he should have picked a different venue!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oakenfold at the Ogden, Devner 11--2010

by MikeyDMD on 11/7/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

This was one of the most dissappointing shows I have ever been to. Zen Freedman was a pretty decent DJ but he was on for over 2 hours! When Oakenfold took the stage , everyone was pretty much tired of waiting for him - which he didn't until about 12:30AM. Last call was at 1:30. Oakey was only on for 1 hour! Considering he has so much music to pull from - it wasn't long enough. It was a waste of $50. Ticketmaster - I hope you post this for all of Oakensfold's and your fans to see.

  • Half and Half

    by Cyanide666 on 11/7/10Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 3 out of 5

Paul Oakenfold did an amazing set and it was absolutely phenomenal to watch him spin. He knew how to read the crowd and he gave them what they wanted and kept the energy high. He did not disappoint from beginning to end. Zen Freeman was less than pleasurable to watch. During his set he train wrecked the beat about 9 times, lost the beat completely around 4 times and could not read the crowd to save his life. He had his sound levels set very badly to the point where the highs were so loud it was actually painful to listen to him play.
