by Concert go-er on 10/7/24Big Night Live - BostonRating: 2 out of 5We were a bit disappointed with this concert. First doors opened at 10 but got changed to 9:30. We thought great, we won't have to stay out as late. We get there at 9:30 and between 9:30-12:15, four different DJs play. So many people in the crowd were confused; nobody knew when he was getting on. By 12:30, we had been standing for 3 hours and we were so tired that we just left without seeing the person we paid to see. Also, Boston's public transport ends at 12:30am, which means he performed after that and people were forced to Uber. A lot of people also had to leave before the main act since they had no other choice. It was appalling to us that the schedule was not listed anywhere. Had we known that he would not be on for 3 hours, we would have planned accordingly. There is nothing wrong with having 3 openers. But not listing the schedule anywhere, especially for a city like Boston with limited public transportation, just seemed unfair.
A Life-Altering Experience

It was an immersive event that made me feel emotions I’ve never felt. I laughed. I cried. I had the sudden urge to buy pickles. Satire mixed with pure comedy mixed with music mixed with WWE mixed with a cow and a mullet and an orchestra. Oliver, singing happy birthday to your grandmother (which I only did because it might be her last) was great. Everybody must see him.

I noticed he is very interactive with the audience by always going to each side of the stage. Played songs from every album and had little skits to introduce each Act which provided a narrative throughout the concert. The openers were great too, the standout being FIDLAR. Didn’t know who they were prior to going to this concert but they got a new fan now. The Alone In a Crowd Tour was one the most fun concert experiences I have had and can’t wait to see what Oliver Tree has in store next.
