    Great selection of their music

by GloriaEstefanfan on 8/21/17Marquis Theatre - New York

I have been a fan of their music for years! This was a terrific presentation of their walk and struggles personally and professionally. The depth of their songs covered throughout the performance and the sensitivity shown toward the accident and recouperation period is beautifully handled. The show is beautifully presented and is a class act.

    On Your Feet Concert

by Hayley13 on 8/21/17Marquis Theatre - New York

The music was amazing! If you didn't know better you could swear it was Gloria Estefan singing. The choreagraphy was engaging. It made you want to get up and dance in the aisles. The story line was very interesting and very personal. I was surprised at what they went thru to get to the top! Overall the story was absolutely beautiful! I'm sorry it had to end.

    On Your Feet was incredible!

by Julies527 on 8/21/17Marquis Theatre - New York

I love Gloria Estefan and although I've never been blessed to see her in person, this was my chance. Ana and Ektor were the perfect choices for these roles. The love for one another shone through the whole play and the musical talent went beyond expectation. The rest of the cast added another dimension to the main characters, each with his or her own special quality. The children were incredible. Reminded me of my childhood. There is so much talent in this play, so I expect to see many of these actors in many more genres. Gloria and Emilio deserve a lot of credit for choosing the special talent that appeared in this play. I would have come back to see it again, if it weren't closing. Thank you for a chance to have Gloria in my heart.

I was "On My Feet" at the end

by Sati74 on 8/21/17Marquis Theatre - New York

This musical about the amazing, talented Gloria Estefan had me "on my feet" by the time the show ended. I went with my sister and my niece, and we had a ball, dancing and singing to our favorite Gloria Estefan songs. I am sad that this wonderful musical has run its course, but I am glad to have experienced the music and the magic up close.

Last 4 performances, and the lead is an understudy

by Mimitatoo on 8/20/17Marquis Theatre - New York

I made the trip from Philly to see one of the last 4 performances of this show, which had been so well-reviewed. Only to find that the LEAD Gloria was being played by an understudy. Not what I expected and totally sleazy of management given all the promotion around "see the last shows". The show itself was pretty mundane, but the music was catchy and the audience apparently full of Miami Sound Machine fans and many evidently repeating having seen the show. The understudy was "fine" (though the belting was uncomfortable and she actually didn't move that well) but the other leads were excellent in their roles -- and the band and ancillary dancers were terrific. The whole Latin music was upbeat and restorative. Everyone warmed up and a good time was had by all. Good to see but not an "appointment" show.

    The greatest show ever

by 2325 on 8/20/17Marquis Theatre - New York

The cast and performance was excellent. All the songs was great and brought back good memories of the 80's. the storyline about Emilio and Gloria life was good and funny. The cast who play their character was very good. I was sad to hear about Gloria mom passing in June. It's also sad the show has to end.

    Terrific Story, Music, and Dancing!

by amp322 on 8/19/17Marquis Theatre - New York

I love Gloria Estefan's music, and was dying to see this show. Went the last week of the Broadway run, and sat in the second row! The band is absolutely terrific!!!! (No fake music/synthesizer sounds here....!!!) Actors were great. Dancing was great! The only thing I can criticize is that not every singer among the supporting roles had a great voice, and some sang out of tune. Overall, though, the show was excellent. Well done, with how the story of her life and career are told. The original Emilio came back for the final week of the run, and I didn't sense a really close chemistry between the leads. They both did a great job, though. The woman who plays Gloria is perfect for the role. The show is apparently now going on tour. It is a really fun show to attend, and if you like Latin music and dancing, it is a guaranteed good time
