OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW

RETURN TO AUSTRALIA IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER

PERFORMING “BLONDE ON BLONDE”

WITH SPECIAL GUEST VALERIE JUNE

Acclaimed Statesiders OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW will return to Australia for the first time in eight years to play a string of East Coast dates this September and October, in addition to their already-announced performance at the Caloundra Music Festival. On their Australian shows, Old Crow Medicine Show will pay tribute to their music icon, Bob Dylan, by playing his seminal 1966 album, Blonde On Blonde, in full.

Hailing from the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Memphian and fellow Tennessean VALERIE JUNE, who has shared the stage with the likes of Sharon Jones, Sturgill Simpson, Jake Bugg and more, will join Old Crow Medicine Show on their Australian run, rounding out an authentic ‘Taste of Americana’ double-bill for local audiences.

Old Crow Medicine Show and the beguiling Valerie June promise to deliver a night of authentic Tennessee tunes when they touch down in Australia later this year, traversing country, blues, roots and more, with a little bit of soul and gospel thrown in for good measure.

  • Did not disappoint.

by Terri on 8/24/21Victory Theatre - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We had never seen Old Crow Medicine Show in person and they did not disappoint. There was so much talent, energy & just down right fun in this show. Hoping to see them again soon. We also enjoyed the opening band Boy Named Banjo.

  • Interesting show

by Nobody on 8/24/21Victory Theatre - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Show was nothing like I expected having not seen the band in many years. Very different show from the mid 2000's. Felt like they were trying to take on a Vaudeville/Broadway/Opry type of presentation that has not come to fruition. The show had its moments although I missed the raw energy of their past.

  • A show everyone would love

by KyCardinal on 8/24/21Victory Theatre - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

A smaller venue, like Victory Theater in Evansville, IN, is the perfect place to see Old Crow Medicine Show. What a show they are. It was entertaining from start to finish. Each one of the band members has a multitude of talents so they keep switching instruments. I’m still not exactly sure of their musical genre. One song it’s pure bluegrass, the next it’s rock and roll, the next is classic country. These guys work so hard and played for almost three hours. I love their music and listen to their albums all the time. But until you see them live, you’re not getting the full effect.

  • Awesome, amazing, wonderful!

by Chris on 8/23/21EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Old Crow Medicine Show was amazing! What a great way to get back to experiencing live music. Such an energetic, fun show. Open band Boy Named Banjo was great, too. The venue, Express Live! was perfect.

  • BEST show I have ever attended

by Gingertk on 8/23/21EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Wow, just Wow! Old Crowe did not disappoint. The energy on stage was so contagious. I loved that everyone in the band, even the stage manager was included in the show and were all given a spot light! I will definitely see OCMS again and again! The venue, Express Live, in Columbus was amazing as well. I felt comfortable knowing that the crowd was either vaccinated for COVID or proved a negative test! This will keep me attending concerts in the future! Thank you OCMS for an amazing evening!

The show was super, high energy and wonderful music. Excellent showmen.

  • Never disappoints

by Buffaloroe on 8/16/21PNC PAVILION - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great time. Loved Molly! Great performance by her and she was amazingly talented. I was nervous about the new members but thought that went smoothly. Will always have a soft spot for Critter and Chance. The second absent fiddle was noticeable. The energy level is so mesmerizing as is the talent. We never miss a nearby show

  • Finally Live Music!

From park at the venue to walking in, seriously the smoothest transition to every part!! Love PNC Pavilion and will be back this week as well!!! What a great show!

  • Old Crow Doesn't Disappoint

by EJB on 8/16/21PNC PAVILION - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Old Crow brought the energy, and sounded great.

  • It was fine

by Djm on 8/8/21Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights - West FargoRating: 3 out of 5

So happy to be at a show again, but it was fine. Showed early forced to park in top row of garage, then walked past at least 4 useable entryways, to use the one available. Drink ticket system was a rip off. Opening acts were great! OCMS turned out to be more something like a Branson style revival show, than what I expected. Sound was fine, I’ll take it. 6.5/10

  • Old Crow Medicine Show

by CD on 8/5/21Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights - West FargoRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great concert. The Old Crows were entertaining and played great music. We would definitely see them again. The front performers were also good but they ran a bit too long. We were disappointed that the big screen was not activated. It was used for the advertisements before the concert, so it was working.

  • Awesome Show

by lwothe on 8/4/21Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights - West FargoRating: 5 out of 5

Even after being around for 20+ years the Old Crow Medicine Show still puts on one hell of a concert. It was great to get back out to live music and OCMS was just the right prescription!

  • Old Crow Medicine Show Shines

by Willy on 7/13/21Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

It's good for us fans that OCMS has not hit the "big time" so that we may continue to watch their spectacular live shows in small venues, such as Penns Peak. (A beautiful, well-run venue, by the way.) But this band deserves much more attention than they receive. Their energy is unrivaled and their shows are just plain fun. Keep it up boys!!!!

  • Fantastic

by Liv on 1/7/20Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I have to say this was an absolute awesome show. This made the beginning of the Nashville trip awesome. I would definitely go see them again!!! Have to see!!
