  • Not good

by Dissapointed on 3/28/23Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino - MashantucketRating: 1 out of 5

Went in hoping for a great comedy night but was very disappointed. Not many jokes and clearly ran out of material. We ended up leaving early along with hundreds of others.

  • AMAZING

by Anna Wiskerchen on 3/28/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman is a well rounded, all talented guy. For those people who rated it one star because it wasn’t stand up, it wasn’t marketed as just “stand up”. Offerman is a political guy and sorry if you’re too right winged to laugh at some political jokes. If you were expecting nothing political out of him you don’t follow him and his brand well enough. Do you research on the guy before you spend money. Nick Offerman is an incredible man and I’m sorry y’all in the reviews can’t see that. He was brave enough to show us some songs and admitted that he isn’t a musician, his witty song lyrics and connotations were greatly placed and I highly recommend this show if you know the true Nick Offerman.

  • Now I am the one who is "disappointed", Nick.

by Disappointed in Chicago on 3/27/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 2 out of 5

I own several of Nick's books and am familiar with his politics, and the fact he is "not Ron Swanson", yet I was disappointed by his not-so-nuanced critique of those who are right-leaning. In fact, most of the 90 minute show was political commentary. While the spoken message was one of "love one another", the underlying theme was quite critical and judgmental. Sad we paid top dollar for front row seats to hear political and social commentary instead of the sophisticated, yet raunchy humor of Nick Offerman that we were expecting.

  • Should have read the reviews

by Not a fan on 3/26/23Rating: 1 out of 5

All the charm of a Greta Thunberg environmental symposium. If you want to be alternatively hectored by a millionaire for your faults, then told to be a good person, this show is for you. If not avoid like the plague.

  • Amaze-balls

by Natty lite on 3/23/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman is one of my top 5 Celebes I have always wanted to meet! Thank you for coming to the area! Although I couldn’t meet him it was so amazing seeing one of my favorite actors up on stage!! I drove 2.5 hours to go see the show alone since my boyfriend got sick and couldn’t come and drove 2.5 hours back to Champaign, IL the same night and it was WORTH IT! Amazing amazing amazing getting to hear him speak and sing and definitely hilarious getting to hear him laugh (cause it’s infectious) 😂 thanks again Nick Offerman I wish we could be friends but regardless you da man!!

  • Humor Prompts Reflection

by Josette S on 3/23/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Offerman is funny, uncomfortable, insightful and reminiscent of the great George Carlin. His jokes and folksy music challenge audiences to think about difficult social and political topics, especially for those who might not be receptive. Bravo for Offerman's courage! Great performance!

  • Not funny

by Nicole on 3/22/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 1 out of 5

Nick Offerman is better as an actor than comedian. The 2 couples sitting next to us seemed like they were bored. I almost fell asleep.

  • Ron Swanson He's Not

by E. S. on 3/22/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely hilarious! He may be new to the stand-up scene, but he is a pro. He will definitely make you laugh.

  • Compassionate comedy

by Austin K. on 3/21/23Silver Legacy Casino Reno - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I ventured from Washington state for Nick Offerman's Reno show, and we're both glad we did. As a comedian and performance artist, he stands above even his most intriguing television characters as one of a kind. His compassionate comedy made the audience think about their relationships to one another, while his songs (unexpectedly numerous!) were playful and joyous. His approach to the material was genuinely and refreshingly earnest, and his fearlessness was inspiring.

  • If you love Nick’s books, you’re in for a treat!

by Liz on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

If you’re going to this show go worship Ron Swanson, you’ll be disappointed. However, if you love Nick Offerman and know what he’s about, you’re going to laugh your ass off and have one hell of a night.

  • Disappointed

by Gigi on 3/21/23Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Valley CenterRating: 1 out of 5

We were very disappointed in the Nick Offerman event. We were expecting to be entertained with a comedian. Instead, it was a political lecture. We saw several people get up and leave during the middle of the show. We stayed to the end, but did not enjoy it at all. A very disappointing evening.

  • Because I Paid a Millionaire $60 to Berate Me

by Dumber than you on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 1 out of 5

Not a comedy show. Way political with pro-woke agenda. Just not enjoyable, felt like a Thanksgiving beat down from your liberal uncle. And It’s not because he’s not Ron Swanson, not relatable or funny. Would not recommend.

  • This man gives me hope

by Hope Lincoln on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

We are all blessed by the words, wisdom, and whimsy offered by this spectacle of a man. I am impressed by his comedy and intellect, and seduced by his thoughtfulness, vulnerability, and honesty. Long live the king. If he and Megan ever need a third, I’m game.

  • Lots o' fun

by Mr Joshua on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman's show was definitely worth our time and money. His stories were amusing. The songs were clever, and frequently raised eyebrows. The true magic of the evening, however, was Nick's reflective nature. While he didn't go out of his way to list vocations, hobbies, or skills, it became obvious that Nick Offerman is a well rounded human being. His experiences injected the funny bits with empathy, and peppered his performance with wisdom.

  • Excellent show

by Kevin on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Didn’t know what to expect. Talked and sang about life which was rather enjoyable. Definitely recommend the show

  • Refreshing Experience

by Max’s Mom on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 4 out of 5

I didn't know Nick did standup before receiving the Venue's notification; thus, I had no expectation for what he would bring to the stage and was open to whatever Offerman offered. Nevertheless, his show was a refreshing experience - a fireside chat I could relate to. I received Nick's vulnerability bared to the audience as a warm cozy blanket. And his poignant last song (not Ron Swanson) was the perfect frame to encapsulate his intimate discussion. I hope to see him perform again!

  • Must see

by Jacqstocks on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Comedy, current topics, music. If you’re uptight and narrow minded, don’t go!

  • Not what I thought

by Kibble48 on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

  • Great!!

by Ryan on 3/21/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Nick is a great storyteller. Brutally honest and genuine, he really likes to get down to the topics that one would like to avoid. It was a great show
