About

Losing two founding members is enough to make most bands throw in the towel. Not the case for Tennessee-based emo rockers Paramore, who emerged from the setback stronger than ever with 2013's chart-topping Paramore, their fourth -- and most successful -- album to date. While the new lineup seems to be exploring new genres (synthpop, gospel), their legion of loyal fans will be happy to find that the hard-hitting, emotional sound the band is known for is still there – along with singer Hayley Williams’ iconic flame-colored hair. From the frenetic aggression of pop-punk lead single "Now" to the bubblegum hopefulness of "Still Into You," Paramore the LP encapsulates the best of the band’s work and proves that changes aren’t always a bad thing. Back on the road as a three-piece in 2013, there’s never been a better time to grab tickets to see Paramore in concert -- the intense charisma of frontwoman Hayley Williams has earned the band a reputation as a consummate live act.

When Paramore formed in 2004, none of the members were over the age of 18 -- a fact that sheds some light on their popularity among tweens and Twilight fans (two of the band’s songs feature prominently on the Twilight soundtrack). The band’s 2005 debut All We Know Is Falling earned them a spot on the Vans Warped Tour, as well as supporting slots with genre-mates Simple Plan. Bolstered by favorable reviews from British mags Kerrang! and NME, the band followed up in 2007 with platinum-certified Riot!, an album characterized by the bitter emotionalism of songs like “Misery Business” and “That’s What You Get.” After extensive touring in 2008 with fellow pop-punkers Jimmy Eat World and No Doubt, the band returned to the studio to record 2009’s Brand New Eyes, which, despite its debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, was their last release under the original lineup.

In the wake of their near-breakup, remaining members Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis (bass), and Taylor Young (guitar) have found new freedom to experiment with the band’s sound, and given Williams’ stated influences (The Cure, Etta James), there’s a lot of territory to explore. Considering the No.1 debut of 2013’s Paramore and the glowing reviews for the bands stripped-down live setup, the new formula seems to be suiting them just fine.

Throughout their career, Paramore have drawn massive crowds of fans, packing venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Tabernacle to capacity.

by Melody Leticia on 8/12/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The show was incredible, so good I lost my voice! That is proof it was an amazing live performance. Hayley owned tha stage and I lovd the fire & confetti!

  • Mostly outstanding

by Audrey on 8/12/23Rating: 4 out of 5

The band is so so SO good live; the visuals, the atmosphere, the setlist were all surprising, spunky, and magic. The only issue we ran into was the way it was mixed, from where we could hear it— super super heavy bass, and Hayley’s vocals were at times indistinguishable. I wanted to hear way more guitar shreddage than I could over the bass. This may have just been the venue? My show companion studied audio and was blown away by how discordant it seemed. I wasn’t super pressed—and honestly we were both singing/crying/swooning the entire time at Hayley because she is THAT FREAKING GOOD— but it did pull me out of the experience a few times because it was so wince-y. But anyway, wouldn’t have traded the experience for anything. Paramore is so worth itttt

  • Best concert of my life!

by Julibortioli on 8/12/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Great public, super polite, Nice and hard core fans. The band Was amazing even with Hayley super sick, the whole experience was incredible. I waited 17 years to see them live and the wait was really worth it. The venue is great too.

This literally was the best show I’ve ever been to. Paramore is amazing but that shouldn’t shock anyone. Climate pledge was nice and easy to find seats. Staff is very friendly

It's impossible to capture the joy that comes from a Paramore show. BEST BAND EVER. A Paramore show always feels like a "chosen family"event. The music is phenomenal - Haley's voice is so powerful - the fans are into it, screaming every line, even the new songs. I will go see Paramore again and again and again and again.

  • Amazing

    by Sailfast67 on 8/12/23Rating: 5 out of 5

My family has been to several concerts over the last few years. Including some of the biggest artists on the planet. From a performance standpoint, Paramore was undoubtedly the best. Iconic songs delivered with absolute passion and sincerity. Even with a lung infection Hailey sounded perfect. Decode was the best live performance I have ever seen hands down. Amazing! I hope Hailey gets better soon.

  • Paramore is the Best Band Ever! I Love Hayley!

by NMajorRockfan! on 8/11/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I wished I could give a six-star review to give praise for my girl, Hayley Williams! Unfortunately, I was unable to make the original date of the Chase Center experience due to a travel/work conflict, so it was a miracle to me that it got rescheduled! This was a huge upgrade for Paramore and it was the perfect opportunity for Hayley to have her moment! Everything about Hayley just makes me so happy. I was a huge fan of hers when I was in high school and I’m proud of the way she’s continued to grow and evolve. She’s the best live performer ever!! I felt like I was in my happy place the whole time. Paramore is worth seeing as many times as possible!

  • More than worth the wait

by Rainbow Dani on 8/11/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Paramore can put on a show, even with lead singer Halley sick she rocked this arena show. From pyrotechnics and confetti to an amazing moving stage, and of course the band and their fabulous music. This new venue is also beautiful and welcoming. The bars and restaurants on the floor level are very impressive.

  • Awesome energy!!

by Thais on 8/11/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I’m biased because I’ve been a fan for over 10 years, but it was my first live Paramore concert and I loved every second of it! Hayley has such a contagious energy. Love love love

  • Paramore doesn’t let you down

by Lk on 8/10/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The concert was incredible mostly because the band was so talented and performed an incredible show. Bathroom lines for women after the concert were way too long, and parking was a bit confusing but the show itself was very enjoyable.

  • Amazing!!!!

by Dannie on 8/10/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve loved Paramore for the past 17 years. It was my first time seeing them in concert by themselves. I’ve seen them play at when we were young festival. I had the most fun and awesome time. Steph Curry coming out was a bonus.

  • Best. Band. Ever.

by Dani on 8/10/23Rating: 5 out of 5

After Paramore had to reschedule we were so happy to have made it to the new date it was worth the wait. The show was amazing. We walked in smoothly through the security line, got in line for merch (very long but moved quickly) and then headed to our seats. We had great seats and as soon as they hit the stage we rocked out all night. The energy that Paramore brings (even while sick) is such an out of body experience. We love Paramore and see them every time they tour.

  • We are Paramore

by Jerry on 8/10/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Once a Paramore fan always a Paramore fan. No matter where they play or what venue they are in, Hayley Williams and the crew will always deliver the best show hands down.

  • Awesome performance and overall experience!

by JamesG on 8/9/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been attending concerts for most of my life and I am always impressed with paramore’s ability to improve with every tour. Their attention to the experience that the audience has had always been exceptional, and this time around they have made even more improvements with the wristband system for GA. Security passed out free water throughout the night, and were quick to respond when requests were made. Of course the show was fantastic and very well thought out. Standing where my favorite hockey team plays was the icing on the cake!

  • Best concert ever

by Emma on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was my first concert in over 9 years and first ever live band concert. Nothing beats Paramore. I was floored.

  • My Inner Child is Healed

    by Sierra :) on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The concert of 8/07 in SF gave me CHILLS. I have never felt so much happiness and excitement like that. The crowd felt like family. Paramore was amazing as always but felt so personal-able. I was close to shedding a tear just because of how long I’ve waited for a moment like that. I will 1000000000% be going to another concert in the future for Paramore. Thank you Paramore❤️

  • Great concert

First time seeing Paramore live. I have been a fan since the first album. I took my daughter and niece. This being their first concert. The show was amazing. The band plays great together and we truly enjoyed ourselves.
