Oregon Ducks Women's Basketball History
The University of Oregon Ducks women’s basketball program dates back to the late 19th century, but the varsity team formed ahead of the 1973-74 season. In 1982, the Ducks qualified for the inaugural NCAA Women’s March Madness tournament. They have made 18 appearances in total, including a streak of eight consecutive berths between 1994 and 2001. Kelly Graves became head coach in 2014 and led the team on a run of sustained dominance with a core lineup that featured future WNBA players Sabrina Ionescu, Satou Sabally, Ruthy Hebard and Nyara Sabally. Under Graves, the Ducks advanced to the Elite Eight in 2017 and 2018 and the Final Four in 2019, while also securing three of Oregon’s five regular season conference championships and two conference tournament titles. The Ducks have also competed in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament six times, winning the championship game in 2002. In 2024, Oregon moved to the Big Ten Conference.

Had a great time seeing the greatest womens Basketball player in Oregon's history.
It's always a blast watching the Ducks play! The band members were slightly obnoxious; not their music, but the taunts they were yelling out...or when the saxophone player tried to walk through the bleachers and tripped and fell over half of us. Other than that, it's one of my favorite things to do!
This was another history making game we won!!!!thankyou Ticketmaster it was a sell out glad you found us tickets or I would have missed the team dining posters and shirts and everything ....was a bast
The Game. Fantastic. Parking sucked. Seats, location fine.. but like sitting on a hillside..and crammed tightly. May sound like sour grapes but my feet were tucked under my posterior..seating packed tight. Team USA was great.. Lady Ducks were better.
Great seats and wonderful people around us made a first time experience amazing for us. Thank you
Buying tickets was extremely easy and my mom could transfer my ticket right to my phone super easily! It made getting in the game a breeze and I will definitely use this again
It was easy buying the tickets and printing them. The game was great. U of O needs to do better on routing cars around trying to find a parking lot that has spots open. It would be nice if they would open lots back up on the Springfield side for more convenient existing after the event and would probably help with congestion toward Eugene.
Loved every minute. The Ducks were on their game as were the USA players. It was a highly competitive game from start to finish. The respect the two teams showed each other was perfect. This is true sportsmanship. Respecting a great opponent. So much fun! I can't say enough. So proud of our Ducks, so appreciative we got to see the USA team. All great athletes with exceptional character. Thanks so much for this experience!
Easy getting into the venue with the tickets on our phones. Quickly navigated to our seats in the well marked arena, and had great seats for a spectacular game between the two best basketball teams in the world. We were not disappointed!
Best game ever!! Go Ducks!! Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
My first time I've attended a college game and this was so exciting to be there instead of watching it on the TV
This was one of the best games ever the women ducks put on a great game
12,000+ in attendance for the women’s Civil War basketball game and it could not have been a more exciting and entertaining experience. It was even better because it was a close game until the end with the Ducks winning. I always look forward to seeing the great Sabrina Ionescu play. One more in Corvallis coming up.
Easy process. Great seats. Incredible stadium. Best fans
Amazing venue and great game. Not a bad seat in the house.
One of the most thrilling events I’ve ever experienced. And I worked on Broadway! Those Ducks ain’t no decoys, they are the real deal. Best women’s team since the heydays of Tennessee and UConn. But UO needs at least a small band and a truly vocal cheer squad in the stands. We civilians can’t scream the whole time! Go Ducks!!!
We love going to UO Women’s B.B. games. They are special. But — every event we’ve attended at Matt Knight has turned into a hassle due to lack of parking options. This is a source of frustration for many, many people.
Everything was stellar, with one exception. Traffic control at Franklin Blvd and Villard St (NE corner of the Matty) failed to inform or advise drivers at 40 minutes to game time that all parking lots to the south of the arena and Franklin were already full, causing a 20 minute circuit around the arena, back across Franklin to plentiful parking on the north side of the arena. Big snafu that was totally avoidable.
Always a great time in MKA! The women’s games are full of excitement and always fun to watch
i Enjoy wastching women play. It is more about team work than the mens
