Like so many other top-selling acts, OneRepublic’s path to success involved legendary producer Timbaland, whose 2007 remix of the band’s song “Apologize” reached No. 1 in 16 countries and catapulted them to instant fame. Since then, the band’s chorus-heavy, hip hop- influenced pop rock has earned them worldwide recognition and a string of successful singles. With their third studio album Native in 2013, the band achieved their first Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and scored one of their biggest hits to date, the anthemic “Counting Stars.” Their previous album, 2009’s Waking Up, achieved similar success with hit singles “Secrets” and “Good Life.” A consummate live act, the band are known for the eclectic range of covers they perform at their concerts, including “Umbrella” by Rihanna and “SexyBack” by Justin Timberlake.”
Amazzzing concert!! love OneRepublic soo much!!!!!
It was my first concert and it totally rocked! I would love to go to another one of their concerts! I had the best and most amazing time!
OneRepublic is AWESOME live! They have the chello and violin working and the lead singer rocks the stage! Del Mar fairgrounds GA has pillars for obstructed views so be aware of them, but OneRepublic is awesome even if your view sucks!
I loved the smaller venue because we were really close!! (especially for the price of the tickets!) I had heard that OneRepublic wasn't very good in concert, but seeing them live definitely convinced me that rumor is a huge LIE! the energy of the band was amazing and even if I didn't know all the songs they were upbeat and entertaining! DEFINITELY EPIC!!!!
Excellent show! All musicians are incredible. The variety of instruments they use is amazing. The singer works his butt off throughout the whole show. They really do a great job. Loved it, would definitely go see again.
These guys put on a great performance LOVE the new album!
I thought OneRepublic live was amazing! Ryan Tedder's voice was clear and crisp and he hit every single note, despite a couple of instrument malfunctions. He didn't really talk or engage the audience as much as I'd hope, which left the whole concert mostly for his singing. So the concert was very short. I was amazed at how clear I could hear the cello- great sound control! I would definitely want to see them again, but maybe in a smaller venue, since I was pretty far back and the atmosphere back there was definitely not the same as the crowd in the front.
What a disapointment, the concert started at 8:05 pm and ended at 8:50. I wasted my money to go see this band that sang other people's music. 45 minutes long!!! sucked big time.
I love them!!!!!!!!! Very engaging with the audience. Incredible vocals. First time to watch them live.....do it again. Just an amazing band. The concert was kinda short but it was worth it...want to see more there were some technical malfunction but the show must go on...
OneRepublic is one of the best bands to see live! This is my second time seeing them & they do not dissapoint!! Incredible show to see & I will see them again! Alpha Rev opened for them & they were great too!
Despite One Republic being a fun band to watch, this particular show at this venue was not great. The venue itself sucked, the tickets were overpriced, and the band did not even have an opening act. All in all they played a very short set, leaving the fans disappointed that they had driven any sort of considerable distance and dealt with the fair traffic and parking. I would not recommend further concerts at this venue.
I have seen over 60 bands in concert. From old timers like Tom Petty to Third Eye Blind...always dedicated performers....rocking out till the stadium closed. After paying for "best ticket prices" and super excited to see a band we love so much...they came on at 7:40 and closed at 8:40...did I mention they were headlining!!!!! What a waste of talent. They are incredible in concert, and have such beauty in their words and performance...but an artist should love what they do and love their fans enough to cram in 2 hours of their music. They even played a cover song instead of one of their hits---Come Home....so truly disappointing. If they want to play for an hour...be an opener for a big band.
The sounds were amazing and the seats were the best. The atmosphere couldn't have been better. I only wish that photography was allowed.
THEY SOUND EVEN BETTER IN PERSON THAN ON THEIR CD'S. THE BAND PUTS OUT A LOT OF ENERGY AND THE SINGING IS AMAZING. BUT THE CONCERT WAS WAY TOO SHORT. NO ONE COULD BELIEVE IT ENDED SO SOON.
OneRepublic played for only an hour. They must not have enough songs as they also played 2 songs (Stand by Me and Sexy Back) that were not their own. Saw Kenny Loggins a week prior at the fairgrounds and ticket was $20 less and he played for 2 hours. Of course, every song was his and well known. On a positive note, loved OneRepublic's sound. Wish we could have heard more of them.
Awesome concert with unforgettable moments! Unfortunately it was held to not much over an hour and therefore really a bit too short! Make better next time please!
I was really disappointed by OneRepublic's set last night @ the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO. #1. Their sound engineer should be fired! I read another review with a similar problem in a smaller venue (the 1st Bank Center is an arena). You could barely hear the vocals over the deafening drums. #2. Ryan Tedder is far too cocky for his own good. I've seen hundreds of shows over the past decade, and it's been a long time since I listened to a lead singer go on & on about his talent. Humility is key. Be gracious of your success and your fans. #3. The band's encore wasn't even their own music! They rounded out the show with the White Stripes' 2003 hit, Seven Army Nation ... with a "remix" to Justin Timberlake's Sexy Back in the middle. It was completely bizarre. #4. OneRepublic only played for an hour and five minutes, from 8:45pm to 9:50pm. This also included Ryan Tedder running off stage every other song, while his band played the beginning of the next song over and over. So disappointing. I've followed the band's success since their early roots as a local Colorado Springs band - and I was really looking forward to finally seeing them live. I actually like their music LESS now that I've seen them in concert ...
Definitely worth seeing, loved it. I look forward to seeing them again. Just wished they would have played a tad longer.
This is my second Onerepublic concert and it was better than the first. They were amazing and so nice! A must see!
well done show by one republic. the mix was pretty muddy though...often hard to hear vocals amidst the huge drums, which they had too high in the monitors. for a small venue like troubadour i would have preferred a more stripped down show...i felt like i should have been in a big hall for the epic music they were playing. but all in all, Tedder had great showmanship and vocal ability and the band sounded great.
