Ottawa Senators History
The original Ottawa Senators were founded in 1883 and were one of the founding teams of the NHL during its early years, winning 11 Stanley Cup Championships between 1903 and 1927. When the NHL started to expand to the U.S., the Senators were sold to St. Louis and became the Eagles, but the team shuttered after one year. The second incarnation of the Senators joined the NHL in 1992. The Senators have since gone on to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs 16 times.

Nice seating and easy to access. Staff were friendly and courteous !!!
expensive event for a Pre-season that THACHUK, GIROUX & STÜTZLE were NOT in the lineup
The ticket experience was great. Super smooth. May get better seats next time. I only gave 4 stars because the Sens lost. Lol
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super duper family friendly
Got there early, had to wait in line in order to receive a bracelet to get autographs. Then later while waiting in line for over an hour the players left to catch a plane leaving my son's (11 and 13) without an autograph. So we waited inntwo lines for almost 2 hours for nothing. 2 drinks and 2 popcorns cost over $40. Absolutely brutal
My daughter and I are huge Sens fans and we arrived at 9:15 and all of the bracelets were gone. We know to arrive earlier next year. We just wished we could have met a few of the players. I have cancer and would have loved this for my daughter. Hopeful that we will have a chance to meet them eventually.
Everything was great when it comes to the CTC and the Senators, but Ticketmaster needs an upgraded system. When I was purchasing my ticket online, I was told my session ran out of time and my ticket would be released, so I left that page and started over again. I ended up being charged for both orders. I had to "talk"to 2 agents online before I was told 1 order would be returned (still waiting for a refund). Why are customers being charged when they are told that their system timed out?
First 100 level game and the seats were great. 5 rows up at center ice behind the benches.
Stadium staff were friendly, elevator operator was very nice. The steps and seating area were so sticky our shoes where literally being pulled off our feet with every step we took. It was gross and not very inviting to say the least
The game was phenomenal as were the staff working at the event. Everything was splendid. The only knock I have is that the floors in the 300 level are super sticky and look like they haven’t been thoroughly washed in quite some time. Hopefully this will be addressed so that all fans come back!! Go Sens Go!!!
What can ya say, its the ottawa sens, dont expect too much. From significantly overpriced tickets, to terrible food options at the game, to having to drive 15 min outside of the city to get to the rink, to limiting parking options, to limited entertainment between periods, its a wonder I still keep giving them a chance year after year. Move that rink downtown
We've been to quite a few NHL rinks and this was our 2nd visit to Ottawa. Canadian Tire is by far our favourite place to watch hockey. The whole experience is very fan inclusive, which (coming from the UK) we loved.
We were on holiday in Canada and wanted to see a hockey game, we were not disappointed! The fans were all ecstatic and the overall atmosphere was great! Would like to visit again sometime.
Awesome game, amazing service. Loved the atmosphere!!!
This was a great game so glad I have my season tickets for next year already and my son got Tim Stutzle autographed stick at the end of the game super happy 8 year old.
Love coming to Ottawa to watch a sens game , always a good time !
Had a super fun evening UNTIL it came time to leave. The parking lot was a hot mess and it took over an hour just to get out of the lot!! The attendants didn’t seem to have a clue how to move vehicles efficiently. Ugh. What a buzz kill!
Really enjoyed the game, environment was great, tickets are fairly priced especially with them playing Toronto but 45min to get out of the parking lot after the game especially on a weekday isnt pleasant and concession prices are absurd.
Game is good. But can we rethink how these games should also tend to French residents. Our communities are bilingual and we should have bilingual intermission activities.
The game was great however it sure would be nice to have handicapped seating on each level instead of the rafters. Another disappointment was no food opportunities on level 3. The staff were wonderful and the process was very efficient so I have to applaud them. I would attend more events there
