Oregon Ducks Football at Autzen Stadium
The Oregon Ducks have a storied and unique heritage as one of the premier programs in the nation, appearing in national title games in 2010 and 2014, and being a consistent presence in the national title hunt. Mario Cristobal is in his second full season coaching the Ducks, and previously led the FIU Panthers from 2007 to 2012 before stints as an assistant under Nick Saban at Alabama and Willie Taggart at Oregon. Oregon is part of the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference, where they've won four division titles and seven Pac-12 titles, in addition to four conference titles when they were part of the Pacific Coast Conference and a combined three Rose Bowl victories: in 1917, 2012 and 2015. The Ducks play at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, which opened in 1967 and has a current capacity of 54,000.
History of Oregon Ducks Football
The University of Oregon first fielded a football team in 1894. From the 1920s to the ‘60s, Oregon's athletic teams were officially known as the Webfoots, but the name "Ducks" was used interchangeably, with a version of Donald Duck approved by Walt Disney eventually becoming Oregon's official mascot. The Oregon Ducks have a rich tradition of star quarterbacks, including Pro Football Hall of Famers Norm Van Brocklin and Dan Fouts, and 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, and is also the proud alma mater of such NFL legends as Haloti Ngata, Ahmad Rashād, Mel Renfro and Gary Zimmerman.
In addition to its regular opponents in the Pac-12 North, the Oregon Ducks have two main rivals: the Oregon State Beavers and the Washington Huskies. In a rivalry that dates back to 1894, Oregon and Oregon State finish their regular season with the Civil War. The 1983 contest, which involved terrible weather and sloppy play for all involved, was dubbed the "Toilet Bowl" and is the last scoreless tie to date in FBS history. The Oregon/Washington rivalry dates to 1900, but intensified in the ‘90s with the rise of Oregon's program under Rich Brooks and Mike Bellotti. In 2018, Oregon upset No. 7 Washington in overtime and defeated Oregon State 55-15 on its way to a victory over Michigan State in the Redbox Bowl.
Great veiw need more bathroom food and drink hard to get game was great
Amazing experience minus the fact they doubled sold out seats , luckily the people were very nice and we decided to squeeze in and still have a great time!!!!
Fun...............,...,........ Fun. .............. .. .. Fun......,. ..,...
This game was literally the best experience ever totally recommend to everyone
My cousin-in-law and I screamed like little girls when the Ducks scored the winning OT score!! Highly recommend this venue as the fan's enthusiasm at Autzen is palatable and highly infectious.
The weather, the atmosphere, the fans and the football,,,unbeatable....just like the Ducks!!
Great game and best college football game experience in the Pac 12.
Incredible venue, great stadium and campus, this is a must for any college football fan.
Great game! Great seats! Easy ticket purchase!!!!!
My wife and I had been season ticket holders for 24 years and dropped them after last season. So, we decided to buy tickets to the Stanford and Washington games. This was the first game we have been to with the new policy to allow alcohol sales inside Autzen Stadium. There were many people in our Row who were constantly getting up from their seats to go get more beer and wine. They continually brought back 2 or more alcoholic beverages on each trip. Needless to say we were continually getting up to allow them past us and it caused us from enjoying the game. We came to watch the game, obviously some many came to drink alcohol. With all the back and forth trips for more beer etc. we had both beer and wine spilled on from people in our row and the row behind us. In our 24 years we have never had beverages spilled on us, ever! In the mid 4th quarter an inebriated man trying to out of the row behind us fell on top of us. Thankfully we were not injured, but surely could have been. This was the first time that this has ever happened in 24 years as well. There were multiple issues with drunk fans where alcohol monitors and Eugene Police and we’ve only seen that a couple of times in 24 years. All in all this was the worst game day experience we have ever had and it all stemmed from excessive alcohol consumption! We will go to the Washington game, but after that, we shall see. If the alcohol sales policy is not reversed, we will never return to Autzen Stadium! This is really sad!
The tickets and our seats were great! The people around were nice!
Great seats but it was hard to pay over $100 per seat when they were selling on the outside for less than $50
Any game at Autzen Stadium is special as the crowd is amazing and the Ducks are an exciting team to watch.
Great seats and great ticket prices. Of course we won the game and can't wait to go back. GO DUCKS
The game was awesome. Our seats were a little close to the tunnel so people coming in and out were slightly distracting when we were sitting, not as bad when we stood.
I had a lofty view!! Great seats ! GO DUCKS All the way
The stadium is first rate, plenty of security and staff, food options need to be severely updated
Wonderful venue for participating as a sports fan. Bring your earplugs because the crowd noise was off the charts. Memorable experience. Staff, traffic control, fans knew the drills.
This had to be one of the best games I have gone to in quite awhile! The seats were perfect to see everything!!
