It was very frustrating that the sound system was problematic. We sat in the 4th row center of the orchestra. In the beginning the sound was so loud, I had to hold my ears. However, the biggest issue was that I couldn’t understand the words. We were lucky that there was open caption that night, so I could look at the screen and get a sense of what was going on.
What an amazing show! The details, the show and storyline, we left out in awe. I wish we had time to attend another show, that’s just how good it was.
Getting through security was fast and efficient. Made it with enough time to take pictures with the backdrop they had out there. It is a 90minute show with no intermission and they made sure to stress that so you weren't waiting for a break to use the bathroom or get drinks/snacks. That was very helpful information. We found our seats pretty quickly with the help of the usher. The way they told us to turn off our phones went right along with the theme and feel of the play. The show was magnificent from start to finish and you could really become engaged. The mics provided great sound. Loved the music. And all of the actors were at their best giving it their all. I loved this broadway show soooooo much. I would see it again if i ever get the chance
I love happy end stories, but don't mind sad stories. Once on this island has sad ending that didn't add up right. The poor girl didn't get the rich boy because of social status the boy couldn't over come. She died and became a tree to symbolize triumph. I didn't any see anything of evolution of class struggle that gave hope. So, the ending was just not connecting well at all. The music, singing, dancing and stage presence were good but the ending story line didn't connect well with its up beat music. It didn't show sign of hope that it could have for the future.
The cast had infectious energy. Each character was marvelous to watch. They were captivating the entire 90 minutes! It was just an AMAZING performance to watch!!! A must see. :-)
Once on this Island is amazing! We were able to sit on the stage for the show, which is an incredible experience. I highly recommend this show! One warning- You’ll be singing the songs for weeks afterward!

This show was so beautifully done. From set design to the music. The entire cast was beyond talented. It was worth every penny.
We saw Once On This Island and had stage seating. It was amazing!!! So much fun to watch the show and feel like a part of it. We got to interact with a few of the characters. I would most definitely recommend seeing the show from the stage!
