This was an amazing show all around. Soundgarden rocked, and Nine Inch Nails was pure performance.
I went primarily to see Soundgarden since I've been a huge fan for years. I also like NIN but am now also a huge fan of theirs. On top of the incredible music performances, the overall show was visually stunning! Loved that they both played full sets.
I went to see Soundgarden but NIN stole the show. Great performance by Trent. I might have to go to the Auburn show.
Nine Inch Nails were fantastic! I went with my girlfriend to the see show in Las Vegas. Even though Trent Reznor apologized for a few "fuckups", the concert was a tour de force of great music and outstanding visual art. I was struck by the quality of the musicianship and the voice of Trent Reznor. These guys are at the top of their game! I also appreciated the staging that went on for this concert. Overall I highly recommend it!
I'm a Fragile fan and not one song from that album was played and it consists of 100% pure quality tracks. But always love being in the presence of Trent, and Soundgarden was a plus and comfortable opener.
The first opening performance (a dj with dark sound effects and weird graphics) wasn't our cup of tea so we didn't enjoy it at all, my husband even caught a nap. Soundgarden came on and got the crowd going. Once NIN came on....it was incredible! From the way Trent came out and started to the way they closed it out. We were consumed by the entire experience and would love to do it over again, minus the opening act. The special effects were just..WOW!! My husband has been to many of NIN concerts and this by far is his favorite. A must see!!
Best concert I have ever been too. The road trip to Las Vegas and showing up right on time was what made the concert even better. NIN killed it.
NiN is always great live. The visuals, new sounds to classics. Loved everything about it. Soundgarden was good too, except who ever was controlling their sound was awful to little vocals .
There are no words to describe it. Soundgarden was good as expected, but NIN...WOW. I would have paid the same price JUST to see NIN. Seen them three times and this was the best performance thus far. The venue sucks, but they made it amazing.
This show was awesome!!!! Chris Cornell sounded so good.
Soundgarden sounded awesome- loud and tight! Chris Cornell still has the vocal chops. Very impressed by their set. NIN did not disappoint either. Their minimalistic stage set was cool, and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. Both bands rocked, and provided an amazing experience. Loved it!!
First time seeing both bands. They both rock. And I would recommend this concert to anyone...
Sound Garden put on a pretty good show. They played most of their hit songs but there wasn't a lot of crowd interaction. Some bands that you go see have the singing along with almost every song. The sound quality wasn't there either. As far as Nine inch Nails.....Not a big fan....I thought they SUCKED. but not into there music. We left after 3rd song.
Soundgarden sounded excellent. Chris Cornell still possesses one of the most amazing voices in rock and Kim Thayil remains one of the best guitarists out there. That said, NIN was the reason I attended the show. They did not disappoint. They opened in a way I've never seen before, on a bare stage with the houselights still up. After all these years, Trent still finds a way to stage shows in a more interesting and surprising way that anyone else. For this tour, NIN is down to just four players. All the extra musicians and back-up singers from last year's arena shows are gone. Good choice. This is raw, back-to-basics NIN. The songs are the centerpeice. The musicianship is great (everyone in the band played at least three different instruments). My only regret is that as a co-headliner, they had to cut their set down to 90 minutes. But it was 90 minutes of pure NIN. Trent also announced that this is their last tour for a while. See them this summer, while you still can.
This showed was AMAZING!! Trent was awesome as usual. I like this venue.
Trent and the guys were incredible. The music, the stage and visuals were unforgettable. They played songs from each of their albums, which was wonderful and true to the fans.
I've seen hundreds of shows - this was the best ever. NIN (Nine Inch Nails) wasn't who I came to see. However, I will see them again, soon! The venue was good, but one seat was broken. The stage show by NIN was second to none. Blown away by it. The sound was studio quality - not sure how they managed to make a concert sound so mastered.
Soundgarden was amazing. Chris Cornell's voice was spot on! Great mix of new and older hits.
I've seen Nine Inch Nails a few times now. This was one of the best performances. The sound was great. I'd never been to the venue and was impressed. It was relatively easy to get in and out for the strip. Trent Reznor is amazing. Soundgarden didn't sound quite as good as NIN but I am biased of course. They were still decent, but not quite on the same scale. Go see it!!! Well worth it.
Soundgarden is why I went to this show, I had read NIN was opening and then Soundgarden would play. This was definitely a NIN crowd, the show should have have been billed as as a double headliner. Both bands were amazing, sounded so good. I did not like this venue for a rock show, the crowd was not into the music as much as I thought they would be. I don't know if it was the seating or just the crowd, but I did not feel the energy there like I have at other shows when two incredible bands are playing.
