Ozomatli was flippin' awesome! I have seen them several times before & they NEVER disappoint! Their energy is amazing! The musicianship is amazing! Ozo may be the best band to see LIVE in the entire planet! So grateful they make their way to Colorado as often as they do=) Will be a loyal life long fan!
WOW! We drove up from Colorado Springs in that crazy snowstorm to see our favorite band, and we were NOT disappointed! Our 17 year old daughter was with us and so excited to finally see Ozomatli LIVE. Of course she bought a tshirt and download card too. As a latin family, it's always fun to be able to sing along to our favorites. It was also interesting that there were so many different ages in attendance. We just assumed we would be the oldest ones there, but there were clearly those much older than we are, dancing and grooving to the music. It was wonderful! The thing that we were most impressed with Ozomatli is that these guys are so talented! The singing, the playing (SO many instruments!), and the dancing - they are just amazing! They played with the audience, brought kids up on stage to play along with percussions, and at the end played and danced through the venue, drawing everyone to participate in the party. That's what it felt like. A big party, and we were all invited. You can just tell that they love what they do! And that energy was contagious! We also really enjoyed Nathen Maxwell and the Original Bunny Gang! They were the perfect warmup band. We are now fans!

If you want to see a band that does not quit or stop from bringing the energy then this is your band. They went through many of their songs from their first cd to their last one and new songs thrown in for good measure, and had the place jumping and dancing the whole show. Not to mention the show stopping performance and Conga line through the audience out the front door! These guys go all out and then talk to you and shake your hand afterward! Awesome Band,Great show,Good Peeps, Its a cant miss!
Ozomatli's show at the Ogden on Saturday night was incredible! This East L.A. band brought all of the sounds of the City of Angels to snowy Denver, and had the house rocking from their opening number. If you didn't find yourself dancing along with the band and the crowd, you must not have blood running through your veins. Ozo's mixture of many different genres of music -- from salsa, to merengue, to hip hop and rap, the straight up rock n' roll -- is infectious and uplifting, and the band's message of social equality and justice round out the vibe perfectly.
As usual, Ozomatli put on an amazing, fun-filled, dance packed show. They showcased some new songs, as well as old favorites. Overall, it was fantastic and I can't wait for them to come back to Denver.
This is one of the best live bands I know. If they don't get you boogieing, no band will. If they come to your town, check them out. You won't be disappointed.

11/14/2009 the music was off the hook. Start with Nathan Maxwell (from Flogging Molly) and his band the OBG! These boys have the roots, the rhythm and the overall amazing vibe to keep us over-zealous Ozo fans moving and grooving. I am very excited to see them again! As for Ozomatli...let's just say I have been seeing this band for a while now and they never seize to amaze me. This performance was alive and kicking with brand new songs and some serious flava'! Made new friends and grooved with the old ones too!
I've seen OZO quite a few times now and they never cease to amaze me. They are great musicians and excellent entertainers. I will see them again and again whenever they are in Western Washington.
Great music, great energy...good times! I would definately suggest going to see these guys. They are awesome!
If you have ever thought of going to see this band, GO GO GO. They are phenomenal live band. My husband and I have been going in Seattle every year for the last 4 years. The band members are friendly. It is hard to describe this group to someone who has not seen them but if you are hesitating - don't you will have a great time. We brought 4 people with us who had never seen them and the LOVED it.
This was my first time seeing Ozo and I was blown away. We have friends that see them every year and I guarantee from now on we will go as well. High energy show and so much fun!
These guys are so much fun! And what a crowd! Every type of music lover was there, from 20's to 60's! Loved the conga line ending. Check them out on line and see what you missed!
The concert was incredibly energetic. It was a birthday surprise well worth the fanatic crowd scene. A well rounded band with something to offer to everyone -- hip-hop, Latin, rap, salsa... Also, a well played ending.
Usual high-energy, crowd-shakin', floor bouncin', hokey pokey-playing load of hot hip-hoppety boom bam bippity soulful Latino lovin'. If you haven't seen them live, you ain't seen nothing.
Hadn't seen these guys since 2004. They were good then and they are still good now. Ozomatli will rock your face off.
This show was the best I have ever been to!! The atmosphere was great with people of all ages and ethncity. The band had such a high level of energy with The Original Bunny Gang being a perfect opener!! All Ozomatli band members were so talented and they all played different instruments and sang. Ozomati really interacted with the crowd and made me realize how much I love them. Best live preformers I've ever seen!
Did not particularly care for this band. sort of run of the mill. would not see them again.
It didn't hurt that it was a warm summer night at an amazingly beautiful out-door venue in the Saratoga hills...but OZO did not disappoint...in fact, fact they pumped out hit after hit while the entire theatre danced the whole show. Perfect!!
