About

Losing two founding members is enough to make most bands throw in the towel. Not the case for Tennessee-based emo rockers Paramore, who emerged from the setback stronger than ever with 2013's chart-topping Paramore, their fourth -- and most successful -- album to date. While the new lineup seems to be exploring new genres (synthpop, gospel), their legion of loyal fans will be happy to find that the hard-hitting, emotional sound the band is known for is still there – along with singer Hayley Williams’ iconic flame-colored hair. From the frenetic aggression of pop-punk lead single "Now" to the bubblegum hopefulness of "Still Into You," Paramore the LP encapsulates the best of the band’s work and proves that changes aren’t always a bad thing. Back on the road as a three-piece in 2013, there’s never been a better time to grab tickets to see Paramore in concert -- the intense charisma of frontwoman Hayley Williams has earned the band a reputation as a consummate live act.

When Paramore formed in 2004, none of the members were over the age of 18 -- a fact that sheds some light on their popularity among tweens and Twilight fans (two of the band’s songs feature prominently on the Twilight soundtrack). The band’s 2005 debut All We Know Is Falling earned them a spot on the Vans Warped Tour, as well as supporting slots with genre-mates Simple Plan. Bolstered by favorable reviews from British mags Kerrang! and NME, the band followed up in 2007 with platinum-certified Riot!, an album characterized by the bitter emotionalism of songs like “Misery Business” and “That’s What You Get.” After extensive touring in 2008 with fellow pop-punkers Jimmy Eat World and No Doubt, the band returned to the studio to record 2009’s Brand New Eyes, which, despite its debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, was their last release under the original lineup.

In the wake of their near-breakup, remaining members Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis (bass), and Taylor Young (guitar) have found new freedom to experiment with the band’s sound, and given Williams’ stated influences (The Cure, Etta James), there’s a lot of territory to explore. Considering the No.1 debut of 2013’s Paramore and the glowing reviews for the bands stripped-down live setup, the new formula seems to be suiting them just fine.

Throughout their career, Paramore have drawn massive crowds of fans, packing venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Tabernacle to capacity.

I cried it was so good & nostalgic

    by L. B. on 9/7/23

I saw paramore for the first time in my life at 25 years old on July 19th at the forum in Los Angeles. Hayley’s stage presence is UNREAL. She played some fan favorite songs from when the band first came out and it made me cry because it took me back to me being a little girl listening to paramore on my iPod nano. I will most definitely be seeing them again if they decide to do another tour. Hopefully they do something special for their 20th anniversary which is right around the corner.

    Worth. Every. Penny.

    by Julian Jetson on 8/29/23

I have been a die hard fan of Paramore since their debut. I had never been able to see them live, and almost 20 years later, I finally got to see them out in the Palm Springs with some of my closest friends, who have also been huge fans since the beginning. It was all of ours first time getting to see them, and it was truly amazing. Sometimes in life, you get to witness people doing exactly what they were meant to, and that's exactly how it feels seeing Paramore live. The setlist was truly amazing, got to hear some of my all time favorites. 100/100 recommend if you get the chance. Will definitely be seeing them again.

The best concert! Hayley Williams is ELEMENTAL!!

    by KAOG on 8/18/23

Of the many concerts I have attended, including Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, the energy of Paramore and Hayley Williams is unmatched. She is earth, fire, water, and wind. I find myself asking how on earth does she move so much, so fluidly, without getting breathy? Every moment feels like a river, ebbing and flowing. It feels natural, unplanned, and explorative, though I doubt it is. This is Hayley's gift, and even though every show is likely, planned to be similar, she ad-libs so much that even watching other city's shows on Tik Tok or YouTube seems entirely different. I have attended many different styles of concerts, but none compare. Paramore is a fierce explosion of energy and serenity that transports you to an ethereal plane, and a night of music you won't soon forget. My only regret? Not seeing them sooner!

    Spectacular

    by Sati on 8/15/23

One of the best experiences of my life, I got to see my favorite band live, and they lived up to the hype. Crowd was into the whole show, the band brought their best, and with the behind the scenes stuff about their health coming out, it’s incredible what they were able to achieve in that setting and at such a high level. I do hope to see them again whenever they do decide to go on tour again, I love Paramore, and I love going to see my favorites in person.

Paramore killed it at their show. Despite the singer being sick, their show was impeccable. Would highly recommend. They sound better live and certainly put on a great show.

    Paramore never disappoints

    by GabiD on 8/12/23

The wait was worth it! We were sad to hear Haley was sick and the show had to be rescheduled, but happy it wasn’t cancelled. Two hours of our favorite songs, old and new, amazing light show, and miss Haley sitting on the edge of the show singing slow songs. One of my favorite parts of the show was the amount of interaction Haley had with the audience. She shared so much and invited us all in. She sang full force, even though she was still incredibly sick. I feel fortunate we saw the last show before the had to cancel due to her health, but respect the band for making a tough decision to take care of their health. Haley shared they were ready to make more music “a lot more music” after the tour….fingers crossed they come back before 10 more years of pass!

    Best concert of my life

    by JE on 8/12/23

Paramore is a BAND. Everyone's stage presence was such a treat, and the message of not losing hope, and looking out for the future was echoed throughout the entire show. Truly, this concert was such a multi-generational experience -- I loved how they had such a young band, the Lina Lindas, open for them. One of the most wholesome, satisfying, and kick-ass concerts I have ever attended!

Hayley put on a great show despite fighting her lung infection. You couldn’t even tell she was still sick! It was such a great show and so nostalgic to hear songs we grew up with. Really fun atmosphere!

    Mostly outstanding

    by Audrey on 8/12/23

The band is so so SO good live; the visuals, the atmosphere, the setlist were all surprising, spunky, and magic. The only issue we ran into was the way it was mixed, from where we could hear it— super super heavy bass, and Hayley’s vocals were at times indistinguishable. I wanted to hear way more guitar shreddage than I could over the bass. This may have just been the venue? My show companion studied audio and was blown away by how discordant it seemed. I wasn’t super pressed—and honestly we were both singing/crying/swooning the entire time at Hayley because she is THAT FREAKING GOOD— but it did pull me out of the experience a few times because it was so wince-y. But anyway, wouldn’t have traded the experience for anything. Paramore is so worth itttt
