NONPOINT IN CONCERT:

Florida five-piece Nonpoint has been shaking fans to the core with their blistering brand of nu metal since 1997. The band brings a whirlwind of energy to the stage at their live show, thrashing through hard-hitting yet melodic favorites like "Bullet With a Name" and "Alive and Kicking" with a passion and energy that drive their emotional lyrics home. From scorching guitar riffs and hammering drums to frontman Elias Soriano's soaring vocals, Nonpoint deliver an adrenaline-filled concert experience that both energizes and impresses, leaving fans rocked and ready for more.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Nonpoint formed in Fort Lauderdale in 1997 and quickly made a splash on the budding South Florida metal scene with their intense sound and captivating stage presence. After self-releasing their first album and releasing a sophomore album on the now-defunct Jugular Records, the band made their major label debut on MCA Records in 2000 with the Statement LP. The record put them on the national radar, earning them their first charting single with "What a Day" and drawing them out for touring alongside bigger rock acts like Fuel and Taproot. They followed up in 2002 with Development, an acclaimed album that landed at No. 52 on the Billboard 200 and led to tour dates with Filter, Papa Roach, and Sunset Black. The band continued to climb the charts throughout the late '00s with various releases, and in 2014 they scored their highest position yet when their eighth studio album The Return peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's alternative chart. Since then they've continued to wow fans with electrifying performances across the country, building excitement among ticket buyers for their upcoming tour dates.

  • Great show with some mediocre openers

    by dragonsheart27 on 10/7/12Alrosa Villa - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

I thought overall the concert was well worth the money. But some of the openers were very generic and one was absolutely awful. Taproot was my favorite band that performed and in my opinion should have been the main band. Nonpoint were pretty good. Black Oxygen was horrible and I couldn't figure out how they were even put on this bill. One Pretty Minute was pretty good and probably the best of the openers. Noise Auction were also pretty good. Evendale Drive would be amazing if they had a different lead singer.

  • Awesome show!

by ThatShowKickedAss on 9/6/11Birdys - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Nonpoint kicked some major ass (as always). 7 Day Sonnet and Kramus were great as well, especially 7DS. Kramus is now a new local-ish favorite of mine. The Holland Account started out great but really fell short. It seems like they played their best song first and then just went downhill quick.

  • AlwAys great

  • Nonpont was amazing

by Zruma on 2/7/11Fire - JacksonRating: 5 out of 5

Nonpoint not only has great music and lyrics, but their live performance is totally amazing. They know exactly how to engage the crowd and get them excited and on their feet. If I have the chance, I will definatley see Nonpoint again.

  • Nonpoint was solid!

by Pzanda on 2/7/11Fire - JacksonRating: 4 out of 5

It's always great to get some "name" bands in our neck of the woods. It has been a couple of years since I got to see Nonpoint, but still a solid show like the first. I always wish for a longer play time, but they mixed it up old school and new. Kept the small crowd bouncing and and my love for some hard rock pleased my craving.

  • Nonpoint gets better every time I see them!!

    by wbishop12 on 1/24/11State Theatre - St PetersburgRating: 5 out of 5

First saw them six years ago, and I swear, they just continue to get better. The set, I felt, was near flawless. And I have to give major kudos to the three other bands--With These Words I Fall----Straight Line Stitch----Nine Mile Drive. All were excellent! It was a great night of rock n roll!!

  • Nonpoint outshined

  • Nonpoint!!!!!!!

by twinkev on 1/23/11Firestone Live - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Nonpoint was awesome. They know how to make the concert a personal experience. They are fun to watch and their setlist is perfect for the concert atmosphere. The first two bands (screamo) only managed to make Nonpoint look even better. Only negative: (besides the first two bands) was that Nonpoint didn't play longer than an hour.

  • Nonpoint/Straight Line Stitch

by sarjake on 1/23/11Firestone Live - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Both rocked the house! All I can say is that I wanted more, more, more from Nonpoint, I would lose my voice before I stopped begging them to come back out onto the stage.

by Thorletts on 12/13/10Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Drove 2 1/2 hours for this one. Had no idea it was the last night of the tour. In This Moment completely dielivered. I wanted to see if she could deliver live and wasn't some studio miracle- In This Moment did not disappoint! Happy Birthday again Brownie! Your sister and the guys rock!! Nonpoint completely killed it! I have not been to a show that delivered that much intensity and got the crowd fired up in a long long time!! The Masquerade comes highly recommended-If you are EVER in the ATL this is a not to miss venue!

  • Nonpoint was okay, ITM & The Local Bands Rocked

by BRMdItch on 12/8/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

Nonpoint was having a load of technical difficulties that made the show less than awesome, along with their arguing amongst themselves. On the other hand, In This Moment, and the two local bands Disaster Fantastic, & Bind were off the charts.

  • Nonpoint / In this moment never dissapoint!!

by Lillylang on 12/7/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

They were both amazing! Nonpoint has such a great energy and gets everybody pumped up! I've seen them before and they were equally, if not, better than the last time I saw them. The lead singer from In this moment has great vocals and sings as well as she screams! She is amazing in concert! Also, absolutely LOVE LOVE the song In this moment sang with the lead singer from NONpoint. I never heard that song before but it was great! Hope they come back soon! I'll definitely be THERE!! :p

  • IN this moment kicked ass!!!

Amazing show in this moment was great. The opening bands sucked but I wasn't there for them so it didn't matter
