  • Nostalgia Galore!

by BigTeeMarsh on 2/20/23Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 4 out of 5

Great evening to relive some throwback music with a twist of actual instruments. Energy was hyped and the crowd participation just set the evening over the top! There were some sound quality issues and the venue was older so their wheelchair ramp was far too steep for the narrow aisle.

  • great night!

by mrs. kg on 1/27/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

this event hit every entertainment note i needed for it to and then some! it was truly a unique, age appropriate, exceptionally performed night of music and dance. i felt like i was in a room full of good friends and loved family! i have told anyone who will listen that they have to experience, not see, but experience this work of art! my only suggestion is for the female musicians', especially the violinists, instruments be connected to a mic or amplifier. it was hard to hear them during their solo performances. but we rocked out with them anyway! i plan to once again attend an orchestra noir concert.

  • Skilled Sound Engineer Needed

    by Kitty526 on 1/17/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

The concept was great, and the D.J. was flowing beautifully in keeping with the program. The conductor's energy was through the roof. The choice of songs was good. However, the sound engineer was awful. The Strings could not be heard and you could tell that they all were a talented bunch of individuals. The brass section likewise could not be heard except for the main Saxophone and guitar. It really was too much of the main saxophone and guitar and not enough of the other amazing talent on the stage. The mismatched volumes on everyone's individual microphones one hundred percent interfered with the cohesiveness of the songs played. It was irritating and distracting.

by LIVE --LOVE IT on 1/17/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Orchestra Noir was as awesome as ever.... There were five of us from teen to gen x to baby boomers. Orchestra Noir never disappoints. Only problem is we couldn't hear the solo violins. Fortunately this was not our first concert so we know how awesome they are. Clearly a five rating when the volume is amped up on those violins.

Orchestra Noir is amazing. The vibe is unmatched. Surprise special guests, crowd engagement, the Maestro, the solos, the harmony. Go see it every chance you get. Bring your boo or your bestie and don't forget your dancing shoes because you will definitely need to get in a 2-step!

  • Excellent performance of 90’s music!!

by Sweet Harmonies on 8/30/22Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Outstanding performance of 90’s music! Thoroughly enjoyed the entire concert, especially the first half. Venue definitely needs more parking lots for its patrons. Very appreciative of the delay in the concert start time to allow people time to find parking and get in their seats!

  • Awesome

by Nikki on 8/30/22Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Can’t wait to 11/4 to see them again. It was so much fun they need to make this an annual show. Crowd was so hype we were all dancing and having a good time. I have told friends that couldn’t make to get tickets for the next show.

  • Loved, loved, loved it!

by Sherita on 8/30/22Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show!! The energy was through the roof. The song selections were classic and I sang along to each one. One of my favorite parts was when the strings were playing alone at the end of "Brown Sugar". It was a beautiful moment. I also very much enjoyed the guitar player. He really rocked it! I will definitely be attending any other concerts Orchestra Noir put on. Keep it up!!
