  • PFT does it again!

by Tracy on 6/10/25Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was just such a fun time! PFT brought his particular brand of humor, creativity and generosity to Seattle and we were all the better for it. He also brought along an incredible set of talented folks to fill out the bill and wow, were they awesome. I left the show with a lighter step and a grin on my face. And who doesn't need that nowadays? If you've never seen PFT in action, take a chance on having a great time and just go see him. Go. Go. Just...go!

  • You will feel 100% better if you see this show

    by Lisa C on 5/6/25The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Hey go see Varietopia and Paul F. Tompkins. Just go because you won’t be disappointed. He is delightful, the musicians are so talented and Medusa and the other acts were top notch of all the notches. I felt 100% better afterwards.

  • A decent time with Paul

by L Money from Brooklyn, Yerrrrrrrr on 5/5/25Town Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Despite a less-than-stellar venue switch, the show went pretty well. The venue had a month to sort out the swapping of tickets, but it came down to hours before the show. As a result the show started late. Paul was great, as always. Funny and affable. He's one of my favorite people. The "variety"part of the show was weaker than I've seen in the past. I was hoping for a local comedy guest or another person to be on the show. The magician was fairly standard. The show band was fine, although they did hit some weak notes on the entry song "They Might Be Giants: Dr Worm."I could take or leave the other musical performer, Medusa. As someone who has seen PFT many, many times, I'd give this show a B.

  • Okay

by Wimminx on 5/1/25Barrymore Theatre - MadisonRating: 2 out of 5

It was an okay show. The first half was hilarious. Second half was meh. I bought these tickets as a gift for my fiancé. He loves PFT. He didn’t even want to stop and buy a tshirt on the way out. He was a little heartbroken.

  • Funny! Great Time!

Paul F. Tompkins wears the King Hat of live, improvised comedy, which makes for great podcasts. I've seen him 10+ times and loved every time. A PFT show is like a box of chocolates, you never know what's improvised next.

  • Fun time

by Comedy fan on 11/27/24The Charleston Music Hall - CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

This was a gift for my husband, who is a long time Paul F Tompkins fan. We also brought another couple who were not familiar with anyone in the show. We all had such a great time. Hannah was a stand out, and we laughed so hard. Thanks!

  • We are too old

by Martyj on 11/26/24The Charleston Music Hall - CharlestonRating: 1 out of 5

The venue and people were great. We failed to see humor in the entire show. Singing was difficult to understand. Performance by female was just silly. The band was enjoyable.

  • Great Time

by Joe on 5/8/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

PFT is hilarious and show was a really good time. Music was great and show is paced very well. I took my mom as an early Mother’s Day thing and she also had a blast. The birchmere also had decent food. But I would see PFT and Varietourpia again without a doubt.

  • Hilarious, Joyful

by LanceJr on 4/12/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Very enjoyable experience from start to finish. Loved seeing PFT appear as the popular character JW Stillwater, and Mr. Tompkins responds well with a crowd. I'm also grateful to be introduced to Hannah Pilkes through her Love Island contestant character. Extremely funny bit to punctuate the show. Can't wait to see him back this summer.
