Wanted the oldies.not the new stuff...if they would have sung all their hits then I would have been happy but they missed around 6 big hits..

    A blast from the past!

by auntbecky on 5/22/18River City Casino and Hotel - St Louis

Ozark Mountain Daredevils put on a very enjoyable show. Not a bad seat in the house! Great venue: nice, clean, no long lines. Older crowd and most everyone remained in their seat! Didn’t have to stand up throughout the show!

    Could have been better

by Crizn246 on 5/22/18River City Casino and Hotel - St Louis

the first part of the concert was really good. Fell flat in the middle and never really recovered. They played some of their definite non hits in the middle. If they were going to go to that I don't know why they skipped some of their really good balads. One in particular is You Know Like I Know. It's an absolutely beautiful song and I don't know why they don't play it. I've checked several set lists from other towns and it never appeared on any. Kind of baffles me.

This was a great show from some "old rockers" that can still get the crowd on their feet. Hearing their songs and hits again was a real treat. Would definitely go see them again.

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils brought back a lot of good old memories. They mesh well and still enjoy playing together after all these years. Good time had by all!

This is a band that has truly stood the test of time. The performance was great. The sound was pretty much spot on, and the venue was one of the nicest I have been to. I just wish they had played a bit longer.

Drove over an hour to get there. The show was only about an hour long. Too short for the money.

We enjoyed the Ozark Mountain Daredevils

by margaritachick on 10/7/14Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

The sound was great, their interaction with the crowd was very good. They had us all up dancing. Very disappointed they played for only one hour and 13 minutes. I paid with hard earned money and only got one hour and 13 minutes. Really wanted to hear more of their fantastic music.

    Time has taken it's toll

by gwizzzzzz on 10/7/14Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

I was disappointed in the show. I thought they could have played a better selection of their music and time has caught up with their voices. They did not seem like they practice very much because they were not very tight as a band. t times it seemed like a free for all. They only played one song for their encore.

Have seen the Dare Devils many times. This may have been the best venue where we have seen them. They seemed to be enjoying themselves and put on a great show.

The concert may have been really good but I couldn't tell! The sound system did not do any of the groups that performed any justice.... the speakers were pointed in one direction (what few there were) and anything that came out of anyone's mouth onstage was so distorted and muffled that you couldn't understand any of the words. We were there to see the bands perfom, we got to watch children run up and down the stairs in front of us so not only could you not hear anything but you weren't going to see anything either. I paid good money out and got to watch some unresponsible parents demon offspring run amok and couldnt hear anything much either that made sense..... Overall rating???? It sucked!!!!!!

Metal Gym is no place for a concert

by Attendee1314 on 4/24/12West Plains Civic Center - West Plains

Couldn't understand the words to most of the songs. Volume on singers needed to be louder or the music turned down. Words mostly mush.

Not the Ozark Mountain Daredevils I once knew

by Unlucky1 on 4/23/12West Plains Civic Center - West Plains

REALLY enjoyed the opening acts! All of them were very good and enjoyed their music, especially Big Smith!! But when it got to the Ozark Mountain Daredevils my husband and I were so disappointed!! Only 3 of the original group was there and when they sang Jackie Blue it was a flop!!! We left soon after that!! Also, why did they allow drinking at this event?? Some people got out of control and there were some kids there. It wasn't Woodstock, and we aren't still in our 20's!! So very disappointed!!!

    The Daredevils were great!!

by WCMnOZ on 4/23/12West Plains Civic Center - West Plains

I have seen them several times over the past few years. The more gigs they do, the better they get. The "Colorado Song" was wonderfull as were "Jackie Blue" and "If You Want to Gat to Heaven". It's a great show when you add Powder Mill and Big Smith as the lead acts. The first act was good also, I just can't remember her name. If you get a chance, you have to see the Daredevils!!!
