About

Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

I had the best night ever with NIN. Great music and amazing light effects. Great first part too with Boys Noize.

Amazing show. Super innovative. Great crowd. Great atmosphere. Huge energy. Loved it.

  • Amazing

by Tanie on 8/26/25United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

What a fabulous show, Trent opened on piano singing in the middle of United center in Chicago. Moved to main stage. I had chills. I only wish the venue was smaller and more intimate. United center is to large for my liking for concerts. Our seats were in the 300s which was the only option after virtual line let me in. Don't think I will go again if only 300 seats are left as an option.

  • Good not great

by 90s fan on 8/26/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

This show would've been great for a better priced ticket. The highest ticket price we've ever paid and there wasn't a true opening band. Just a DJ.. NIN put on a great 90 minute 20 song set. But lights cane on before crowd could chant one more song. The setlist was good, but missing some of the bands top hits..

  • Great Experience, NIN Rules!

by MusicFan on 8/26/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Tickets were not too badly priced at all for a last minute purchase, and the purchase of parking was a great help at checkout. Had a seamless driving in and out experience at a VERY full venue that held thousands of fans! Of course, this was for NINE INCH NAILS when they played Detroit's Little Caesar's Amphitheater. The seats were excellent and the view was fantastic. As always, Trent Reznor and the band were INCREDIBLE- the lights, the hits played, and the intensity behind every song were incredible. Reznor and crew put 100% into every aspect of the show. It went beyond my expectations and was worth seeing all around. I'm not sure what my favorite song was all around there were so many good ones, new ones, and classics. I do wish a few more from WITH TEETH would've been played, but that's just nitpicking and personal preference. The seats were comfortable, it was easy to navigate the amphitheater with a very helpful staff and buying T-shirts was quick and easy despite an imposing looking line. It actually went very fast and the line moved quicker than any Walmart line I've been in! I was blown away by that. The audio and level of music was excellent and I had a great time. My only "complaint"was a pretty "restless"audience as there seemed to be a constant streaming line of people walking up and down the stairs and needing out of their seats for endless drinks, snacks, and bathroom breaks, whereas I was there mainly to watch and enjoy the show, not hop up and down and back and forth so much. That said, the atmosphere was pretty chill and the audience was good with no other issues. So it's a mute complaint, I guess, that many people having to get up and down. It really seemed it was the same folks walking up and down, in and out, but whatever. All in all, had a great time and I would highly recommend Ticketmaster for good tickets and a great parking solution you can get at checkout. Whatever you do, don't miss NINE INCH NAILS in concert if they play near you! And if not, they're worth driving hours for as well!

  • What a wonderful experience

by Trentisgod on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Second time seeing NIN, such a great show. The performance is top notch, the music was great, the lights and displays were amazing. Trent and his fellow musicians really work hard to put on a great show. And I will keep going as long as he keeps touring. Never a disappointment always spectacular. You won’t be disappointed!

  • Awesome night

by JMW on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Nine Inch Nails played 20 songs, and each one was excellent. The production values were top notch, my minor gripe was their starting band (Boys Noize) was EDM and not my cup of tea. Trent started out with the first three songs just his voice and a keyboard, it was a captivating intimate performance. The dual stages worked well. Played for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Loved every second of NIN.

  • Best show ever

by Tanner on 8/25/25United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Epic performance from a legendary artist. Production value was 2nd to none.

  • AMAZING

by CLP on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

That one word sums it up… definitely in my top 5 concerts ever seen

  • Best show

by Stefk on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best concerts I've ever attended. It was amazing, and I hope to see them again!

  • Peel it back felt great

    by M'Legend on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Best arena stage arrangement and most intelligent use of curtains as projection surfaces I've ever witnessed. No glaring jumbotron or other giant displays. Our lower-cost side-stage seats were perfect. Everyone got a good viewing experience since it's wide-open. Music clear and loud, but didn't feel the need to put in my hearing protection. Set list was elite and cut deep in a few places. I had seen them before in 2014 with Soundgarden in an amphitheater and was worried an arena would feel soulless, but it was far from it.

  • Disappointing

by DJR on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

The sound quality was absolutely terrible. Having seen them 7 years ago at a much smaller venue that was probably the best show I've ever been to, was very disappointed in everything about this show. I love Nine Inch Nails but felt like they just phoned this one in at LCA. Perhaps the guys are just getting too old for this now.

  • Absolutely Outstanding

by Veronica on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

This show was absolutely outstanding. Everything from the opener, the merch and the crowd vibes set the tone for an awesome time. Trent and crew started out on a small stage in the center of the main floor and then moved back and forth between that and center stage throughout the show. This made it feel more intimate and personal. The set list brought back so many memories and made for an unforgettable night.

  • Awesome doesn't even begin to cover it

by Ash on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Nine inch nails had such a great performance and it was so interesting. There were two different stages set up and a camera operator so I never felt like I couldn't see what was happening. The special effects were amazing and I felt like I was inside of a music video sometimes it was awesome I want to go back! I've been to a lot of concerts and this one definitely is near the very top as as best show I've ever been to

  • Genius

by Ant on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

This show was pure raw and uncut genius! I honestly wish I could experience it for the first time all over again! I loved it! I will take this to the grave! This one was super special! All his concerts are amazing but this one, DAMN!

  • Perfection!

by Andrea B on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

We had floor seats, the sound was amazing, band was phenomenal, we loved how there were 2 stages, we had an absolute blast! NIN put on an absolutely perfect concert! Worth every penny & more!

  • I have never missed a NIN tour

by Jazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

And that is because they're the best and most memorable nights of my life. From seeing them for $25 all general admission show in high school to now being 40 and spending half a mortgage payment for premium seats, NIN has never disappointed. This was my husband's first NIN show too. As soon as the curtain dropped and Trent was onstage he grabbed my hand and could feel all his emotions and absolutely a dream came true and a bucket list concert was knocked off his list. Also, I swear Trent looked over at our seats when the concert ended and could feel all the love. My husband and I are both recovered addicts and so Trent is more than just one of our favorite musicians. He's an inspiration and role model.

  • Great from start to finish!

    by B.P. on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

It was an intense concert, from the first song to the last. I like how it was broken up into 4 different sets, with a wide range of songs from the albums. There was a bit of something for everyone with this energy-packed show!

  • Great show, great crowd too.

by Unreal on 8/25/25Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Had front row 2nd deck looking straight at stages. Seamless transitions into songs and stages. I have 1 complaint i really knew ahead of time sort of, but only 1 song from pretty hate machine. There best album by far imoo. Basically his "the wall"on 1 disc. But 8 from downward spiral, awesome.

  • Nine Inch Nails

    by Rob4509122 on 8/25/25United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen some amazing shows, from U2 to Van Halen to Pearl Jam. I have to say this was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Boys Noize did an amazing job setting the stage. Trent’s emotional opening on the small stage (seated at the piano, visibly wiping away tears) showed the amount of investment he had with the performance. I hope they continue live performances well in to the future as I look forward to seeing them again.
