  • Nice venue, not a great show

by Rachael b on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 2 out of 5

Nick Offerman was funny when he was trying to be, but a lot of the show was political rhetoric about his far left views. Regardless of where on the political spectrum you fall, it is not what we are there to see and it ended up being more of a monologue about his world views.

  • Not stand-up

    by Customer on 3/20/23Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino - MaricopaRating: 1 out of 5

If you're expecting to see a standard stand-up routine, from Ron Swanson, you'll be disappointed. About a quarter of the audience had left early, by the time I left early...

  • Absolutely wonderful

by Erin Ashley on 3/20/23Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino - MaricopaRating: 5 out of 5

Nick put on an amazing show. My husband and I had so much fun. His jokes were very much our humor. Hope to see him next time he comes to town.

  • Not very funny

    by Disappointed on 3/20/23Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino - MaricopaRating: 1 out of 5

I would like to say first i respect Nick Offerman and the work and time and effort they put in to it...That being said..this show was very very disappointing..Very preachy and political..i came in knowing it wasn't a tradition comedy show..but this was just a diatribe of everything wrong with everyone but Mr. Offerman...People go to shows for a distraction of life...and to enjoy themselves..this was not it...i didn't laugh once...i was some what offended by most of the show..and my wife and i subsequently left early..

  • So much fun!

by Dee Dee on 3/20/23Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino - MaricopaRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman was amazingly witty and funny. I am not sure the Arizona crowd knew what they were getting but I did and enjoyed every single second of his show!!

  • Good show

    by Pop on 3/20/23Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino - MaricopaRating: 5 out of 5

Nick put on a really good show and ballroom was packed. Had a great time

  • Not comedy

by Matt on 3/19/23Rating: 1 out of 5

It was more a political rant than comedy. He’s not funny, but sure does like to complain.

  • Great Act; Horrible venue

by Tom on 3/16/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 5 out of 5

Great act; Horrible Venue. Took forever to get there. In the middle of nowhere. All of the electric car chargers were occupied, some by gas cars...grrr... Drunk conservatives constantly complaining about him being too liberal and then eventually getting up to go gamble. Nick was (as always) amazing and beautiful.

  • Eh....it was ok

by daffodilinbloom45 on 3/14/23Silver Legacy Casino Reno - RenoRating: 3 out of 5

Purchased tickets for daughter's birthday. She is a huge Parks and Rec fan. She loved it and that was all that mattered. If you like seeing celebrities talk about their politics with a little story telling on the side you will likely enjoy it.

  • He's still working out material, but overall great show

by Elaine on 3/14/23Silver Legacy Casino Reno - RenoRating: 4 out of 5

We got to see the second show of Nick Offerman's tour when he played in Reno. He's clearly still working out his material but we had a great time. And man was it fun watching people storm out who had no idea that he's a raging liberal and thought they were there to see Ron Swanson perform (as if he would ever). Excellent night out with greta entertainment. I suspect his show will only get better as he gets more comfortable with his material.

  • Beefy, Sensitive and Entertaining

by David on 3/14/23Silver Legacy Casino Reno - RenoRating: 4 out of 5

People who just know Nick from Parks and Recreation will be pleasantly surprised by the act. He's a good storyteller with good insights and good musical skills. Yes, he talks about his episode from Last of Us. Great act which should be on TV more often

  • Too political

by Meh on 3/14/23Silver Legacy Casino Reno - RenoRating: 2 out of 5

Not sure when it became a thing to spew politics 80% of the time at a comedy show. Certainly not all one sided and “your” opinion. Here or there on both sides is fine but when you base the almost the entire set on your political views then it no longer becomes comedy.

  • Not Good

by GoKrip on 3/13/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 2 out of 5

Nick disappointed us. He wasn’t that funny and gravely missed his mark in terms of social commentary. His songs were cute, but he didn’t really know them well. Kept forgetting lyrics and looking down for his paper cues. Harrahs venue was also disappointing. Just a big ballroom with bleachers in the back. Still a fun night out, but wouldn’t recommend.

  • Nick does a great show for the price.

by Steve on 3/13/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 5 out of 5

IMHO, ticket price is a BIG part of the value of the show. The Nick Offerman tickets were not expensive, and the show was in a good venue. The show itself was quite funny. Just NO playing guitar for his own songs, and talking about modern issues and his TV characters.

  • Overall Fun expereince

by Christian on 3/13/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 4 out of 5

Plenty of reviews I saw prior to going to the event said his routine was far too political. Though I align mostly with the messages Nick attempts to convey, I could understand how many people could see it as too much. That being said, a fan of Nick is aware of his outward facing views and beliefs and shouldn't be surprised... This isn't your chance to see Ron Swanson live, so just go in with an open mind. Very funny and good humor from someone great at telling stories.

  • Best Night Ever

by Wackywags on 3/13/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 5 out of 5

From the moment he walked into the stage till the moment he took his final bow- Nick didn’t disappoint. My husband and I laughed and cheered and just had a great time out, it felt like we were among friends. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back!

  • Uplifting, Moving, Hilarious Evening

by TheMadHistorian on 3/13/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman was truly a delight. He was hilarious (expected), but also called on us as an audience to do better as people as we move about the world— but, in the kindest, most thoughtful way. I so appreciate that he is trying to reconceive of comedy as a more positive endeavour, rather than something done at the expense of others. The venue did leave a bit to be desired— banquet chairs placed very, very closely together, and the vestiges of cigarette smoke from casino floor— but the acoustics were excellent, and overall, such a delightful, uplifting performance.

  • Amazing show by a wonderful guy!

by Andi on 3/13/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman promotes decency and kindness in a very funny way.

  • Thoroughly enjoyable!

    by CaliGal57 on 3/11/23Rating: 5 out of 5

First and foremost, this is NOT Ron Swanson. If you think that’s who you are going to see, you will be disappointed. Nick Offerman is a genuine, honest, funny, and thought provoking entertainer who is passionate about his life, his wife, and the world he lives in. Were there inflammatory topics? Depends on what side of the fence you’re on. His message is ‘it’s ok to disagree, just be kind to your fellow humans.’ Did I agree with some of his commentary? No, I did not, but I still appreciated his opinion. We found him delightfully charming, and a breath of fresh air. His set consists of rumination’s on the world we live in, observations on what marriage is (and should be about), songs he wrote (he played his guitar), and generally funny stories. There is profanity, crude humor, and the occasional ‘yikes’ moment ( this 65 year old woman had no idea the ‘peach emoji’ has a life of its own). In spite of that, the evening was a hit. Well done Mr. Offerman. Thank you for the laughs!

  • A big fan, but this is terrible

    by D. M. on 3/8/23Rating: 1 out of 5

If you are coming for Ron Swanson, don't- he's a creation of the writers of Parks and Recs. If you are coming to hear a liberal guy ranting, this *might* be for you. But honestly, very few of his observations are amusing. There are precious few laughs and if you are conservative at all- you will be offended and will likely leave. I'm not conservative *at all*- and I was watching the clock. He needs comedy writers to make this act work. It pains me as a big Offerman fan to say this- save your money.
