We had lots of fun at the event! Thank you NDSU!!!
It was like no one talked to each other. We were told it was all general admission, as a matter of fact when I went to order the tickets I was only given the choice of general admission, there were no other seats. So we were told we would have to stand from 5:30 pm until the show was over which was about 9:00 p.m. Second, after standing in line at an entrance for over an hour, 2minutes before they opened the door they told us we could not use that entrance even though we had asked the event staff and they said all doors would be opened. While it was indoors, it was only 45 degrees which really didn't keep us that much warmer. The pre show was weird. All they did was have a DJ who played a lot of loud music, but really didn't talk about the Bison. The yell team was there but they never got to do a cheer. The marching band was there but they didn't have them standing together so the sound was different. All in all after 4 straight years, this was the worst pep rally they ever had even being inside. Oh yeah, I forgot the $16.00 mixed drink and $8.00 beer. I believe that to be the only reason they did not run out of alcohol because it was so expensive.
Allen Event Center and excellent choice. Nice to be indoors vs. in the open field like the past three years. Liked the tempo of the evenings schedule and the MC keeping us pumped up. prior to the main event. I would vote for the same location for next year.
the event was great very fun the cowboy got old but everything else was great
Great event again! Great atmosphere and it's always great to involve former players.
Event was great. Unclear tickets were for floor or for general seating. Parking ramp was okay, but exiting took a long time. Police guided vehicles out of the ramp, but exercised no control over stoplights. So only 3 cars (about) could exit with each green light.
Our fourth trip and fourth pep fest. By far the best. It was warm upbeat and fairly well orchestrated We love our Bison!!!
We had a great time. This was our first trip to Frisco and we will recommend it to others.
Great program. Inability to utilize tickets to enter the floor area was disappointing. Suites were difficult to access and amount of passes were less than promised. The councourse was crowded but provided opportunity to meet others.
It was a great time. Loved the pre-entertainment. the MC was great!
This event was electrifying! It was very cool to bring in the past Bison players and listen to them speak of their Bison football experiences.
The NDSU Bison pep rally held January 9, 2015 alone was good. The pre warm-up was totally unnecessary. Bison Nation doesn't need any extra stimulation for us to get motivated. You didn't need that DJ and his side kick playing songs. I feel the reason the 2 hour chatter was just to sell more beer. The temperature could have been a lot warmer. If we wanted to be cold we could have had it held outside.
Event was great. Only downside was the parking. It took over an hour to get out of the parking ramp. No one was directing traffic after the event.
I'm not sure why the band was literally smashed up against the stage?? And the floor was 50% filled and the other 50% wide open?? Poorly arranged layout. The band is a key ingredient and weren't featured well.
It was absolutely amazing! Awsome !!! Best pep rally ever
very nice job, well put together, kept crowd entertained till it started, nice event center
Inside of course was preferable to outside because of weather. The show moved along at a faster - better - pace! The prior players and the band did a great job. The biggest improvement came with the President - he was fired up and connected very well with the crowd. The movie is always a big hit! With the majority of the crowd older then student age the cheers show little response. How about - "Here we go Bison Here we go" and "lets go Bison" and leave it at that. The talk that Bohl would give on the Graig Bohl show about needing the 12th man at game time and how important that home town crowd is would be a good talk to give at that event in some form. Much improved - thanks!
No complaints, parking was great, all of your employees were super friendly and we had so much fun!
Great speakers to get you pumped up and excited for the big game!
I have been to Frisco/Dallas/Allen for all four NDSU Bison NCAA national championship football games and contributing events. The Celebration at the Allen Event Center was first class...simply the best pepfest of all four. Randy Holmes and crew should be proud. Should the Bison be fortunate enough to make it back to Texas for a fifth time, I will certainly urge the NDSU Alumni Association to strongly consider the Allen Event Center. Thank you!!
