North Star College Cup Tickets

Games were great, venue was great, here's the bad: -Bought tickets 6 weeks in advance. Best available at that time were on club level but lower level was only 1/4 filled for 3 of 4 games. Lower level was 2/3 full for final game but I think it's because everyone just started moving to better seats. For the number of empty seats it should have just been general admission. That's what it turned into anyway. -Stupid to have on this same weekend as winter carnival parade, roller derby, cat show, etc.... St. Paul either has nothing going on or lots of things at once. Parade had west 7th shut down so it was hard to even get to parking ramps or street parking. Parking was available, you just couldn't get to it. If you didn't know to take the back way in via Shepard Road you were screwed.

4 great teams, including the #1 and #3 teams in the country. Four exciting games, all closely contested. Minnesota won the championship with shootout victory over rival UMD.

Love watching the Gophers - was exciting to see them win in a shootout! Timing of the event ... not sure anything can be done about this (the timing), but parking was horrendous ... coinciding with the Winter Carnival. Not good. Also, despite great seats in the Club Level, had to trek down to the 1st level to find food - many food stands CLOSED due to the game not being sold out. Come on, people!

Games were very exciting. We were in the club leve, which was full, but many of the vendors were not open. Half of the bottom bowl was empty for the championship gane was empty because the third place game fans left. I think they should sell single game rush seats to fill up the place.

The hockey at this event from all 4 teams that participated was incredible, the first game of the weekend and the last game of the weekend were gems. All the games were high scoring by hockey standards and the fans were great no matter who they were cheering for.

I thought the games were exciting and will definety do this again.

Had to bring my child to the first ever North Star College Cup and it was well worth it. Two days of hockey with a fantastic championship game. Had a blast!

This was a very fun weekend of NCAA men's college Hockey!

Could think of a better weekend in a long time. Back to back games both Friday and Saturday, great event for the State of Hockey. Get out next year for this event you don't want to miss out.
