Nimesh is a relatable guy, with relatable stories that just happen to be absolutely hilarious. He knows how to tell a story and he’s just the kinda guy you want to hang out with. Loved it!

  • So very worthwhile.

by Brian McQueen on 10/16/23Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I went with a friend who had no idea who Nimesh Patel was. I asked him to not watch anything and just trust. Upon exiting after the show, his first words were “I’d definitely see him again”. And. Think that encapsulates that night perfectly.

  • Liked openers better

by Amyz on 10/16/23Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

I’ve seen Andrew Schulz, Hasan Minhaj, and other comedians that aren’t as well known. Nimesh Patel was funny but I didn’t really enjoy the show. For instance, Andrew Schulz knows what’s going on in the city he’s in, refer to it, make jokes about it etc. Nimesh was talking about very specific things that happened in New York that we here in Toronto didn’t understand. Also, he tried to work the crowd, two parents and a daughter in the front, it was painful to see him attempt to make it funny. I met up with friends after that were at the show and we all agreed that the Persian and Black comedian that opened the show were way funnier.

  • fun show

fun opening acts, nimesh was terrific, especially when he went into more current material and pushed boundaries.

  • Great, but terrible sound

by Sound Guy on 10/16/23Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Nimesh Patel was great. His material felt fresh and honest. He was able to really connect with the audience while even in a bigger venue. Only thing that sucked was the venue. Terrible sound and volume for people in the back row and balcony. Out of performer's control, but the one downside of the night.

  • Monumental

by Nassir on 10/16/23Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I did not recognize Nimesh jokes from the YouTube shorts, so I was pleasantly surprised. He seemed even more natural in person, and he talked about real things too. I had many good laughs. Best show I've ever attended, but I haven't attended that many.

  • Awesome Show!

by KhanU on 10/16/23Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time watching a stand-up performance and I picked Nimesh as I have been following his content for years and it resonates with me. It was a blast. He was funny, cool and a great stage presence. The comedians before him were pretty cool too. Specially Hassan. Would definitely try to catch his next show.

  • Easily would go again

by Parth Shuks on 10/15/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Even if you’ve seen him before, this is a must-see if he’s in your city. Brought my family to see him and my friends separately. 100% recommend and hoping he comes back to NJ again soon! We still laugh about the Mike Pence bit every presidential debate

  • Trash

by Jas on 9/25/23Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 2 out of 5

He was unprepared and just had questions asked for more than half of the show, not a set to go on tour with.

  • It's fast...it's loose...a must see

by Garry V on 9/25/23Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Nimesh is fresh and kept us laughing all night. The only issue was a sore neck from looking up from the front row! He was nice enough to do a meet and greet with everyone after the show. Money well spent and would pay to see him again. Mike Spence.....we know...if you know!

  • Opening acts stronger

by Gigi on 9/25/23Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

The opening acts were great! Nimesh was okay. The show had some funny moments but it seemed like it wasn’t a thought out set. I know he’s got a slower delivery style but it seemed to lack a rhythm or pace necessary to keep momentum and hold interest. Some of the jokes were also just not funny and felt sort of disrespectful — especially, considering his audience. Not sure how someone jokes so callously about a social Justice advocate we just learned was assassinated by a foreign government? There wasn’t even any acknowledgment or grace. Just joke. Ha ha. Done. If you’re gonna use someone like that at least show some care for what happened. And the end had a question and answer period that just never seemed to end. I was with 5 other people of various ages and ethnicities and we all felt the same way. It got boring at the end and we had to leave (to get elsewhere) and didn’t get to see the end. No idea how it could have ended with any sort of pop because it just fizzled for us. No one was disappointed to have had to leave early. Many other people were leaving early as well. This was not Trevor Noah between the scenes. People paid for a show. 30+ minutes of just the audience yelling out random stuff is not entertaining. I’ve never left a review before but this show needed it. One of my friends said it felt like he was nearing the end of his tour and didn’t care anymore and that was definitely the vibe. Checked out. Over it. I will check out some of his other specials online. I think they may have been funnier. This was not though. Don’t think I’d pay to go to future shows. Anticlimactic. I can’t even remember funnier moments because the show ended with such a snooze fest.

  • Everything we hoped for

by Mikey on 4/26/23Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

He was awesome! So funny and honest, just as we expected him to be. I loved that at the end of the show he allowed people to ask him questions about personal things. He is humble and that was cool to see. He was hilarious and I’m glad we got tickets! We will definitely go see him next time he come to Dallas!

  • First opening name?

    by N. A. on 4/24/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Can someone please write the name of the first guy who opened today? 04/23/2023 He absolutely killed it! The whole show was good!

  • Amazing

    by H. P. on 4/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Wholesome, reflective, impactful and hilarious work. Loved it. Will continue to watch live.

  • Not Impressed

by Bay Area Baddie on 1/25/23The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 2 out of 5

The opening act was OK, the second act was better but still meh. Patel was disappointing. I think I laughed hard once and we ended up leaving a little early because we weren’t enjoying it. The jokes were bland or had an inside joke sprinkled in that only some understood. We were disappointed with the event and purchase.

  • So good

by Blimp Limp on 1/24/23The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The openers (Sydnee Washington and Shang Wang) were hilarious. Nimesh killed it. He is a gifted story teller who can artfully weave in jokes. He asks for questions at the end and unfortunately the questions were bad, so I think he ended a little earlier than he could have.

  • Could not Park and we missed the show.

by Jon on 12/27/22Town Hall - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

We could not find parking anywhere. All the garages were full or there was a long line to wait in. Traffic was horrendous when I was circling the blocks to find street parking. Sadly we missed this event and we had to turn around and head home. I will avoid the city shows and look for other places outside NYC to visit. This was a horrible night for my wife and I

  • Hilarious but short

    by Z on 12/20/22Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

He was hilarious! Loved the show, but wish the show was longer. Other than that, more than happy to see him again!
