This was my third Ozo concert. I just love this group- their high energy is totally infectious and their musical talent just can't be beat. A cacophony of sound, not just a noise, but layers of great eclectic music with a Latin twist. Spicy!!!!. Their salsa stuff is smokin' hot. Love their politics and their civic commitment also. Ozomatli please return to Hawaii soon!

It was a decent show, but one of the main guys wasn't there. Also the show seemed shorter than usual and the crowd was less full. I was surprised that not that many people went to this show. On the plus side, there was a lot of room to dance. My date and I danced all night. We had a good time.
I love love love seeing Ozomatli LIVE! They never disappoint :) This particular concert was a social experiment - I took a friend of mine who has never heard of Ozomatli (unreal, I know!) and who doesnt speak a lick of espanol. That chica was jumping, dancing and singing along (as best she could) within minutes! That's the power of great music del corazon :)
What a dynamite show! The band's energy was off the charts and the individual solos by each band member were unique and inspired! Played for 2.5 hours solid and I did not see anyone sitting down during the performance - everyone was dancing as hard as the band was playing! I highly recommend this band to anyone who loves Latin inspired funk / soul music to see this band live - what a way to ring in 2012!
Fluffy (Gabriel Iglesias) was hilarious, I am not a big fan of most stand up comedy, but after seeing him on Netflix recently I had to see him in person. I was definitely not disappointed. I had not heard Ozomatli before this event, but their music was a lot of fun. The only issue with the event is the Uptown theater got way too hot, A/C would have been much appreciated. I left earlier than I would have otherwise cause I couldn't stand the temperature any longer. A dance floor area would have been nice as well, but as this venue didn't have one, it was was still a great show.
This is probably my 4th or 5th time seeing Ozo, and I was starting to forget that it's always an awesome show! La Santa Cecilia opened up and they were great. Their style of music is more Mexican influenced than Ozo, and they had an accordion player who was outstanding. Also, Gabriel Iglesias (Fluffy!) and other comedians (Martin, Sean, and Ray I think) performed and they were hilarious. Finally Ozo came out and they tore the house down. It was New Year's Eve, so everyone was in a party mood, and as soon as they started their first song, people were up and dancing either in the aisles or in the small spaces in front of their seats. Uli did a "Sexy Sax Man" cover and Wil-Dog sang a banda song. What never gets old is when the band comes out to the audience and continues playing. O-ZO-MAT-LI! YA SE FUE! YA SE FUE!

The first performer was just horrible and wore the most insane outfit! I thought it was terrible. The first two comedians were less than funny and the house was quiet... Fluffy was great and never seems to disappoint. The only thing that was horrible was the dumb photographer standing backstage flashing pictures the whole time! What an idiot! Every time he took a picture the flash lit up the audience and was blinding to us. He should have been in the front row taking pictures not facing the audience! The ending band was fun and I enjoyed how many instruments they include! Fun event but probably won't be back next year unless the comic line up is better.

The music was awesome! They love and appreciate their fans. It shows in the way they play and interact during the whole show. They took requests via Facebook prior to the show and ended with a giant conga line running through the entire crowd! I will alway love these guys. I will always make an effort to see them, and so should everyone else.
Always a blast to see Ozomatli live. I haven't danced so much in a long time. It was non-stop dancing, singing and jumping all the way out the doors. Can't wait for the next one.
I'll keep this short. These guys are fantastic, they are very generous musicians, their music is contagious not only because it is good, they really show they like playing it and they have excellent chemistry with the people.
I recomend everyone to go see Ozomatli at least once! And once you do, you'll want to see them every chance you can! They give more energy then an can of monster!
