First , Ottmar Playing @ The Majestic is already a Setting That Is Guaranted a Very Special Evening . This was Not the First Time , I have had the Pleasure of Seeing and Hearing Mr Liebert t , But This Show Certainly Out Weighed Any Previous Show In San Antonio . His Selection Of Music from past CD and and New Releases blended with the tight band of Excelent Musicians and the Elegant Showcase @ the Majestic ,,, was certainly a night that left everyone with an enjoyable , entertaining and musical event . Ottmar is One Artist that I Definitely will always make every effort to view in concert ! Thank You Ticket Master

New stuff is GREAT! Glad he played from the Nouveau Flaminco CD - every song is wonderful! No gimmicks, just great music! The feeling with which Ottmar and his band played and the way they had set the stage was that of being very intimate, like being in his living room. The venue had extremely good acoustics, but I hope he plays somewhere else next time. The video was a stationery camera that didn't even show the drummer.

This concert requires no special effects. They are pure talent. I would see them again in a heartbeat. They played a little bit of old and a little bit of new.

Ottmar Liebert played old songs and new songs from his new album. He's an all-business entertainer giving the audience a lot of music with very little discussion. I've loved his music since the early 90's and his live performance is as good as his albums. I'd see him again!

the sound is complex, all musicians playing in the group are very accomplished, and the music makes the listener feel like dancing in the seat. the guitarist is phenomenally gifted.

Ottmar Leibert is so amazingly talented. He does not need a flashy stage show or smoke and mirrors. I liked the simplicity of his stage presence and the simple way his band presents itself. I mean, with unbelievable talent like they have, all they have to do is begin playing to make a statement. Why bother with anything else. The music was amazing. They don't waste any time getting down to business and play just about every second they're on stage. What an amazing concert. I need to go buy his new CD.

Outstanding. Please bring more music like this to San Antonio. The Majestic is the most beautiful theatre I have ever seen. I have been in the best London, New York City, Paris and more. We need more like Ottmar Liebert, Gypsy Kings, Jesse Cook, Enya, etc.

I just love the way he sets up the stage, so homey, relaxed, laid back. And his music, so up beat even and when he played his slower ones made me want to get up and dance with my husband.

Ottmar Leibert and Luna Negra's performance made my wife's birthday an unforgettable experience. Michael Chavez is a great additon to Luna Negra.

Ottmar Leiberts performance in San Antonio Texas was fantastic. The performers were right on and the sound was perfect. You could not help your self to tap your feet or hands to the rythm of the music.

The Majestic Theater was full of fans who love Ottmar and his music. Every piece played was applauded warmly. The musicians acknowleged the audience's applause after every solo and song. All players are virtuoso instrumentalist. Ottmars solos and technique were phenominal--better live than the CD! Near the end there was excitement as fans appluaded, whistled, and yelled YEAH! Ottmar and his group deservedly got an enthusiactic standing ovation at the end which would not stop until they came back for a 2 song encore! When finshed the group got a second standing ovation. It was an awesome concert!

Over the top crowd provided gave superb support to Ottmar. Drummer was fantastic....and drums were a new addition to the star. Loved everything Ottmar performed except when he decided to rely on electric guitar.

Tantalizing mixes of wonderful music that fills your senses and embodied the mind with excitement and makes you want to listen forever. Rich and robust loved every minute of heaven, which is the only way to describe these wonderful men of music. Very talented would see again.

This is an amazing musician, supported by other great musicians. His concert is true to his works, and identical in quality.

The Ottmar Leibert & Luna Negra concert at the Majestic was a most enjoyable event. The talent and musical professionalism of the entire group was breathe-taking. That, along with the ambience of the Majestic, made for a very memorable evening. I would highly recommend this concert to anyone no matter their background or age. These men are blessed to have found their gifts to this world while I was blessed to have had the opportunity to enjoy those gifts.

The music was haunting and beautiful. No frills, No singing. No clever chatting. Just Ottmar and his guys doing their thing. You get 2 solid hours of music. The show started promptly at 7 pm and the band just started playing. No intro of any type, just pure music straight up! You will not be disappointed.

This concert was everything I had hoped for. It was the first time I had seen Ottmar Liebert and he performs an excellent live show, accompanied by the four musicians comprising Luna Negra. The sound was excellent and the music was dynamic. The concert was well-received by a mostly full house. From what I can tell, Liebert will be touring solo this fall, but I think seeing him with Luna Negra, who help to recreate the sound of his recordings, would be the way to go.

The concert was just fabulous. He played for almost two hours, and we were not disappointed. I loved his bare feet!

It would have been nice to get programs. With all the wonderful instruments, it was sad they didn't have a few latin rhythms.
