Ottmar Liebert Tickets

We love seeing Ottmar at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. His music is amazing, and his concerts never disappoint us. We go every year. His two band mates are incredibly talented, and it’s great how he features each one. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

First time at House of Blues. Small intimate setting with nice acoustics. Music outstanding. Suggestions We sat in balcony with obstructed view of stage. Strategically placed mirrors along edge of balcony between balcony and floor would be helpful for seeing musicians/performers. Also tickets were for 7 pm. The music started later. We arrived early thinking it would start at 7. Had to wait outside in the cold. Event should start at time on tickets and the venue open earlier so you can get food refreshments and be seated comfortably like is done at sporting events. Concert tailgate?! Hope these suggestions are helpful to House of Blues Management.

The tune was an absolute monotony. Lack a variety. We were under the impression that was the same song all the time, over and over. The audience was very respectful even everyone noticed the monotony.

I listened to Ottmar Liebert on The Wave radio in LA and have some of his earliest CDs. Was thrilled to see he was performing in Houston - had no idea he was touring. Brought a couple friends and we all enjoyed his music! Just wonderful.

I spent a little more for 4th row floor seating to take my mom. She absolutely loves Ottmar Liebert. His show was outstanding! The floor seating at House of Blues was not. They pile these uncomfortable folding chairs in like sardines! Practically sitting on the lap of the person next to you. Not comfortable and very awkward next to a stranger. I know House of Blues are trying to sell as many seats but for a premium price for floor seating, it should be much better than this.

I have season’s tickets to the Houston Symphony, on my phone, and I walk right in, which takes about 1 minute. Live Nation required me to stand in line for an hour prior to the show, then used a wand to check for weapons, then searched my wife’s purse. Never again. No matter who is performing.

Excellent show every time I see Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra.

An unparalleled hour and a half of music that transports the listener away from the day to day and into another universe. Ethereal, transformative, spiritual and transcendent. Can’t wait to go to another show n

I’ve seen Ottmar 5 or 6 times. Always an excellent concert. Will probably see him another 5 or 6 times.

Ottmare Liebert was fantastic. Just wish I could have seen him. The balcony seats at The Vogel Theater were horrible Shame on them for offering seats where you can’t even see the stage. I will never get tickets for the Vogel Theater again

From the moment Ottmar Liebert picks up a guitar, it becomes clear that he is not just an ordinary musician but a maestro of the strings. His virtuosity on the guitar is nothing short of breathtaking. With every note, he weaves a sonic tapestry that takes the listener on an enchanting journey through the realms of melody and rhythm. His fingers dance across the fretboard, effortlessly transitioning from soul-stirring, melancholic melodies to blazing, electrifying solos that leave audiences in awe.

A subdued performance with little or no energy. Very different tempo and beat from his recordings. Even his most vibrant melodies were performed at half speed. There was no presence or showmanship among the musicians. These appear to be studio musicians and that's where they should stay. There was no intermission to break up the the sleepy pace and repetitive melodies. Had there been an intermission it would have provided an escape from this grueling performance.

I never saw him in concert. He and his band were fantastic and the venue was great.

Mesmerizing evening, enchanting, beautiful. Loved it. Couldn’t believe he was here in Cincinnati. Have listened to his CD at least 1000 times over the years and in person was magical. And loved Ludlow Garage venue. Couldn’t understand why it wasn’t a sold out event- I only found out about it the day of because I drove down I-71 and saw a billboard flash. Need better “getting the word out” - could easily have sold out 2 shows there. A WVXU spot would have helped

I have listen to OL since the 90s. His flamenco style guitar sounds have been the soundtrack though many of my years. His performance was exceptional. No fluff or filler. A bassist on a string bass and him with his guitar. The music was magical and breathtaking. As he played it seemed like time stood still. He is a beautiful human with a talent that he shares. I highly recommend seeing him. Block out the noise of everyday life and see what the music he plays says to you.

Ottmar was great. Improvisational riffs were amazing. We really enjoyed the concert. The PA was too loud (he even asked to turn it down) and the bass was imbalanced high to low notes. It's a tough room!

The whole band was supposed to be there and it was Ottmar and 2 other guys. No stage setting, just three guys sitting there playing, saying nothing. None of them greeted the audience, just sat down and started playing. Of course the music was great. The true problem was the seating. The Rialto used to have built in seats that were comfortable. These were folding chairs and the space is sloped like a theater would be, so the chairs made you sit straight up or pitch forward slightly. This was excruciating on my back (old injury) and I had to leave after 4 songs. I would’ve liked to stay, despite the show being rather boring, but I just couldn’t take the pain. I spent $76 on two tickets and it was just a waste of $.

Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra were simply fantastic. One of the best live performances I've seen in a while. The acoustics enhanced the experience. Overall, he theater was too cold but I had a warm sweater with me. As usual the use of cellphones for recording and texting, etc. was really annoying and disrespectful. I wish something could be done!

My 4th or 5th time seeing OL perform in Tucson. Always great. This time I bought 4 tickets and invited 3 friends to join me and they loved it. I was so happy that he came in May instead of June so that we could dine at the cup on the patio before the show.

The word I use is “Intense”. Three musicians melted into one beautiful sound.
