They sounded great and engaged the crowd. They put on an awesome show. Highly recommend you go see them.
Loved the mix of music they played. High energy and I enjoyed every minute of their set. Wishing I could see this show again!! Even better than I imagined seeing them live after all this time!
Amazing show!! Jay always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has an amazing time!
Great show with excellent opening acts at a very kewl venue!
Over all, I would give this a 5 star review, it had some sound issues but were worked on right away, it felt like a party and the venue was quite intimate. I was able to chat with some of the artists after their sets which made whole experience that much better and memorable. Would love to have them back again!
The set was very short, especially seeing setlists from the other dates on this tour, more than half was not played. Waited about an hour before they came on. No explanation. Pretty bummed
Venue was awesome (small place) and the band sounded better than ever, plus we had front row 🙌
Always a great night when going to see Orgy!! Love these guys!
I went to see Orgy and by the time they came on stage , we were too tired to stay for the whole set. The amount of opening acts was an overkill.
Brand of Julez was my favorite band...Orgy put on a great show...I was more into Brand of Julez performance though.
The whole show was upbeat and worth every penny! :)
I had the best time!!! Orgy put on a great show ad the venue even though far was a really good place to see a show!
Was a kick ass show & the opening bands were great too. They all have such great stage presence. They performed many of the older songs as well as a few new ones, which were great too! Was like a blast from the past & reminded me of when I was a young, crazy teenager lol. Definitely would recommend the event & would go again if they came back to my area! \m/
The show was ok. Orgy put on a decent show but the band just doesn't deliver without Amir, Bobby, Ryan, and Paige. Not that they were bad, they just sound like a really good cover version of Orgy. The synth sounds were lacking that amir delivered in the past. 9Electric was on point. The strongest band of the night. They out shined Orgy in every aspect. Sound, Performance, Crowd participation. Death Valley High was a great surprise as well. First time seeing them or even hearing of them for that matter.
I've been a huge fan of Orgy since the beginning. I'm happy to see that they are back. They sounded better than ever and the new songs sound fantastic!!
First off, I love seeing bands at small venues like the Alrosa Villa. You're literally right where the bands are the entire time, and the close interaction just makes it that much better. I have seen Orgy in concert three times now, and I love them. Even with the new member lineup, they still rocked, and if they ever come back to Columbus, or my current home Cincinnati, I will definitely be seeing them for the fourth time.
3rd time seeing Orgy. I have mixed feelings about this show. Orgy seemed to do the best they could with what they were given but the crowd was small (like maybe 50-ish people, probably because it was a Thur night in Toledo) and venue was large. Also there were some wireless mic issues for the first couple of songs that hampered the show. The audio seemed to be off as well. Like it was kind of muffled or quiet, especially on the vocals. Like I said, Orgy did what they could with all that but when the crowd isn't giving the energy back to the band because of all the above reasons, the whole show suffers. They did finally pull the whole thing together for the final song which was Blue Monday (of course) with You Spin Me Round tacked on the end. The singer even got off the stage and walked around in the crowd holding the mic up to folks and freely giving away the hugs. The opening bands were pretty forgettable. Davey Suicide had some pretty cool songs at the beginning and end of their set (had kind of an Amen sound to them) but in the middle decided to toss out an inspirational speech which was lame. If you're going to go all out and give yourself a moniker with "suicide" in it, then commit to it. Don't tell about how you used to be sad but now life is great because you have fans. Vampires Everywhere weren't bad but just didn't stand out. At least Davey Suicide had some lights and smoke. VE couldn't be bothered with trying to entertain visually
I was at the Atlanta show last night (13 March 13). I had some reservations, Orgy has been my favorite band since '98 and the lineup changes had me a little nervous. I was pleasantly wrong. The show was high-energy and the new group really meshed together well. Setlist was primarily Candyass with lots of Vapor Transmission, only one song off of Punk Statik Paranoia and the new single, Grime of the Century. There are two setlists, you get the "better" of the two at larger shows so if you want to hear Eva and Revival, get your friends to go and fill up that venue! The meet and greet before the show rocked, the guys were really wonderful and very social with their fans after the show as well. Show your support for this band and head out to the show, you won't be disappointed. The extra cash for the meet and greet is well worth it in the swag and the experience!
The area was a little weird but overall the show was awsome!
Sorry for the late review I just saw some guy that said it was great and I wanted to clarify that it simply was not. This was awful, I mean really awful. How do you go from selling out stadiums to replacing the whole band and doing a crap performance. I definitely wouldn't spend the money. I seriously was embarrassed for Jay, I mean you would think after all these years he might remember some of the lyrics. The new band was off tempo and lacked energy. Get it together Jay, fire the new band and get the old guys back. This was possibly one of the worst shows I have ever been to.
