OF MICE & MEN IN CONCERT:

SoCal metalcore favorites Of Mice & Men have established themselves as one of the genre’s hardest-hitting live acts, consistently flooring fans with their aggressive sound and adrenaline-filled performances on tour. Former Attack Attack! frontman Austin Carlile is as ferocious as ever at the group's live shows, leading his motley crew through decibel-shattering sets of breakneck tunes while fans jump, thrash, and mosh with reckless abandon. From the hair-raising growls and screams of "Bones Exposed" to the bludgeoning drums and guitars of "You Make Me Sick", this is a can't-miss concert experience for fans of brutal metalcore mayhem.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Of Mice & Men formed in Costa Mesa, CA in 2009 and hit the ground running, writing and recording their self-titled debut album and shooting two music videos that same year. The record peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, drawing the band out for extensive touring including stints on the Squash the Beef and Vans Warped Tours. Lead vocalist Austin Carlile left the band for most of 2010 to undergo heart surgery, but he returned in 2011 with more energy than ever, leading the band on another year of tireless touring in support of their sophomore album The Flood. After several years on the road the band released their third album, 2014's Restoring Force, a critically acclaimed collection of songs that topped both the Hard Rock and Indie charts. An unstoppable live act known for their savage energy and blistering sets, Of Mice & Men shake ticket buyers to the core every time they take the stage.

Austin Carlile really knows how to get everyone up

by Inter5tella on 3/31/13The Clazel Theatre - Bowling Green

The crowd, while somewhat active for the 3 opening acts, seemed dead in comparison to their activity once Of Mice & Men came on. Austin knew just how to get the crowd going, and just helped get things going and really interesting. The set list was fantastic, and the way he insisted on crowd interaction (singing, movement, etc) REALLY helped the energy of the room. He also was very polite to all the fans, constantly interacting with those in front row and shouting to others as well. Not only that, but when asked they were kind enough to put on an encore. They sounded pretty much the same as they do on the albums, which is pretty amazing considering Austin has been rather sick lately. Kudos to them, they're a fantastic band and i'm definitely going to see them again next chance I have.

    GOood show

by realjr9 on 2/16/13The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

Show was fun, great and crazy as hell(as you can imagine). The thing i did not like was the venue. The Stone Pony is WAY TOO SMALL for OM&M..I walked in and expected another BIG area where the bands would be playing and it's actually right there as you walk in. Also, the no crowd surfing has its ups/downs but i did not like the venue. The bands were actually good and fun.

    This show was unforgettable!

by VansAlejandra on 2/9/13The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

This show was unbelievable. The way all the bands pumped up the crowd, we were all up off our feet in no time. There wasn't a single person without a smile on their face. This was, without a doubt, one of the best shows I have ever attended. The bands did an amazing job, I have no complaints about this event. Probably one of the best nights of my life.

    Of mice and men

by Lindseybagz on 2/9/13The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

Overall, of mice and men and the other bands put on an amazing show. Austin is loaded with energy. The crowd was intense during woe, is me, and got a little out of hand. Security kept on it pretty well. My only complaint is that I couldn't hear the singers in any of the bands because of mic/sound problems. Also, the guards kicked everyone out immediately, as usual with most venues but this felt a little too rushed.

all the bands were so great.. of coarse of mice and men killed at as always and overall the show was great.. the venue would be my only complaint, toooooo small for these bands, not enough room for them to get into it on the stage and no crowd surfing :(

Of Mice & Men blew me away!!!!

    by Anna96 on 2/9/13Royale Boston - Boston

I finally got to see OM&M after missing them the last few times they've been to Massachusetts. They were incredible. The crowd was going insane on each song. There was so much energy onstage. Austin Carlile's screams were incredible. Aaron Pauley's singing was beautiful. Even though I watched their set from the back, I still had an amazing time. I can't wait for them to come back soon!

    Unforgettable

by Ofmiceandcait on 2/8/13Royale Boston - Boston

It was the best night of my life. First off, the venue was perfect. Each band played amazing sets and played for a decent amount of time. Of Mice & Men made the experience personal for everyone in the audience. They played their best songs and had everyone get down on one knee during The Depths. It was actually perfect. For those who had VIP, Austin mentioned their names. They use every way possible to meet their fans and really listen to their stories. I told them mine and I will never forget the experience. If you like this type of music, you will love this concert. If you love the band, you will be in heaven.

Of Mice And Men was amazing.

by whiskeyhallows on 2/8/13Royale Boston - Boston

The venue was great first of all but all the bands, they played absolutely amazingly. Every last note was perfectly heard and all the bands had the crowd moving and going and were so awesome. The people at the venue were nice and it had a lot of space in the back for breathing room and just being able to walk a bit if the area around the stage was too packed. I had an amazing time at Of Mice and Men.

Show was amazing! Best concert I've ever been to! OM&M puts on an amazing show and all of the other bands (Capture the Crown, Woe is Me, Texas in July, Volumes) were fantastic!

    Show was AMAZING

by queensgoth on 2/7/13Irving Plaza powered by Klipsch - New York

This was the second time I saw them live and they were awesome like there were the first time. They sang every song that I love. They were very involved with the crowd and one of the singers even jumped up into the balcony. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The only thing I was not impressed with was when the show was over and they left the venue they were not interested in taking the time to talk to their fans. One of them took the time for like 5 mins and three of them went right on to the bus and the other singer went out a side door of the venue to avoid his fans. That totally turned me off the them as people and was quite disappointing.

    of Mice and Men... fabulous!

    by Lola127 on 1/29/13Masquerade - Atlanta

The concert was just great. Live of mice and men was unforgetable, and the other bands were great as well. Sadly Austin wasnt feeling well and had to cut the set, but it was still probably the best show ive seen so far.
