Oleta Adams was fabulous!! She sings from her heart and soul. I can't wait for her next album.

Oleta has great stage presence. I enjoyed the show.

What a wonderful talent. Oleta is a truly gifted performer and vocalist. She connected with the audience on so many levels. She gave an amazing 2 hour performance sharing most of her new songs from the new CD!

She has the ability to bring the gift of life and vibrancy to an evening of pleasure. I have traveled to see Oleta at the Birchmere for the last 4 or 5 years. We also like that she respects her audience enough to sign the coveted CD's.

Petite woman, big voice! Marvelous singer and entertainer who nicely sets up her songs and talks to the audience in a very personal way. Dazzling smile! Well worth the price of admission.

I've seen her several times. Her gospel music especially was wonderful, but I always like hearing the older stuff too. The sound level was a bit too high, but she's great.

Oleta is one if the greatest musician, singer and song writer of our day. Her lyrics are moving and meaningful. I look forward to her return!

Oleta Adams is one of my favorite performers, and she didn't disappoint. She was very comfortable in front of the audience, and very appreciative of the support she was getting from us. I found the middle of the concert somewhat boring, but the opening, and especially the closing, songs were worth the whole concert.

Oletta is just an incredible spirit that shares her wonderful gift through her amazing music.

This was my third time seeing Oleta Adams at the Birchmere and she has topped every performance beyond expectations.

OLETA ADAMS has every ingredient of a mega-star but at heart is a humble soul, an entertainer who delivers! There is a coherent ‘kindness’ within Oleta that shines through when she performs, from the heart. To be in the presence of this entertainer is to feel humble. Her velvet voice never strains, her delivery is honest, and her ‘work’ imbibes herself, her backup vocals, her band and her audience. Oleta is always appreciative of her audience – having seen her perform to packed concert halls, supper clubs and in very intimate settings, one always leaves feeling convinced that she was singing just to YOU! I wish super-stardom for Oleta for she is incredible and deserving – but in the same token, I hope that she never gets that BIG that she just ‘sings’ as opposed to ‘works’. A mega-star now and forever in my opinion, I will never miss a performance by the incredibly talented OLETA ADAMS. If you see her billed to perform near you, don’t question – simply ‘Get There’!

The performance in the B.B. King Blues Club and Grill was awesome. Oleta is so close and makes you feel almost like being her friend. Her voice is unbelievable and so are her songs. We loved it! We hope to see her again in a small setting like this. BTW: the wine was super too!!!

All of my expectations were exceeded on this evening. She connected with all of her audience members from the very moment she stepped onto the stage. Oleta's earthiness, charm and grace were evident and pivotal to her success that night. The new CD is phenomenal, I haven't stopped listening to it to this day. It has infected me so well that I have to hear it at least 3 times a day. I have recommended her to family and friends. Oh and by the way, the venue was very warm and comforting. I brought two guests along and we just had a fantastic time.

Having "discovered" Oleta when Tears for Fears released Sowing the Seeds and seeing her on the subsequent tour of 1990 it has been a real privilege to see her twice at BB Kings after all these years. BB's is always an intimate setting and Oleta brings the house down with her stellar vocals. With a new CD released entitled "Let's Stay Here" Oleta returns with well crafted lyrics and soaring vocals. The next time she makes a stop at Manhattan's BB Kings plan on attending.

oleta gave one thousand percent of herself...in effort, in tone, in audience rapport, in soul, in energy, in message....you name it, she delivered. we actually were in the SECOND show of the nite, and she actually was still graciously meeting her fans in line after the first show till about 3 minutes before she had to walk on stage for show two, at which point she immediately established her normal warm, funny, sincere rapport with the packed crowd, and proceeded to sing all styles, pushing the use of her voice unbounded for our benefit. you would never know that she traveled, gave more than one show, or anything else that might tire her out or detract from her focus----she gifted us with her totally unique and glorious voice and personality from beginning to end. oh, and, by the way: this is NOT a publicity tour just to advertise her new album...every concert is varied and personal. anyone who goes to hear her already loves her to bits, and just can' t get enough of her soulful, heartfelt, personal messages of love. anyone who is lucky enough to hear her, whether live or recorded, has been blessed!

I turned up 5 mins late (as always!) and immediately thought the young warm-up act sounded really good. I quickly realised, yes you've guessed it, that it was Oleta herself looking about 40 (she's 56) and still sounding like an angel. She shared some personal stories and amusing quips as she went from one great ballad to another before finishing with her swansong; Get Here. All in all a superb performance and the audience loved it. The venue is homely and the acoustics good.
