Oregon Ducks Football at Autzen Stadium
The Oregon Ducks have a storied and unique heritage as one of the premier programs in the nation, appearing in national title games in 2010 and 2014, and being a consistent presence in the national title hunt. Mario Cristobal is in his second full season coaching the Ducks, and previously led the FIU Panthers from 2007 to 2012 before stints as an assistant under Nick Saban at Alabama and Willie Taggart at Oregon. Oregon is part of the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference, where they've won four division titles and seven Pac-12 titles, in addition to four conference titles when they were part of the Pacific Coast Conference and a combined three Rose Bowl victories: in 1917, 2012 and 2015. The Ducks play at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, which opened in 1967 and has a current capacity of 54,000.
History of Oregon Ducks Football
The University of Oregon first fielded a football team in 1894. From the 1920s to the ‘60s, Oregon's athletic teams were officially known as the Webfoots, but the name "Ducks" was used interchangeably, with a version of Donald Duck approved by Walt Disney eventually becoming Oregon's official mascot. The Oregon Ducks have a rich tradition of star quarterbacks, including Pro Football Hall of Famers Norm Van Brocklin and Dan Fouts, and 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, and is also the proud alma mater of such NFL legends as Haloti Ngata, Ahmad Rashād, Mel Renfro and Gary Zimmerman.
In addition to its regular opponents in the Pac-12 North, the Oregon Ducks have two main rivals: the Oregon State Beavers and the Washington Huskies. In a rivalry that dates back to 1894, Oregon and Oregon State finish their regular season with the Civil War. The 1983 contest, which involved terrible weather and sloppy play for all involved, was dubbed the "Toilet Bowl" and is the last scoreless tie to date in FBS history. The Oregon/Washington rivalry dates to 1900, but intensified in the ‘90s with the rise of Oregon's program under Rich Brooks and Mike Bellotti. In 2018, Oregon upset No. 7 Washington in overtime and defeated Oregon State 55-15 on its way to a victory over Michigan State in the Redbox Bowl.
Great game great venue best team in the world !!!!!!
I know there is nothing Ticketmaster can do about weather, but it was freezing and pretty miserable at the game. And we had to stand for almost the entire thing as the people in front of us would never sit down. So not a great experience. The game was great and Oregon won. That was the only good part of the ordeal.
Game was good as always, however the venue was not prepared for the freezing temps and ran out of hot beverage cups prior to half time. There was no offer of a hot beverage in a soda cup or a reduced price for the travel mug being offered instead. Very poor planning when knowing that the temps were to be extremely low.
Great seats, Go Ducks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!$!!!!!
We purchased club level seats, 30, Row 68. Not sure what to expect because we have never sat in this section before. We were pleasantly surprised! The seats were great and the club level accommodations were wonderful, especially since it was so cold out! Would purchase these tickets again in the future.
Everything went perfectly. Loved the view. Loved the game. Love the stadium. Didn’t love the cold but we survived.
Great time with the wife watching the Oregon Ducks beat Arizona. It was 22 ago that my wife watched a Duck football game live, and it was against Arizona back then too, so that made it even more fun! Definitely more games to attend in my future...Go Oregon Ducks!!!
What a great college atmosphere at Autzen! Loved the school spirit, loved the seating not being aluminum, loved the tailgate at Moshofsky + I love that Duck!!!
My family and I had a fantastic time watching the Ducks beat Washington State. Attending a game at Autzen Stadium should be on everyone's bucket list!
Very polite fans, great view of the field from every seat, and it was very loud!
In the late 4th qt with what I thought was a bad call I realized I forgot my Rolaids.
The game was a great environment to be in. The seats were great (Section 16 Row 45) and lots of action. The people were nice around us, lines weren't too long for concessions, and even getting out of the stadium wasn't bad.
the game was amazing. the app for ticketmaster is really nice. its awesome to have it moved to my 'wallet' so i can quick access it for when it was time to enter the stadium. pretty fluid and simple. i may do ticketmaster again in the future.
Ducks games are an adventure! Being in the college environment of so many wanting the same goal of a DUCKS WIN is very cool. One of the best parts was when the stadium sang “Coming Home” the Oregon song....very fun! I do wish the PAC 12 conference would do something about that late of a game. Nobody around the country would ever see that exciting of a game! It was over around 11:30pm, 2:30am East Coast time.
Easy check in with the Ticketmaster app, enjoyed the game
We had a wonderful time, beautiful day, great people, great game
Our boys got it done yet again holding a team to single digits for the 4th game in a row. The Defense continues to shine and even though the Offense needs work, we can win the PAC-12 this year with a few adjustments.
What an awesome place to enjoy a College Football game! Its loud, awesome fan base and such a blast! What a rush to watch this team!
Best seats ever! Crowd was great! Had a great time!
Using the web site was easy. Mobile ticket was rasy to present. Sit that I selected was very good
