About

Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

  • Best NIN tour yet

by ShenaNINgins on 8/15/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The staging, lights, sound, projections, all of it was designed to support the emotion of the songs with maximum impact. The show flew by, and I was dancing too hard to feel time pass. Best concert ever. I've seen NIN many times but this was a level above.

  • Where is NIN?

by NIN fan on 8/14/25Rating: 3 out of 5

Show said it starts at 7:30. At 8:00 Boysnoize started. It’s almost 9:00 and I keep hearing the same beat over and over. I didn’t come to listen to this. Where is NIN? Most shows only play until 10:00. So we might get an hour of NIN is all. Super lame to listen to this Boysnoise with the same beat over and over for an hour.

  • Total professionals just killing it

by Wade on 8/14/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Best light show I've seen and fantastic set. "Closer"might have been the weak link shockingly.

  • Best concert I’ve ever been to

by Steph on 8/14/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to about 20+ concerts.. this one was hands down the best. Rogers had such great sound and nine inch nails really put on a show

  • Awesome

by HunterDono on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely unbelievable show!!!! NIN crushed it!!!

  • A Benchmark Performance

    by Charles H on 8/13/25Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Solid from the opener Boys Noize to the closer Hurt. Not a dull moment. Visuals were innovative and great. The band was energetic, and frankly just amazing. Trent Reznor is true showman, the best there is in my opinion. Such a great show. Thanks to the Moda Center and the Portland crowd for a night not soon to be forgotten. Next show… Swans :)

  • NIN - Better Than Ever

by JettaC on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

As a longtime NIN fan, I was surprised they were even going on tour again, given Trent and Atticus' work and success in the movie industry. But Trent and the guys did not let the fans down. I really enjoyed their use of an "A"stage and a "B"stage. I'd never been in this arena before and I *thought* I got pretty good seats. We were 3 rows in from the B stage...which meant, when the concert started, a curtain went up and suddenly, there was Trent, like 20 feet from me. They did two sets on each stage, saving the very raucous stuff for the big stage. But, I will say, I feel most artists like to end their shows "with a bang"and it would have been so easy to save something like "Closer"or "Head Like a Hole"for the end. Instead, Trent chose "Hurt"for the final number. It was touching and beautiful, and a fitting end to a great night.

  • Amazing concert!. I want to go again.

by MelY on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Really cool vibe. Trent sounded amazing!. The band was great.

  • At least they didn't cancel

by Tc on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Crowd never got into the performance. Band played only 12 songs and. I songs from the Fragile. Opening act was sad. Just a kid playing around with samples from old NIN tracks. I feel 3 stars is very generous.

  • The Rez nails it!

    by ~allzie on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

A really excellent show! As the Rez and Co raced from the small stage to a larger one, they offered up hit after hit from NIN’s voluminous back catalogue…would see them again in a heartbeat! 💅💅💅

  • Unpleasant Experience

by Kevin on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 1 out of 5

Venue was too cramped and too warm. I paid for seats to sit in, but everyone else is standing so I can't see anything. Seating areas should be enforced, or just charge standing room for the entire venue.

  • So Impressed By All You Do!!!

    by fiveDELTA14 on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Despite this being my 5th time seeing NIN…they never cease to one up themselves! Unreal show front to back! It’s one of those shows I can’t stop thinking about well after it was over. Wish them well on the remainder of the Tour and sad I probably won’t get to see them again on this tour. Well worth your had earned money!!!

  • The ultimate NIN experience

by purplepolecat on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I don't usually go to arena shows, but I made an exception for this and I'm very glad I did. Trent sounds great, the rest of the live band are great, the setlist was great, and the stage show was very well designed. This was honestly better than the last time I saw them in 2005.

  • Excellent show!

by Jojo on 8/13/25Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

NIN put on an excellent show! I'm so happy I got to see them again after 30 years. They did not disappoint.

  • NiN trent reznor thanks i loved it

by Crash on 8/12/25Oakland Arena - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Great sound system it felt like you were performing fir me and me alone. I was crying when it was over. You have such a great fanbase who would believe you could get a crowd together that looks like this and have such a peace driven rapore.

  • Spectacular show - odd opener

    by hillz_duck on 8/12/25Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Nine Inch Nails sounded tighter and louder than the last time I saw them in 1999. Its an all star band (Atticus, Trent, Josh!, Robin) and they sounded like it - wish they played about 5 more songs. They made the Moda Center sound surprisingly great. The opener was odd - an hour long DJ set that leads right into the first NIN song.. I hit the bar after about 20 min. This is a 'must see again' type show.

  • Trent never disappoints

by Dan on 8/12/25Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

My first Nine Inch Nails concert was in 2000 and it's always worth going when Trent comes to town. Amazing performance and show.

  • BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE, PERIOD!

    by Hilary B. on 8/11/25Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I knew that going to see Nine Inch Nails live for the first time was going to be incredible, but I had no idea what was in store for me and my daughter that night. We were completely blown away. The opening act, Boys Noize, was amazing. The seamless fluidity of both acts performing separately, then together, then apart was perfect! Three days later, I still feel a delirious satisfaction even more intense than after an exceptionally good lay. Thanks for an unforgettable night, NIN and Boys Noize!

  • One of the best concerts I’ve been to

by OB on 8/11/25Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Got to see Nine Inch Nails live, absolutely stellar performance and great music. If they tour again, I will be at the next concert to come into Portland. It was also my daughter’s first concert and it was a one of the best firsts for her. She also can’t wait to see them again.

  • Positive and grateful for everyone's contribution

    by Matt W. on 8/11/25Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time going to a NIN show, and the way things worked through the ticketing process was very established. I had a total blast! :D
